Ian Smith is an absolute legend of the cricket broadcasting world...albeit a bit underrated (as in not top of mind, at least to Indian viewers), but a legend alright. Love his insights, his energy and his love for the game. Thanks for bringing this to us Harsha.

Absolutely adore him, I want Ian Smith Sir to commentate while NZ win a WC. That 2019 Final was made immortalized by him but result was a heartbreaker. I hope NZ have a happy ending although they did have a WTV
He can/will commentate for as long as he could & what makes him different is that even in his Team's losing moment, he can talk with good passion and respect to opposition..... Thats a special weapon😎 & for a real 🏏 follower can rewind ⏪ back & see that in almost all big occasions/roller coaster match - He will be the one who give the fans the real pressure/Goosebumps ☺😉.

I wish I can watch and hear this for hours and not just for 33 minutes only, It's like reading a Novel of a Two Good friends talking about eachother in that novel itself, the atmosphere the birds around that place, and seeing the way you two commentary legends remembering your best moments, it's simply wonderful 🫡👏👏

For me, the main point is, Ian Smith want himself to recognised as a commentator from NZ not NZ commentator. This is a big word. I wish, if our fellow Indian friends were ready for it. Then we would have seen best out of Hasrha. Harsha was so good. But 2016's incident, Harsha become much more conservative and become Indian commentator . But i really want Harsha to be a commentator from India rather than Indian commentator. But for that audience and broadcaster should give him that freedom.
