Yeh right. When everyone was going for adopting side on slinging actions for reverse swing following Waqar and Shoaib akhtar, here comes the most perfect high arm Bond that swung the ball into the right handers like miles, and that too at 150 k's consistantly. He is in the league of McGrath, Wasim, Ambrose, Steyn and Marshall. Unfortunately, he was cut short due to career ending injuries. He could've easily been amongst the best of all times, but sadly he couldn't play long enough. New Zealand cricket also did him no favor by bringing him in the side on the verge of 27. He should have been brought in at raw age of 18 so that we could have seen more of him against the likes of Lara, Ponting, Sachin, Gilchrist etc.
He didn't show his potential until later in his career. He was an average paced first class bowler and literally in the space of a season he discovered he could bowl 150+ with accuracy and movement!! Fully fit he was lethal!
