@@PaulHamiltonCFI I started sports pilot training last year and my plane went down over a year and it was the last sport pilot plane I could fly in the area. I was looking at a zenith o200 and was wondering if you knew if it was certified to train in?
thanks for the video. I'm finishing up my PPL training in a Diamond DA20C1, which I enjoy - the Zodiac seems very similar. Is this the 601 or 650? or is there any difference? also, which engine did you go with? also did you build yourself? I'm about 2 hours from Carson City.
Paul Hamilton Thanks Paul I'm just starting in the planning research stages of getting my Australian Recreational pilots licence and this video explained a lot of the terminology versus what it actually LOOKS Like.. Subbed :-O) Regards Vince.
Good, even, pic quality and contrast, looking both outside and at the panel. What form of light metering did you set on the camera--center, average, or spot? My camera(s) are often over-exposed for the sky part of the picture, during similar shots from behind the pilot's seat.--RD
Thanks for taking me along Paul! Camera working beautifully.
I love, love, love these videos! I learned a lot of what a pilot does and especially how important those checklist are. Please keep posting!
That is a lovely panel you have in the plane. Nice, simple and clean. Would you mind sharing the details of the instrument cluster?
The instrument cluster is the standard "six pack" installed in most airplanes
THOROUGHLY enjoyed the video!
What engine is in your 601? Did you build it?
Where is the airport?
Thanks again.
Bob Roloff The engine is a Continental o200 and this is a factory built S-LSA. I fly out of Carson City CXP Nevada and Reno RNO Nevada

@freediverga Yes you must learn stalls for the sport pilot license. Stalls are pretty easy once you get used to them.
Yes this is in Carson City Nevada near Reno and Lake Tahoe
@beechsport0 Generally, they are all nice airplanes. And i am sure the mod fixed any problems.

This is a 601 which is very similar to a 650 which has a slightly greater angle if incidence and more visibility in the canopy
