you have to time the rebound dash(let go of jump a few frames before hitting the wall) so you need some skill for it also he doesn’t have roll lock and instead drifts lmao
i love this dude. having to basically tech your walljump is really fun to master ran through both vanilla and the 06 level pack last night with him and by the end i was really flying through stages, he can snowball pretty hard
Vector can actually go into the short spin paths. You just need to start motor spinning a bit away from it (when you hold spin while in wheel form), then turn hard with the camera.
Makes me wish we had Vector in another classic style game. So far we've gotten Amy, Mighty, and Ray into the recent classic style games and a new character entirety, so maybe we'll get the Chaotix playable in a 2D game again?

barely 2 days past jeez lol i dont get how some parts of this could be considered sub optimal, routing seems to be pretty tight, i really like the gfz2 path you took
i feel like 2.2.9 was my favourite part of the modding scene in srb2, now it kinda just feels like every mod is a sonic character with a dashmode. it feels kinda bland for me atleast.
the character didn’t really click with me so i wouldn’t expect any more runs with vector, but seeing how popular this run got i’ll think about it a little more
Not the point of this video, but it just clicked in my head Victor the Crocodile is the last Sonic character besides the recent "Trip" that rolls, and jump attacks this way.
I find it funny how so far every reptilian Sonic character had a unique rolling animation. Both Trip and Vector roll like wheels, while Espio spins like a top.

The Chaotix are the best playable Characters in Robo Blast 2 So Far before them & 102 Gamma the modding scene was pretty lame of characters
