You forgot that Up B You can tilt it backwards to launch opponents slightly higher and KOs a sooner from the top. And Up B forward same but for right side or left side blast zone.

One more small thing that wasn’t mentioned - if you get a bury, you can use the sour/middle spot of side-b to hit them and then it will force them to do a bit of a hop back in what every direction you were facing once they escape the bury.

hello there, I struggle against her too and I got about 4 of them in my local scene, did you find out her weaknesses by now? or is it just parrying and hoping she messes up?
I learned to outrange her basically. She's very good midrange and somewhat closeup due to the fast jab but if you can force her to approach, you're good. Always read the down B and space attacks properly because if not, you get met with Up B or a number of her options. I play Joker, and Min Min so both these characters have tools to pressure from a very safe distance. I don't play as much as I used to though and this is just what I remember @@Takujaki
@@laserbeamlightning thanks for your input. Sadly she counters all my winconditions because I main Lucas. But I guess I have to get good at calling her out and trading her somehow in close range
@@Takujaki you have side B and a Zair of your own for air to air interactions. Use up smash for hard end of stock call outs for early kills at like 70-80
@@Takujaki run back at ledge instead of just down smashing for the two frame. She can drop down up air to fend off close range ledge camping. Neutral B ice offstage obviously
Thanks for the video Izaw! I play Link and I am thinking about picking up ZSS specifically for Falcon/Ganon matchup (mostly Falcon, its hard to keep up with his speed as Link). I was struggling to figure out how to get her flip kick to combo from... well anything, and the most helpful thing I didn't know was that you have to aim her foot. Also, I didn't see it in the video, but with her side b, you can hold the b button if you do it into a shield, and the have to respect the entire duration, and can lead into up air combos because instead of sending them out, it will send them above you :)
As heavy as armored Samus is, Zero suit can still back throw to down b spike KO her at 70 percent. It's like everything Armored Samus does is just a cue for Zero suit to down B for a free bury. Occasionally my armored Samus will catch ZS with a fair, but I don't remember the last time I beat a really good ZS.
I love ZSS. She's so fluid and a great combo'er, but damn I think I've SD'd myself more times than I can count with her Dair. I'm pretty sure she always goes toward whatever direction she's facing.
I’ve always said it, zss moves/combos when they land, are some of the smoothest and hypest moments in smash. I just wish she wasn’t so damned hard man (I fucking suck)
4:30 thats the hardest read i have ever seen, none of that is ever going to work against zss, first of all, she can drift while on her down b animation, second, that read is completly unreal on a serious match, since she has tons of other options to go for, and if you go for that read shown in the video, and she does ANYTHING else, congratz, you are now in the corner against zss about to get nair flip kicked to your death

optimal DI on uthrow is down and away; you can survive MUCH later than 150% (though instant uthrow on approaches can force bad DI)
