Hey Greg!! Thanks for taking the time to get a video out while on vacation!! Looks like you found where this truck could really be showcased. Great video and keep them coming!!!
NP, lost a bunch of family time. But I had a bunch of people asking for the review. I wanted to make sure I got multiple days of drive time in on it. It impressed me, a lot! Thanks!
Recently started to watch your channel and I could honestly say I enjoy them. So your now part of my favorite three, you know who the other two are LOL.
Now THAT looks like a lot of fun! Have to admit, my wish list is getting a bit long these days! :) Trying to finish off my Traxxas list before getting the Arrma list started! Thanks for all you do my friend, it's well appreciated!
Dude… push this or the 6s infraction to the top of your list, I’m no Arrma fanboy but something about the infraction that that you instantly fall in love with. Such a menacing truck but gives you full confidence the minute you pull that first Rip… feel your pain with the never ending list tho, so many great trucks from all platforms at the minute 🤘🏽
Brother, I'm falling in love with Arrma!! Some of the koolest looking bodies, interchangeable parts on like models, built for bashing hard and speed in most cases, easy to work on, parts support, etc!
I totally agree, these are great vehicles!!! I just picked up an Infraction 3s blx and a Vendetta converted to the Infraction (R/W/B Mega body) w/the Spektrum Firma 3200kv motor & blx100 esc w/fan. My daughter got the BLX and picked up on the drifting quickly, I took the converted platform (a little harder to drive with no AVC) and it runs right with the 3s blx. Bound to my GT-5 I have been able to set a couple different profiles to tune it in. They also run well on my 2s packs. Even compared to my beloved Mojave 6s BLX V2 these 1/8 Infractions rip. So happy I picked them up.
Plastic gears are a dealkiller for me. If it had the new 4S stuff it would be cool. By the time I replaced the spur, hardened pinion and all the plastic garbage in the diffs of my 3S Typhon I basically spent as much money as if I'd just bought a 6S Typhon. Learned my lesson there.
I am glad I scrolled down to the comments before finishing this video as I was considering this or maybe the vendetta. I guess I just gotta bite the bullet and splurge for the 6s Infraction or Felony.
im not sure why you need metal diffs and spur for a typhon 3s.... they are very strong and keeps weight down my typhon 3s is all stock drivetrain except a 18 tooth pinion and and I have not had any failures after atleast 40 packs put through it. what saves your diffs is maintenance and good grease.
I just dont get why ppl buy this overpriced arrma stuff in General when one can buy a 1:7th scale hobao onroad Roller with the best drivetrain the rc industry has to offer. Just need to buy electronics of your choice, wheels and a body. But thats too much work for the most at the beginning, because they rather maintain and shim the poor arrma diffs constantly afterwards🤣
@@AsurasWrath164 Right. Why spend 500 on a 6s typhon when you can drop 420 on an off scale car and then drop another 500 in "the best" parts to make it run.
@@MrDngrsdave Sorry bro but if you haven't stripped a plastic spur yet you just aren't sending it hard enough. The plastic spur is trash. The input and crown on the diffs hold up a little better but still don't last. Also are your plastic shocks really not leaking after 40 packs? Are you sure they have oil in them? The 6S metal bodied ones are so superior.
Wow I’m impressed don’t have an Arrma yet this is gonna be my first one!… What a day n age we live so many cool RC’s to choose from it’s mind boggling!…
The first thing to do is get the belted hoons that’s made for the vendetta/infraction 3s. The stock tires don’t last that long (if you drive kinda rough)
I like the Vendetta for fast fun in a straight line and that’s about it. Some people like that. But I’m loving the high speed drivability of this Infraction BLX!
Oddly enough, I did not like the Vendetta in a “road course” style drive. It’s dialed for straight line runs. I found the Infraction BLX to have much better all around drivability.
@@rcdriver Any chance you could dig into how it is physically altered to drive differently? The parts seem to be IDENTICAL, except for foam bumper, side guards, and body.
When you were comparing the 3S and the Mega I was wondering if the bodies are interchangeable, as well as the 6S version, thanks. Keep the great videos coming.
This one has the burnout option?? What cars have it Fireteam and infraction has a hold button for burnouts?? Please correct me if I'm wrong in searching Hi and low for a car that can do that. Hold a break, burn rubber like real race car really cool feature just gotta find it lol
I never ran this one but I did run the vendetta which power slides like a champ. If you say this one is your favourite it sounds amazing. Did you mean you prefer it to the 6s on road line?
If you have the space, the 6S line might be the better option. I’ve only driven the Gen 1 6S and did enjoy that. But for the price (with 3S packs) and the size that is perfect for most running areas I have available to me, I absolutely love it’s performance. I actually just came back inside from running it again and checked this video for new comments to help with. Guess I’m hooked on it, it’s a blast!
Morning time Bobby from SC . I think you said it has a 120AMP ESC . Can you a 4S battery ? Excellent job really enjoy your UA-cam site too. Thanks Bobby
I’ve got one of these absolutely love it I’m running it on a gens ace 8000mah 100c how are you getting it to power slide and donut mine just seems to have so much grip and seems to stop when I try
Love the truck but it doesn’t do well with straight line speed runs! It’s all over the place!! Even with turning the SR wonder how to fix that! Any ideas?
What kind of body is on your Granite project you mention at the beginning of the video? It looks fairly narrow and I think it might work well on a Big Rock.
Checked the components for Vendetta to Infraction 3s, & the second Vendetta coming lol will become an Infraction and be saving $ 100 bucks . Never thought id drive Arrmas. So far , so good.
Why is the vendetta better for a straight line and not bashing in a parking lot? They seem like identical vehicles except slight right height difference and the body.
Nice. I love arrma. I still have my granite blx and have quite a few upgrades like 4s and she is a beast. I would love to get this however my issue is the cost of the tires. To replace them here in Canada I am looking at 100$ and that is insane and a rip off in my opinion
I do not understand why they wouldn’t utilize the 4s power plant in this rig to coincide with the new 4s lines’ update. It would’ve made more sense to me to go that route and have on/off road vehicles in each different class. They’ve already got the vendetta on road for 3s, the brushed infraction, the 6s infraction/felony, so why not a 4s on road car? I know it’s a simple power combo swap but just seems like they missed an opportunity to expand that line up.
I think it's a good on road option for a lot of the people running the other 3s models, big rock granite etc. That already have a stockpile of 3s batteries. My big rock v3 is the toughest rc I've owned in 20 yrs. I have had breaks and modified some stuff, but very minimal.
Part of the fun for me is doing up realistic bodies for my road cars and then ripping them around. Nobody makes bodies for this size car yet. It’s not sct gt car size, it’s bigger than 1/10 touring etc. Maybe a company will turn some bodies out for them but unless other manufacturers make cars this size then it will just die off as the model dies off. The point of hobby grade RC besides the speed and power is customization. Without customization then it’s just another RTR Rc car that gets left behind when the next great rtr car comes out.
There are actually 3 bodies available: the stock body, the vendetta body, a protoform 2021 mustang gt, and a protoform 2023 Nissan Z body. I just know this because I just bought an infraction mega to upgrade to brushless my own way and got the Mustang GT for it :)

A ridiculously overpowered RC that can race on pavement and do bashing too, I put Talion wheels on mine and have no problem doing backflips off even small jumps. These infractions I feel like you get them once you already filled out your collection and have your Big Rock and a 6s arrma car and just itching to get yourself a drifter now.
