Haha this is basically an rc Hoonitruck, absolutely love it
Yep I literally searched up RC hoonitruck and this is what I got
Seriously
Dang the infraction is already a year old?. Also at 0:10 Brett predicted the arrma felony
It’s true. People do not know how serious the safety on this is. I’m super stoked. I’m buying one 2 Nd hand from neighbor. Half price. Needs tires. But all I all. It’s fun. But you need experience. And safety first.
So the channel channels and the diffuser diffuses. That's amazin!

Nice job on this vid. I love that it actually leaves a burnout on the street AND smokes the tires, this is a really cool rc!
Nice overview, and really appreciate the nod to the safe practices that even while having fun, we should remain conscious of.
Awesome breakdown Brett, your so good at your job brother! Loved this video! Very well edited with perfect looks👍👍😄
Appreciate it Tom!
-Brett
I thought it's just gonna be a truggy chassis with buggy arms and onroad shocks, but it's nice to see that it's actually a purpose-built machine. Good job Arrma!
LOL!!! Literally burning rubber out of a slide, So neat I would love one of these.
At 12:32 it left tread marks 😆 That little machine is a beast!
My Traxxas Rally VXL hit my ankles at about 45mph and it took a layer of skin off. Still have a scar. It almost knocked me down and at first I thought it totally broke my ankle. Can’t imagine more weight at significantly more speed. Dangerous.
Ouch. Glad the ankle didn't break.
-Brett
Wait the beginning... Its not a felony!? How did you know 1 year ago?
Presentation was no less awesome than the car kit itself! Great work! Thank you very much! :-)
best overview of the car ive seen yet.
The dust this thing kicks up is a testament to how well this
truck performs. Make me want one just that much more now loll.
really appreciate the emphasis on safety. I've seen people get serious lower leg injuries due to unexpected, high speed collisions. Not good. As for the truck? That thing is sweet. Love the body and paint job. Looks very very fun.
Greeaaat, that buy now button “click” sound is looping in my head and I can’t sleep. . Awesome review!! 👍
Now that rc car companies are researching active aero technology, you have to now tune the car/truck for pitch sensitivity. inserting rubber o-rings on the shock shaft will need to be used. The floor effect will suck the truck to the ground to maximize grip while lowering drag like real GT3 race cars . The second worse case it will spin out if the low pressure is towards the front, and the worse case is that it will launch in the air and fly like a shuriken.
Thanks your information is better than manufacturers.👍👍😀🏁
We play with one at our shop and the tyres get super sticky an hot, Such a fast car!
AMain has really stepped it up with these vids. Great informaiton!
Those things are savage!!
I have a udr and can't really justify getting one unfortunately.
Nice video.👌
LukeNukem saving your money for a haircut
Just purchased can’t wait for delivery
Good choice and have fun!
-Brett
This guy seem so cool and down to earth, I want to be friends with him!
My son just took his out of the box
Great video !!!
Fantastic review as always Brett. Like the dirty car and love the self-deprecating bits. "The diffuser diffuses..." Added bonus: table rub and bongos.
The coolest truck I have seen in a while !!
I'll stick with the stock pinion gear. I love having torque and acceleration. 63 mph is plenty fast in a parking lot bashing.
Beautiful truck!!
Didn't know it was that big.
Now i understand the price 😁😁
Nice to see someone taking safety into consideration for once. People doing speed runs are crazy. A car like this will easily break bones if it hts someone.
I've been speed running for years and have yet to hit somebody I make sure I'm on a empty road and nobody around and I myself stay far enough away or high enough to not hit myself so we are not crazy thank you
Great video explaining everting you need to know about the car 🙏🏽
The word you were looking for when showing us the bottom of the chassis is "downforce". Great review, I bought an Arrma Senton on a whim and am really impressed with their product. That thing has taken well to big mods.
Nice! The Senton is pretty awesome and does well on the track too. What mods have you done?
-Brett
This thing looks A-ma-zing!
And it’s not a felony. FORESHADOWING MUCH
Nailed it Brett. 👍😃
You would be a great corporate trainer. Thanks for the details.
Love this video I get mine tomorrow can’t wait
Holy crap that's fast!!!! I just got into drones about a year or 2 ago. And man i have been missing so much fun with all this r.c. stuff!!!! This really makes me wanna get a r.c. car/truck!!!!!! Well i need 2 find a used car to buy 1st lol my jeep broke down last week and the shop said the engine is blown!!!! Dam i wanted 2 get a new drone or a fast r.c. car/truck like this one!!!
Great Channel & Great Review!!!
👍😀👍
This truck.might be the toughest truck out there. Stock out of the box. Insane. But also. Super pricey. Good break down.
Love your videos AMian hobbies
My Rusty running a 3S LiPo. Rolling on Traxxas SCT tires, runs 81mph. And that 35C minimum set by Arrma, they had the same thing for the Nero trucks. But a good 25C never gave me any problems!
Great in-depth vid/review Brett 😁 I always enjoy 🤙🏼 What a beast 😈
Good safety notice. Thumbs up.
It's a roll bar bruh! Too funny, I found what I am asking Santa for this year!, man this is a badass truck!
Nice review Brett! This truck is awesome and your right. People need to take these trucks seriously 👍
It needs a GoPro mount and some 80+mph F.P.V.😈
You are a lucky man,Brett!
I like to drive mine on freshly paved parking lots or behind store buildings that have almost new pavement much smoother ride and u don't mess your car up as much
Great info👍👍 Extremely well detailed. All that talk of dirt though makes me want to take a shower😂🤣 But you pose a good point, may have to pick up and shroud for this kit.
Hey! That's a really good idea for this platform.
-Brett
I officially want one of these, now.
Great commentary Brett,
Good job!
I’d love to see a comparison of this to say, an XO1. It definitely looks better. I know the Limitless is a better direct comparison, but as it’s not an rtr, this gets my vote.
Hmm, the XO1 is around $749; wonder if you could pick up the Limitless and the needed electronics for less than that to have an equal to, or faster speed from the Limitless. Good food for thought.
-Brett
this thing is gymkhana/hoonigan mode to the max!
Hah!!! Looks like I'll be buying yet another RC!
YES! All of this!
No pushing a Slash off of the table...? :)
😂😂😂
JayTee RC
Whoa my boy JayTee just casually being in this comment section
Looks bad ass
Great video. Thanks for covering things that were missed in other videos. Good tips, ya saw couple people almost getting hit. Only wish you would have done more size comparison s to every RC car ever made.lol👍👻🏁
My DeLorean goes 88 miles per hour.
BETTER BATTERIES N GEAR THE CRAP OUT OF IT FOR 100+, REALLY DUDE..
Awesome review video my friend great truck man Arrma did an amazing job on this rig can't wait to get mine out for some speed drifting happy bashing my friend👍😎🤪😜😝🙈🙉🙊👊✌
Nice overview! Gotta have this one!
This looks very tempting!!! 🤔
Can its ride height be increased a bit for higher ground clearance?
Not easily. Its designed to ride low to the ground.
-Brett
Supposedly you can put longer travel typhon shocks and that would make it ride higher. Dunno about that but yeah.
Diffuser was the right word
Safety is key!!
Fantastic looking truck.
I absolutely love this thing...
Whatsup Brett! Glad to see ya again! I just realized, is it illegal to drive this truck on a 25 mph speed limit road?
And that is a very unique wing. Clear? Pretty odd, but cool. Keep up the great work !
No, I don't think it's against the law but you would need to check with your local authorities. I'm not really sure what the law's stance on fast r/c cars to be honest.
-Brett
AMain Hobbies ok cool, would be pretty funny if there was a fast RC law!
That would be so dumb..
Uhh what dude 😂😂😂😂 not illegal whatsoever
Would love to see it as a rally car
I miss the music bing louder lol! Great Video!
HA! I might ban you forever and ever for that comment. JK.
-Brett
This is my new favorite rc car 😍😲🥴
Cool, fenders that cover the wheels...
What paint is used to get that brown? I have a lexan body and want it brown like this but can’t find a brown for lexan only a brown for plastics
That's a good question but we aren't sure. That body comes pre-painted from Arrma in that style and color; shoot them an email they may tell you.
This is the Tamiya PS lexan color chart; if you see something you like that we don't have, we can order it: www.tamiyausa.com/blog/ps-paint-chips-tamiya-color-spray-polycarbonate/
Ok, I should have looked first; there are very few brown colors. It's a shame because the plastic paint selection is extensive with more military colors and variants to choose from.
-Brett
What a interesting video my friend~!!😍👍🙋♂️
Good overview. Spongy wheels? :-)
Dangerous but also fun, sounds good to me
Would love to see you flog the XO-1 against this new rig.
Have you experimented to see if the spool from the Limitless will fit on the Infraction?
I wish, but the parts have not been released yet; sad face :(
BUT, i'm sure it will fit. I believe the center differential housing is the same in both platforms.
-Brett
Love it, can’t get here in Japan, they need a seller in Japan 👍🏻
We ship to Japan Cam.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies is there a country where you don't ship to?
Greetings from Germany.
That is awesome man 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
youve got a great job man
Nice breakdown and info!
Very Nice! I'm so getting this vehicle! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice vid and absolute nice car
Great job like always
New to the hobby. I want to go to all-around Basha but fast should I get the infraction or the felony? I already ordered the giant stunt truck should be here today
At least you guys are honest
Also for drifting with Drift Tiers? Love the looks of IT. ....but Not only Highspeed shredding....are there Drift tires available?
Not that I've seen, but Arrma offers these Hoons tires in a harder rubber compound, which would help you get sideways. This truck is so powerful, it will break loose with any tire setup. Here are the tires, in Silver (Hard) compound: www.amainhobbies.com/arrma-dboots-hoons-42-100-2.9-belted-5spoke-premounted-tires-2-silver-ara550070/p1169344?v=1168394
-Brett
That's awesome! I always wanted the hoonatruck!
Anyone having a "range" issue with this car? I took it out for the
first time yesterday and I lost control of it, and it really wasn't that
far away, not even 75 yards. New batteries are in controller.
anyone?
We did too a little bit. The transmitter is not very powerful and a worthy upgrade.
-Brett
Beast🔥🔥🔥
Great review
Nice Job on this one Boss man!
Thanks guys! Glad you enjoyed the video.
-Brett
Jayson my outcast missing washers on diff drive cups , i shimmed internals looked in book aftet buying kraton seeing them on kraton than i made ordering mistake orederd ar703 little washers for servo oyyyyyyh
Brett - awesome vid, and very good point about safety, as we don't want to give RC a bad name by hurting bystanders. But quick question: I always thought that RC cars had the open slot for the spur gear to lower the center of gravity. You say it's intended to let grit get out, but my impression is that it lets at least as much grit in. It seems pebbles could still get stuck in between the cutout and the spur. Thoughts?
True. It does allow a slightly lower CG. It also prevents the spur gear from hitting the chassis when the chassis flexes. On a nitro vehicle there is a notch for the flywheel/clutchbell because when the flywheel hits the chassis, the engine flames out. Good question.
-Brett
Ok that's it, I'm buying one, you talk me into it.
Hollywood Jack truck is sick as hell just got one 2 weeks ago so nasty it is worth it for sure
80 mph wow that's fast out of the box ...is there a temperature setting on the ESC so you don't smoke the Motor?..is it a sensored motor?
Hi Tom. The ESC is equipped with a thermal cutoff to power down, but that is mainly to protect the ESC from failure, it doesn't necessary protect the motor, as the motor could be way past it's threshold by that point. Spektrum has some telemetry technology that can be added to monitor temperatures from your transmitter but you'll have to buy some parts.
-Brett
WoooooW very nice amigo
Super video my friend. 😊 😎 👍
I like your information that you give. 👍 Yvan 😊
I have (2) orders of this beautiful truck. 👍
Two orders! Lucky. I'm a little jealous. Are they for you and a friend?
-Brett
Sweet vid Brett! Keep the vids coming!
Loving this one thanks for sharing very important information giving thanks blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💪💪💪
Thanks Phillip.
-Brett
it only gets dirty because the tyres have no guard around them and you are spinning the hell out of those slicks so tyre residue goes everywhere.
How do people do burnout's with out the car moving forward I don't understand it. Someone enlighten me please
Nash they were holding the back with there hand. It was off camera
@@NoRage_420 cheers mate
Great video 👍🏽
