I know this is old but i just looked at it and i found it on eBay i think, because the one i saw is only for 1 pipe, yes has 2 tips 2.5 pipe but this E46 cars has 2 pipes did you do modification to the 2 pipes to mske it 1 for the muffler?
one of the best sounding exhaust for e46 i head yet on youtube.. got a 328i e46 with Headers, 6 - 2 - 1 and one resonator closest to the engine, and a supersprint exhaust, but it doesnt sound brutal at all like yours.. i dont get it, no matter how much i put into it, not much of a change..
its the final exhaust that gives out the actual sound/rumble.. maybe change it and test it out? i bought a cheap ebay exhaust end muffler for my civic back then and just that made it loud (not fart canon loud tho)
did it sound obnoxious? or did it just add a deep rumble to the sound?
its really hard to make that up from a video.. thx

what brand tire do you have on there and whats the size?
fyi these are just cheap ebay mufflers, they dont have packing and pretty much sound almost like a straight pipe, ive done about a dozen of these on different cars they all sound the same, if you want something with decent sound try a flo pro, magnaflow, or flowmaster

Hows ur muffler holding up? Im asking because i heard ppl talking about the packing inside these mufflers falling apart after a short time. I just bought one for my e39 530.
what packing? they dont have any welcome to cheap ebay parts
Just bought a dual tip of ebay myself. My resonators were dual pipe at well so I had to get a Y pipe so it would fit though.

My car uses 2.5 but my other car has a 3inch
I got a 323i e46 chiped up I want to do the same thing add a hi flow muffler I ordered off ebay. That sounds just right not to to loud. I seen other e46 bmw with resonator removed that's bloody to loud. Louder than stock standard. I want to gain 10% more horse power on top of my chip. Good example like it.

toyotex its roughly 10%. I've got my hi flow exhaust muffler designed for m52 bmw engines. Its given me more acceleration in all my gears. And more fuel efficient less throttle to.
