He is doing exactly what he should be at zero survivability speeds. This was made during desert storm, so there are quite a few boats there that could fly past you at 150mph. He's not wide open himself, got another 20-30 mph in her and there are a bunch of dcb, skater, outerlimits, mti etc etc that run the 1350 and merc 8 setup on a fairly narrow river.
@@PoonPuncher Quite a few boats that can blow past 150mph? Was the Florida power boat club there or something? If you include real offshore racing boats then yes. It was a joke by the way. There aren’t many boats out there that can do 150+ that’s all I was saying.
@@MrCarnutbill67 There. is actually a lot there during desert storm, majority of the boats there can do 150+, some do 170. So yes there are boats that can come up behind them. They also need to know what's near them so if they need to move to pass another boat, they don't go into the path of someone behind them.
Some of the best on board video on UA-cam. Can hear those 1350s eating and visual is perfect. Backward facing cam gives a much better example of speed. At 1:11 is the speed Lickity was running at when it started swapping. Your video is perfect for people that haven't run that fast to see the sheer power and force of their situation. I thoroughly enjoy your videos when I can't break away to the lake, thank you. And RIP to the four great people that made Havasu a little better by just being there.
Fricken awesome! I don't know why your videos get me pumped up. I have watched a few videos, they just don't do it for me. Is there a page where I can learn the rules of the poker run? I will search for it. Nice video. BOOOOOOM!
I love how he keeps looking back like someone’s gonna go blowing by them at 150 mph. I do that in my 50mph boat. Haha

Looks like the seat on the port side is not really connected tightly.
Would love a forward angle too, maybe a split screen
The GPS feature start glitching at 8:00. The Garmin VIRB probably got a little too hot being placed under that wind screen
you would think shock absorbing seats would be pretty easy to make...
you dont want them on these. you want to feel everything because that is the difference between a crash and proper response
Mega! :P
Damn passenger seat looks like it’s gonna come out!!!!
That's Magoo's "Eject-o Seat-o" ..just incase the passenger becomes a pain in the ass and doesn't shut-up. 😂
it looks so fun
