😁 Out today: Pacific Rim, Night Rider, Battlestar Galactica, a Football ⚽ table (can't remember the name 🤣 but free to play for one week) and the one I'm most looking forward to XENA!!!!! These and Texas Chainsaw Massacre for Pinball M in June 👍👍✌️
I can't wait to play it - great to see alongside the Godzilla tables! Now they need to finish porting everything from FX3 to FX so I only have to run one program (plus M...).
👍👍 right there with you the Zen tables are so much better than the Insta Drain Williams table's! Coming out Today, can't wait: Xena, Night Rider, Battlestar Galactica, Pacific Rim and A Football ⚽ table (I forgot the name) and Texas Chainsaw Massacre for Pinball M in June 👍👍✌️
Nice Video, however wish there were more new Williams tables. Also hoping Zen isn't spreading out to too many systems and other projects, instead of focusing on new content. Keep the content coming!!!
@@cooltoy All the Williams ones that are still on Pinball Arcade they can get. Terminator 2, Elvira, Judge Dread, Dracula... Wish it would happen but probably unlikely with licensing and don't know how many people spend $15 for a table.
what mode did you play? Arcade or Classic. (Don't recall the different modes) this seemed very much Zen physics, making it easy to control the ball around the flippers.
Agreed. I think the trailer is more accurate to how it is compared to the gameplay footage. I'm not sure, though, what settings Cooltoy used based on his PC rig.
Definitely a cool theme, but the lack of prominent lines from the movie (the only one that matters), and better kaiju representation is a bit disappointing.
CoolToy, First, I love the look and flow of this table (at least as much as one can watching video of it :) ). I love the movies and think this is a great theme for a table. But now I'm going to throw something crazy into the mix. I think Zen could've really thought outside the box with this table. Really tap into the lore of the giant mechs. Jaegers are a two person operation and wouldn't it be interesting if they could make this a two player simultaneous table design? Or maybe an optional 2 player mode. Here's what I was thinking. First, and this is probably the most obvious. Have two people playing where each one takes control of one of the flippers. Wacky and Zany, I know :) The second one takes on an older tabletop Pinball design, where one person would sit at one end of the table and the other at the opposite end, each with their own set of flippers. The most memorable one of these types of tables to me was Williams Joust. Here's a clip of that one in action: ua-cam.com/video/Ob7CM71J2No/v-deo.html This would be perfect for online play as each would be able to see the whole table from their perspective. Then instead of the Jaeger as the animated character on the table, the table itself would be the extension of the Jaeger. You could then choose from several Jaegers and the playfield might change color to represent the one you and your friend chose. Then the animated character in the middle of the play area could be the baddie. Both players trying to take the monster down. New monsters would pop up every time one was defeated, all the way up to a final showdown boss, which could be sealing the rift itself. I think Zen has a cool looking table here, but I think they missed a big opportunity to do something crazy cool with it. I look forward to playing it in the future :) vgv
"Have two people playing where each one takes control of one of the flippers." 2 players, 1 machine exists, just have one person stand at each of the flipper buttons. It's always been this way.
@videgamevegas Now there's an idea! Would be an amazing feat to pull off in terms of theme integration, though I suspect most pinball fans would balk at the thought of playing with someone or relying on someone else's skills or lack there of to complete modes and objectives.
@@pinballwiz45b Hulk, Borderlands, System Shock, they do super annoying voice stuff all the time. It does not matter to me who did it, i just want the tables to talk less.
I cant wait for Pinball Brothers or Barrels of fun Pinball to create a machine with moving Mechs like this. I love Stern and JJP but they wouldn't take the risk to do something like this.

The fact the kaiju are just pop up targets is so disappointing
Looks the goods. Personally I enjoy the zen original tables. Samurai’s vengeance is my current favourite

You and me both! Any particular Williams table you are hoping to see roll out soon?

@@pinballwiz45b You are right Terminator would be $15, others would be $10.
@@Madden70 Nah. Indy was the one with heavily extended licensing. Terminator looks like cakewalk by comparison.
It look great, and that music! I hope for more Legendary franchies tables like Expanse or Dune movies.
Dune would be an awesome addition!
Expanse would be killer.

The pinball itself looks improved with better lighting & reflections or something, that goes a long way.

Watching you play made me very aware of how much I suck at pinball 😂
That voice is already busting balls....

I've got my fingers crossed for that as well
@@cooltoy ive got my entire body twisted and crossed for it at this point.
Great stuff. I'm looking forward to this table. Thanks for the video!
My pleasure, glad you enjoyed the gameplay video!
I love this so much.
They really need to improve their sound design and music, that's always been the weak point of Zen tables
Looks great, the Glados voice is a bit annoying.
Funnily enough, that's the same VA who voiced the Gypsy Danger AI in the film.
