Soooo.. this might sound like a really dumb idea. But maybe consider multiplying all currencie values by 10. When he said "expect to get really big rewards" and the screen showed a really big heap of coins; but then that heap only added "+3" to your coin counter... it seemed kinda off. Why are you getting only 3 coins from this giant heap of gold coins? Would feel more natural if you got 30 instead of 3. Yes, I know it sounds super nitpicky, and maybe it's just me.

I think skills as a term almost implicitly brings “activates” to the table. Maybe you should use a different word like perk?

That's correct, Jason! Skills are all passives and do not charge during combat.

@@Detlevboi to be fair it's morphed into an autobattler now, and people are ready for that. We only have a few good autobattlers and the market could use another good one
There is NO game on earth that is perfectly balanced and there never will be..... Even Tic Tac Toe is NOT balanced
You should make the monster only skills have a special color around the border or something so players know when it is a skill they can not obtain. Even something subtle and not explained. This allows you to still reveal hidden or hard to find skills via monster battles. i.e give the player something to chase to figure out how to get a weird skill. I know if it was myself and I was playing and I saw a weird skill I never saw on a monster with no distinction if I can get it or not I would always assume if it seems broken I can not get it. It will make it less exciting.

Very interesting, stuff like this adds tons of variety to the game, kinda reminds me of the treasure mechanic in storybook brawl, hopefully we'll see more gameplay streams showcasing these mechanics

Been excited for the game to come out and I hope to be there on day one. But what was the point of this video? I look forward to these videos each week but for the last several it's been mostly a waste of time.

Do you have any people on your team who are not white men? Especially on the art side. Because I'm concerned about what kind of biases such a homogenous team will bring to the game.

On the art side I definetely remember an Europea white girl, doing a art spotlight video. The devs in the other hand are all white dudes.
