I love Greg, he is so authentically himself. I love seeing the little sparks of his creativity in these videos. I think Dooley will be my first character!
The Heat mechanic is cool conceptually, but I don't see it working too well in a non-interactive system like The Bazaar. You can't be like "Oh no this is too much heat, I need to be careful with my actions" since everything goes off automatically during combat.
Not sure but It seemed like if you were over heating you might just bleed damage onto your character so if you were off slightly with your heat management your build would perform inefficiently in battle. It would be more like a consideration to take when assembling your build. I think there are plenty of ways to approach it though.
So what direction did you go? Core or heat mechanism? I think the Core sounds more interesting since it taps into the "control for late game power" archetype. But maybe that overlapped another character already or what?
is dooley Bound to use the core? is there a way where you can play without using it so much? we ve seen jules and stelle can play without any joy/feed or altitude at all... thats what raises a concern for dooley to be bound to play with core, aka the CoreBuild everytime as for heat mechanic i imagine sth like LoL's Rumble that gets stronger on more heat but once maxing threshold he get stunned till cool off or even DIE?
Why the hell this game and channel not blowing up? Look a tad too ambitious but really great. But on the other hand maybe hype is bad for this type of games. Anyways really hope this game will have success!
I kinda like the heat mechanic more. Core doesn't sound that unique, it's just another item. And it feels like it pushes you to picking the upgrade core option every time you can, which limits choice.
Mechanics is fine... and mechanism has the same issue. It has the potential to be confused with part of his robotic nature rather than an aspect to his playstyle.
