The excitement is so great. You can tell when you're talking about getting ready, its like a kid on Christmas Eve. Those conditions are insane. I've been thinking about a Japan trip ever since I saw your first videos of your trip. How much language do you have to know or should I know before I head over? Just curious.
That's funny.. same thing happened to me at the Sapporo (Chitose) airport. Plane got in late and I missed my bus connection. Got booted from the airport at midnight with no place to go in the middle of a snowstorm. Luckily a nice cop (who spoke no English) seemed to know what's up and pointed me to an onsen where I was able to get warm and spend the night sleeping in a lazyboy. So stoked you and the boys are back in Japan. Can't wait for all the J-Cvlogs!
I'll be there for my 3rd trip to Japan on the 14th Feb. 9 days on the slopes, hoping this 67yo body can keep up with the younguns still. Great to see there's so much snow. I reckon you'll be back home by the time I get there. You should make the trip to NZ next Southern Hemisphere Winter. I went last August, and will be going again this year. Perfect exchange rates for $US. Magic surf as well.
