It's basically candy pacifier.
I thought it was meant to be under your actual mask since it is shaped like that and is smaller. You can still breathe from your nose while sucking on it under the mask.

“a demonstration” got me really good. i screengrabbed and it may be my new twt header 😂 we have something similar in america, from way prior to pandemic! it was the exact same concept as the mask-pop except rather than a mask, it was a set of big lipstick-red lips! thinking back on it now i can see why you don’t really see them in stores any longer…

I still see the lipstick pops but they're vampire lips (more sold during halloween obviously)
They sell these in many countries, along with some that come in a pacifier/dummy. I'm in the UK and I'm yet to see the mask though; seeing how many anti-mask contrarians we had over here during the pandemic, I can't imagine they would be very popular!

I've picked a few bags of those cola chips up at my local international market before. Stood out because of the dog. Read the label translation and thought to myself, "Why not? Might as well grab two and take one to work." They weren't bad at all. Definitely different. Some people at work wouldn't even try them. Shame. Worth a try if you ever see them.
i think the worst chips ive ever had was the lychee lays chips. they tasted like sweet floral perfume to me, not good at all to my taste buds 😭 none of my friends liked them either
Personally don't think I'd like the cola chips but I'd give it a try before saying no

Ahh yes, natto. It's one of my favorites. At first you wouldn't really like it because of the texture, but once you get used to it, it's actually so good. Natto is a snack for me.

@@Fckthsht2 It's actually hard to describe. It's salty kind of earthy, but it taste like soy sauce if you put one. The smell is very funky but idc really.

I'm Canadian, and my local international foods supermarket has banana snacks. They taste fine but are very, very sweet.
The cola flavored chips sounds weird but surprisingly tasted good 😅

What is weird is "Food safety guaranteed" in all caps in front of the package. You see something like that in the west and the only tought would be " that cant be safe, stay away from it, why would they mention their food is safe like that? what are they hiding?"

@@controlledsingularity8084 Those aren't really too weird to me. I normally see "Food safety guaranteed" on a daily bases. Plus, it's normally there to assure the consumer about their safety, which can also help with their sales and make their product seem professionally handled. Although sometimes the "Food safety guaranteed" isn't always true.

Love to see all the weird and wonderful food items from other countries. The thing I can’t get over is all the unnecessary packaging that goes with it. So much waste.
It is scary and limits the fun factor. It's mostly processed junkfood wrapped in even more junk. Can't imagine how many tonnes of landfill waste this adds up to every single day.

Says more about you people than the candy really. I've never seen a mask-shaped one, but candies shaped like pacifiers/teethers have been around since forever. And unless you're stuffing everything (mask and all) into your mouth, it's as much of a choking hazard as a regular lollipop. There's usually some plastic or wire inside that anchors the candy.

I actually bought the banana buns at the Asian store not too long ago! I say check out your local Asian grocery store, you might find some interesting snacks there even if they don’t carry the banana or potato buns

I'm an American and I have always loved the chicken wing tips. It's my favorite bit.
Smart idea yet bad at the same time for the mask candy. Sure it definitely promotes the use of masks especially during this time of year.

I'm not sure how you can class that as a choking hazard. Here in England we have ones that look like actual baby dummies (unless you call them pacifers if you're not from england)... and they taste like really delicious strawberries. They've been around for years and years, most commonly seen at the seafront, in amusement parks (called a theme park if american etc.) or at a funfair (called a travelling carnival if american)

They have had those lollipops for years, just with lips instead different a mask shape. If choking was happening, I sure we all would have heard about it by now and they would have to get rid of them and cancel the products.
@@imogenlaci-mai here in the US they come with animsl faces too. Like bunny noses or horse teeth. They are quite funny and there is usually a stick/support running through the candy. Maybe that is what the commenter was worried about? But we have the binky (what our family called dummies)ones also and there is one that comes with a baby bottle full of sour candy powder that the bottle nipple ,which is the candy, gets dipped into.

I really like hoshi natto. Because it is dried it is easier to learn to appreciate the flavor of natto if you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with the texture of natto.
I was able to learn to eat regular natto that way, though I still can't eat alot at once time.

I actually get those hawthorn candies a lot here in the US! Theres a Chinese market near my house that carries them, theyre a really good blend of sweet and sour

I personally love Natto. I live in a part of the U.S where it is hard to come across. I like eating the beans with the sauce packets alone. Like a little snack. I think Natto with rice would taste a bit off-putting, because of the two grain-like substances mixed together with different textures. Maybe try just eating it alone with the sauce and no rice.
He or she has tried it alone in a different video and they didn't care for it at all.

Some people at it as a snack, a LOT of people eat it with rice. I think it helps people that don't like the strong fermentation flavor. I -ate- tried it with just the sauce and I couldn't get past it, but I intend to work up the courage to try again but this time with rice!

Few people do enjoy chicken wing tips, although personally, I prefer them crispy; steamed versions don't taste as good, at least for me. Wouldn't blame anyone if they have the same ideas.
I too am a wing tip muncher but I find that they make a wonderful chicken stock. Full of gelatin and it makes it so rich feeling/tasting.

I just moved to a actual city in Canada and went to an Asian Market to buy my groceries. I ate a bun with red bean paste as I was walking and I stopped walking as it was heavenly. I don't know why I don't like the English food of my heritage, but I hate it, and have lived my life virtually starving.....Haven't had nato yet, but I'm betting I'll like it better than boiled turnips.
