Was in section 59 of the upper deck in JHS on Nov 30th, 2013. Chris Davis hit the 50 and that place went ballistic. We partied in that stadium for the better half of an hour after that knowing we were going to Atlanta. Although, the loudest I’ve heard JHS was Florida in ‘06. War Eagle!
Three definitely worth consideration... Billy Mills sprint finish in the 10,000 meter 1964 olympic race making him the only American to win at the distance, Franco Harris's immaculate reception in the 1972 AFC divisional playoff game, and Doug Flutie's Hail Mary against Miami in 1984.
The second Blain started his number 1, I knew what it was. I remember exactly where I was when that happened. My parents and I were putting up the Christmas decorations and I went inside for a minute to see what was happening in the game and that happened
I'm a college football fan the play that got me hooked was the Flutie to Phelan Hail Mary in 1984. I was 7 years old and knew pretty much nothing about football at the time. In fact, my dad had to explain to me that it didn't matter that the clock had run out because BC snapped it with time left.
I’m an Eagles fan, so my top three has two plays from Super Bowl 52. 1) Philly Philly. Such an incredible moment and iconic play call, best and most gutsy choice with 1 play left in the half to go for it and such a wild trick play. 2) The greatest show on turf and the longest yard. Titans falling 2 feet short of being Super Bowl champions and the only ring that arguably the best roster in NFL history ever got. 3) BG’s strip sack of Tom Brady in SB52. I thought for sure Tom Brady was going to do what he did best and the game was a done deal. And then a legend, an underdog in his own right, the exact emblem of Philadelphia came bursting off of that edge and won his team, nay his city the Super Bowl. Absolutely unforgettable
I know this is a smaller moment, but one of the most enjoyable moments in Sports ever was when FBS Appalachian State beat #5 Michigan. opening up the Big Ten Network🤌
I will say I know its recent but I think Pat Mahomes gutting it out and running 20 yards on a bum ankle vs the Eagles is gonna go down as a classic moment.
My most memorable moment was in NASCAR tbh. It was the when Dale Jr. came back to Daytona in the fall of '01 and walked the dog crap outta everybody to win at the same track that took his father just months before.
The miracle on ice is the greatest sports moment. People don’t realize just how good that Soviet team was. They beat an NHL all star team 6-0. Then they faced an amateur US hockey team. These were basically all college kids playing grown men who were better than many hall of fame NHL players. The next greatest is Jesse Owens beating the nazis in the Olympics Finally yes the 2008 4x100m men’s freestyle swim. That gave Phelps the record 8 gold medals and also is the greatest 100m split in swimming history as in there is no one who has swam 100m faster than he has.
Agreed. I was 10 years old at the time, but paid a good bit of attention to current events. The geopolitical context around the game was also a big part of what made it such an enormous win. The US was in the depths of Jimmy Carter's malaise, we were a few months into the Iran hostage crisis, and the Soviets had just invaded Afghanistan. Most people forget that this wasn't even the gold medal game. Even then, it was almost an afterthought that we still had another game to play.
I haven't cared about sports that aren't Boxing/MMA in like a decade. Holy shit was I pumped for these lists. So glad I saw y'all with Knowles. Fantastic Americana right here.
Game one 1988 World Series. Bottom of the 9th, two outs, and man on first. Oakland ahead 4-3. Dodgers send Kirk Gibson to the plate to pinch hit. With a full count Gibson hits a walk off homer over the right field fence. Dodgers win 5-4.
If I have to stick with just events i witnessed myself. Top 3 would be Pucketts game 6 walk off in 91, Pettys last race in 92 which was also one of the greatest races of all time and Osborne finally winning a national title w/Nebraska in 94.
I think Cone had the best list simply because he went with the ones he remembered most and I feel like everyone’s lists has to be different for this. My top 3 3. Super Bowl 34, 1 yard short. It was a heartbreaker, I loved that Titans team. 2. MSU vs U of M 2001, Jeff Smoker to TJ Duckett on 4th down after spiking it with 1 second left to win 26-24. 1. 1998 Detroit Red Wing win The Stanley Cup & present it to Vladimir Konstantinov.
The game 7 sharks against golden nights has to be up there! Vegas up 3-0 with less than 10min remaining in game. Vegas gets a 5min penalty on an unfortunate hit on pevelski, which never should’ve been called. Sharks score 4 on the power play and win in 5-4 in OT! One of the best moments in sports I’ve ever seen!
my top three are kinda the same with 3 it was team us beating france second is tiger woods winning the 2019 masters and third is argentina beating france in the world cup to give messi his first world cup win
The greatest moment in sports history will always be when Bill Mazeroski crushed a home run over the right field fence too walk-off game 7 of the 1960 World Series for the Pittsburgh Pirates. The combined record of the Pirates throughout the decade of the 50's was the worst in baseball, whereas the Yankees record had been the best. The Pirates had been smoked in all their losses that World Series, and had just squeaked out their wins. Truly a David vs Goliath series, although both rosters had their share of HOF players. Maz's home run can never be replaced as the greatest moment in baseball.

I remember watching that Texas vs. USC game as a a kid

Davis needs to watch monk. He literally quoted it without even knowing. “It’s a blessing and a curse.”

I watched the entire video just cause I knew I would get to see the Kick Six again
I know this is a smaller moment, but one of the most enjoyable moments in Sports ever was when FBS Appalachian State beat #5 Michigan. opening up the Big Ten Network🤌
That 200 butterfly where Phelps out touched to win the Gold
As soon as I heard 2013, I skipped to the end of the video. Still hurts too much
The call on the 2008 Phelps clip is awesome. I dont care about swimming. But its top 5 to me.
Tebow's 2008 locker room halftime speech
2008 Olympics was huge for me. 3 generations of my family all watching together every night to see if Phelps could get the record, so awesome.
The last real great Olympics IMO.
I'm older than you guys. 1) Miracle on Ice, 2) Gibson's walk off hr, 3) for personal reasons, Cowboys SB 27 victory.
I will say I know its recent but I think Pat Mahomes gutting it out and running 20 yards on a bum ankle vs the Eagles is gonna go down as a classic moment.
Santonio didn’t get 2 feet down, the second foot landed on his other foot. You’ll never change my mind
The immortal Milo Hamilton: "It's gone! It's 715! There's a new home run champion of all-time, ..... and it's Henry Aaron!!
Didn’t expect the nod to my favorite movie at 16:46, but I appreciated it nonetheless.
My most memorable moment was in NASCAR tbh. It was the when Dale Jr. came back to Daytona in the fall of '01 and walked the dog crap outta everybody to win at the same track that took his father just months before.
Lol
That was an awesome moment

This is the best top 10
Game 6 of the 86 World Series. And the Kick 6 is the only time I ever jumped on furniture.
Joe Montana to Taylor ! 1999 Ryder cup, Travis Ishakawa hr to win the pennant
Don’t forget, I performed in the infamous Janet Jackson Super Bowl Halftime show.
The Kick 6 is the most iconic college football play since the Cal V Stanford “band is on the field play!!!!
2007 September 1st Michigan game
Jesse Owens has to make the list.
The Camback has to be up there too for me.
I haven't cared about sports that aren't Boxing/MMA in like a decade. Holy shit was I pumped for these lists. So glad I saw y'all with Knowles. Fantastic Americana right here.

Blain comin clutch with the kick 6
The Kick 6 was the perfect birthday present for myself given to this LSU Fan by Saban ( our former Natty winning Coach) 11/30/1979 is my D.O.B.
If I have to stick with just events i witnessed myself. Top 3 would be Pucketts game 6 walk off in 91, Pettys last race in 92 which was also one of the greatest races of all time and Osborne finally winning a national title w/Nebraska in 94.
Eh, the Piazza HR in the FIRST ny sports game after 9/11 ws way better than bush throwing out a ceremonial pitch
I think Cone had the best list simply because he went with the ones he remembered most and I feel like everyone’s lists has to be different for this.
My top 3

Boise State vs Oklahoma
That wasn’t even the most memorable part of the 2008 Olympics 😂😂😂😂😂

Wheres the Kelee Ringo psix vs Alabama
😂😂😂😂
Lol Georgia fan thinks he’s relevant🤣🤣
@donovan8494 We're also talking about specific moments, not specific players smh
How on God’s green Earth did not one of you pick 11/2/2016, Game 7, 10th inning after a rain delay, the Chicago Cubs ended a 108 year drought???!!!
I’d nominate Dave Woddle’s epic comeback in the 800m race in the 1972 Olympics
These were all decent lists if you rename it "Most Memorable US Sports Moments"
The game 7 sharks against golden nights has to be up there! Vegas up 3-0 with less than 10min remaining in game. Of all time? No way. Not even in the year or month it happened
My top 3 kick 6 auburn Alabama the blue grass miracle with lsu and Kentucky and the boise state vs Oklahoma in the fiesta bowl
Ronda getting head kicked for a KO
For me personally it's the UGA pick 6 to clinch the Natty, the worst 2, 28-3 and Tua OT TD.
Great video
my top three are kinda the same with 3 it was team us beating france second is tiger woods winning the 2019 masters and third is argentina beating france in the world cup to give messi his first world cup win
Tiger woods at the masters with the chip in on 16
It’s Kick 6 or the Miracle on Ice.
Definitely the Miracle
ROLL TIDE!!!!!!
Top3 without jesse Owens 4 golds in nazi germany?

I am biased, but the Philly Special is up there for me. But also, I would rank the Malcolm Butler interception up at the top.
4th and 5 baby ..VY
