Lovely rose jumper you have, Claire!🌹🧥
I’m sorry Ireland got beat. I know how important this season was, and I’m sad for ya dear. But you and Alex have had some wonderful adventures together and those are times that will long be remembered. I’m so glad to see Alex is finally “letting his hair down” and having a bit of craic in these last several videos though. He is genuinely hilarious and you two are so made to be together. May God bless ya both always, and here’s hoping that Ireland brings it home next year. 💖
I was also teared up, especially knowing this was Johnny Sextons last match. I wish him the very best and I might add, that was one hellova game!!!
It’s weird being born Scottish from Irish parents, I always say I support Ireland in rugby and Scotland in football.
It’s hard when they play each other no matter the sport, I’m always conflicted !
I think I would be too.
I’ve tried a few meal delivery companies and I think Hello Fresh is the best one. I’m glad they branched out over there and England so you can partner with them too. It makes life easier for sure.
Love your necklace Claire. To add, glad you and Alex had a lovely time watching the game in Paris, felt for ya when Ireland lost.
Proud of you when cooking #HelloFresh.
We have an office in Cork and I was telling the company they should be watching Rugby - the rascals are all NFL - Bah!! Being a Canuck our team didn’t qualify for the Men’s - but the Women’s is where it is at - all spirit as strong and touch as mama bears.
Alas - terribly sorry about the loss - the match was epic.
Your energy, even in defeat, is amazing! Thanks for the great video.
I was at a wedding where about half the guests were Irish and everyone was checking the score regularly, but one guest just left the reception before dinner was over to watch the match and never came back
I am sorry you all lost but I am a big fan of new Zealand
You and Alex have the best trips to play or watch sport ever! I just watched some InvictaFC MMA in Boston tonight and a girl from Dublin won a championship and earlier on a girl from Donegal had fight but lost...great night...but not as great as this video. Also, I thought was cool that you guys were on the street outside Corcoran's at least if not inside. I went to Paris in '06 and saw Man U vs Liverpool in that pub and it was packed to the rafters inside!
Great scenes in Paris 😀The locals weren't so pleased 😂
This feels like going to an american college football game
I remember standing in a restaurant in Shannon when the Irish Rugby team walked in, possibly a college team. My son is 6ft 5 & 260 lbs but looked like a child compared to them!
It was heartbreaking - like you Clare I thought we could go all the way this time, I really did😢😢
💔😭
That veritable sea of green, all united in support of their team, is absolutely beautiful to see! I'm not much of a sports fan, but I am a huge fan of sports fans when they come together. The energy, the vibe, the anticipation, gives me goosebumps!
I'm the exact same but never could figure out how to put it into words. Although having said that, you explained it and put it into words perfectly. It's almost as if it's electric with all the positive energy and singing, energy, dancing, drinking, and just the overall atmosphere is absolutely amazing.
Another brilliant video. Looked like you both had a great time together. Love New Zealand, but am sad Ireland lost, so believe me I do feel for you.
Blessings,❤.
But you see - your country plays such fantastic rugby. I could tell you more names of Ireland players than any other team. I was spoiled watching Ronan O’Gara, Paul O’Connell, Keith Earls, Peter Stringer, the big tall O’Callahan fella, Brian O’Driscoll, Rob Carney, Leo Cullen, Cian Healy…. Such fantastic players.
The match commentators for Ireland are top notch too - so I know you’ll be winning a Men’s World Cup soon.
Donncha O'Callaghan - that’s tallest great big grin I’d ever seen pop up and catch a line out. Then Devin Toner of course - I can never remember Peter O’Mahoney’s last name so I cheated and googled him. My former manager is from Cork so I’d ask him about Munster and then try and get his goat by asking if they’d beaten Leinster lately. I really gotta ask for an office transfer. Cheers - let’s see how the Ireland Women’s team do!
Your lucky to be there in person. Not just one but both games. I'm envious. I bet the tickets, travel and sleeping arrangements are costly though.
It wasn’t cheap for sure 💔 had been saving for over a year!
That was a tough one for sure. Made me homesick hearing all the songs.
Another great video. When I heard the Rugby fans singing The Fields of Athenry, it made me think of a very strange experience I had on the New York City A train. I was headed home from work(it might have been a Friday). At one of the lower Manhattan stations about thirty lads get into the car. They must have all worked for the same company. I'm guessing financial workers. Every last one of them was dressed in khaki pants and shirts. Most of them were in their 20's or 30's. The train doors close and they all start singing Wonderwall by Oasis. They sung it the same way the Rugby fans were singing. I picked up an accent but couldn't be sure if it was British or Austrailian . I think I still have a copy of the video I took. The rest of the train didn't know what to make of it.
They're singing "When You Say Nothing At All", it'll be great if they sang "My Lovely Horse".
As a South African, I wish we were playing you guys tomorrow because if it can't be us, I'd be ok if Ireland won the world cup! Hopefully next time 💪
Being crammed on the subway like that would be my actual nightmare.
Sorry for your loss.😢
Have fun with the cooking! Maybe people could send you recipes
Oooooooh I’d be keen on that idea
@@Clisare Holland! Got tons. Make flan in your sleep...
The AB's deserved that game the last phase was unbelievable
Damit!! Come on, Ireland. 😔🙏🙏💪💪💜💜🇮🇪🇮🇪💜💜
I’m kind of excited… 30 days till VLOGMAS!!!
Wanna see the full Irish Christmas Experience!!!
Sorry your boys lost. I hope you are both well and better luck next time
Its held every 4 years
Well then better luck in four years from now. Geez dude take a deep breath.
5:12 haha again 😄😄
I'm sorry Ireland lost but man, that looked like such a fun experience!
2:05, they're dressed like The Riddler.
As a South African i was quite sad that Ireland lost against New Zealand
Ireland definitely had one of the best teams in the world cup and I really thought they would end up in the finals
Did not expect New Zealand to win .
Didn't think we'd win the thing but really thought we'd get past the quarters
definitely put a damper on my day after watching. I too really though this was the year.
We 🇦🇷 had our hopes completely crushed by the All Blacks at the semi finals. It was kind of tantalising, the though of winning another big World Cup, and in French territory. But, hey, we gave it a shot.
Hello Fresh got their money's worth.
That ad was excellent.
Thank you so much! 🥹
Hello from Texas
"You're hungover coming down from the Effiel Tower."
It'll be like that scene in Barry McKenzie Holds His Own where Barry vomits from the top of the Tower all over two men. 🤮
"I'm gonna cry Ruth!"
❤❤❤❤❤
Good heavens -- when I saw the video title along with the broken heart and teary face in your thumbnail, I thought something had happened between you and Alex. I've never been so happy to be wrong!!! It looks like you two had a great time in Paris, even if Ireland didn't make it past the quarterfinals. The communal experience of being with a big group of fans is really special. If you care to share, where did you stay in Paris and how would you rate it?
Terrible! I did not like Paris one bit. I stayed around Place De Clichy, once in the Ibis and once in 29-something and the latter was a hole and the Ibis wasn’t much better. Would not recommend, honestly! €8 for a coffee. Biarritz, on the other hand… we visited and I’d move there in a heartbeat. Gorgeous surfing town… we stayed in Milady. Loved it
@@Clisare Thanks for the quick reply. That's been my experience with Paris hotels, too; it's really hard to find a nice one at a halfway reasonable price. There's a YT channel called Les Frenchies; it's a married couple (American wife, French husband) based in Paris and they seem to offer some solid tips on hotels and restaurants. It might be worth checking out their recommendations should you have occasion to go back.
@@Clisareyes as a American I’ve watching the Rugby World Cup as such I feel that Irish rugby has made strides ( a lot more than America has ( I mean we didn’t even make the tournament which we shoulda then I wouldn’t have to hear NBA fans in my state ( California ) but here’s the good thing that it’s New Zealand and South Africa you root for the team that beat you ( yes I know the springboks are the current world champs and it’s BLASPHEMY to root for New Zealand ) but it gives you a since of unwarned pride to know how good the country has been
(Saladene here) We missed you with no stream today. Thank you and 👍 for this vid. Hope all is well in 'Fangiiiirls' hehe 🧡🍂🎃💀
Hellooo! So sorry🥲I need to go back to uploading on Sundays cause I keep spending the day trying to make final edits on the video and then don’t get time to stream! 😩
Understandable. Hope you return to Sunday upload so we can see you soon.@@Clisare
If it happens again you have to do a Haka live on stream.
Cliceáil bhaoite craic, Clare, just a brilliant thumbnail! Glad you went to all those games, the atmosphere must have been stupendous. I watched on peacock, but there's nothing like being at the game. Sad for the loss to the kiwis, it was the late penalty that did 'em in. And sad for no more Johnny Sexton in the next next world cup, but he did just announce he'll be ready for Six Nations come spring! Slàinte Mhath☘😎Happy Samhain
Hey there Ms Clare. I recall that sometimes in sports the Republic and the North play together in a combined Team Ireland. Is it that way with Rugby for the World Cup, or is it just the Republic? Sorry it ended the way it did, but it looks like you had a good time "En France" both times. Will we see more of the trips to France it upcoming videos? Thank you for all you do for all of us! ~Be Blessed
Unites Ireland in rugby, that’s why we sing Ireland’s call instead of the anthem when playing away from home (we play both at home)
@@Clisare Awesome. Thanks for the clarification and the quick response!
Love Clare. Slán slán.
Well, once again, you made me cry over a sport I know nothing about. I reckon my Irish DNA just wakes the fuck up whenever I click on your videos.
I am sorry you didn't win. Thought it was the best game ever. No matter the score you had a good time.👍♥️
Sorry about the match results. It appears that you and Alex had a good time despite it, though.
for sure claire i was so sure the ireland rugby dream was coming home but think the irish rugby girls are going to win the Olympics in France
Growing up in the States, I didn't grow up with rugby, but my sister played in college so I understand it a little bit.
I'm sorry you didn't make it to a win. I wish we had more rugby🏉 and FIFA football here in the ⚽️ States.
Lol completely off topic but I love Athenry! ❤😂
Yeah it's too bad they lost but don't be upset because you love the game no matter what & there's always next year 🇮🇪
Not a sports fan. Ireland has so many non-sports reasons for world-greatness -- writers, singers, actors, directors, comedians, storytellers, all the Tryers of the Try Channel, inventors and developers of diverse alcoholic beverages and, of course, Clisare the UA-cam Journalist. Hi, Millie!
"The food" is notably absent from that list 😅
You need a new dream at a new higher level.
Conas a deir tú "We'll get 'em next year!" as Gaeilge?
I don't know but I just thought that I'd let you know that the rugby world cup is like football and only happens every 4 years but at least it gives them longer to practice I guess 😅🤔
Gheobhaimid an bua an bhliain seo chugainn ;)
Ireland's my team
How's it going?
Pretty good how are you?
Is rugby comparable to baseball in America in terms of how important it is to the culture and population or is it more niche?
I would say it is gaining in popularity but still more niche, and more popular in the towns and cities than the country. GAA would be the culturally important sport that everyone grows up with all over the country.
Minnesota Vikings, champion of the world in disappointment.
A Chef designed the menu . You can read and follow directions.
As a non-fan outsider, I'm just bored that it's New Zealand vs. South Africa yet a-fucking-gain. At least other World Cups offer you upsets on the way to a victory, obvious or not (like Morocco's miracle run last year at the men's World Cup last year and the Women's World Cup this year, Germany going all the way at the Basketball World Cup this year over the likes of the USA and Spain, teams like Czechia getting historic results at the World Baseball Classic, etc). New Zealand vs. South Africa is the most obvious final match-up I could've guessed before a single game was played this time around, and sure enough...
(If you haven't started following Australian football, I think you'd totally fuck with it. I'm from NYC so I'm even further distanced from it, but boy is it fun to watch.)
Ngl, even as a Kiwi I would've loved to have seen France or Ireland win the World Cup this time around. Shame they had to meet such tough teams in the quarter-finals. Those match-ups would've been epic in the semi-finals.
Thanks. So sad.
How bout videos not about rugby.. We all enjoyed the trips back home, to the island,to the bars(still can't get past 5.5 hours drive time will get one from anywhere in Ireland to anywhere else in Ireland one wishes to be).. And of course we love love love videos of pretty Irish ladies... 😍 😂😅 😁
I’ve loads of videos not about rugby on the channel!
You do realise that this comment comes across as really harsh and rude towards Claire I don't know if you meant it to or not though so I just thought that I'd let you know
Hi
Oh you got me. damn you click bait!
NOBODY I have ever seen, could defeat the all blacks
As a Kiwi, this tickles me a little. Better luck next time
It always sucks to lose to a far inferior team
@@jeramy576 BOOM ... feel better now?
Oh, but they know. Right, Rosie? Only they still "mis-know". But everybody else knows. Is it time to commit CBS?
Sports gives us unity and reprieve from the everyday. As they say, it is better to love and lost than to never love at all! Boomer Sooner!
Why is this in my feed?
: )
I keep thinking you guys broke up, you keep stressing me out with your Description
Why is that what everyone jumps to 😂😂
I'd wager those Kiwis have full on Irish DNA ..so we got knocked out by ourselves by proxy so? Looking for cold comfort...😢
i am sad Ireland is out of rugby
When was the last time the all blacks lost?
First game of the rugby World Cup to France, so 3 games beforehand? And we were on a 17 game win streak including two games against them.
Your criminal careers and legacies?
What do you mean by criminal careers and legacies? It's a very random comment and doesn't make any sense
I was not a big fan of the southern hemisphere friendly refereeing
“Don’t tell Alex I can cook like this.” Clisare… If he sees your videos… He knows. And if he asks you for soy sauce after you cook one of these amazing meals, tell him to f**k off. Adding any sauce to a meal is an insult to the chef.
Looks like an absolutely horrible experience.
I enjoyed it 😂😂
Why do you think that it looks horrible if you don't mind me asking?
What the hell
Please DON’T do these Hellofresh commercials! Nobody needs this BS … 🤦♂️
People come here to listen to your stories, not to see another commercial about a company which already floods all kinds of media with their own commercials!
I totally get your frustration. However, please keep in mind that I need to make enough money to pay my bills and cover the costs of the content that I make. especially when road tripping around Ireland, doing tours and activists and staying in Airbnbs for videos - I can’t do all that off Patreon alone currently. I wish I could, but until I can I need to take some sponsorships. I turn down a lot of sponsorships for things that I don’t genuinely love, and this is something that I really do love and am more than happy to promote for that reason. Feel free to skip the segments if they’re not for you, but again please understand that I provide so much content for free but it certainly isn’t free to produce.
i'm sorry, but who the f is watching rugby?
Me! And about 60,000 other Irish in this stadium alone 😂
I feel your pain little lady our local baseball team has not been to the World Series since 2011, damned if they didn't fool us all and they are going this year so fingers crossed they win. Yes your live stream "Cooking with Clare" was grand, loved every moment of it. Look out someone will be doing more cooking than Sunday morning pancakes. LOL Surpised ya'll didn't turn giong up or down the Eiffel Tower into a race. Best to all as always, extra scritches for Miss Millie since she did not get to attend the match.
He's gonna start with demandng streaky bacon with the pancakes
No she already makes him American style pancakes and bacon video showing it on Clares channel@@LindaC616
