Thanks for the video. Your comments sold me on the SSC2 Pro yellow ditch lights to go with the SS3 Pro yellow fogs. They are running a 4th of July 20% sale on both. They'll go great with my 30" Diode Dynamics amber combo light bar.
Great video! I'm in for a long haul on the waiting list for these lights they are having a 8-12 week backorder. They also offer lenses and covers for the lights so you can change out between amber and clear.
Put the mounting bolt up through the hood bracket then through the light bracket (nut on top rather than bottom) to be able to turn the lights. Might need/want to cut 1/4'" or so off the bolt length. Fringe benefit: won't snag your hand or rag on bolt while hand washing the vehicle.
@@SolaOutdoors LOL I'm sure you don't need anymore overlanding points, think you got that covered. Saw a pretty sweet lifted Ranger yesterday when I went to town picking up new wires for my winch.
I need ALL the points haha! I'm starting to see more and more of them in my neck of the woods, too. What are you needing new wires for? Got corrosion in the last set?
@@SolaOutdoors no when I originally mounted my winch the control box you plug into was mounted to the winch and I saw an issue if I’m suck in the mud trying to find the plug and hook it up inside the bumper so I moved the control box on top of my bumper for easy access but the wires that come on the winch are to short so I had to buy longer wires to do so.
That's going to look awesome, can't wait to see it! I heard they're currently on back order, but I'm sure you can find them somewhere if you look hard enough
Things I don't like No copper board Small traces Crappy seal No RF shielding Rear heat sink has NO thermal transfer Board has NO conformal coating LED chip lends is too narrow LED chip selection CRI not adequate The collector and refractor all in one is prone to over heating the LED chip. This video is what I was looking for! I’m new to auxiliary lighting and it is really daunting. This video was so informative. Liked. Subscribed.

Would be nice if we had a bracket or adapter plate to mount a C1/2 on the side and have two different beam patterns on the same install.
Awesome video I'd like to see where you put the switches for all your lights please
A comparison would be super !
Great video, super helpful . Thanks for sharing

Nice video, those lights look sweet.
Thanks man, we're happy with them. They give extra overlanding points, too! Lol

🎶 blinded by the light…
I keep meaning to order these in amber fogs. Nice review!
I'd say that's the right way to go with these! Especially if you plan on using them in high humidity or inclement weather
@@SolaOutdoors they're going on the bumper next to my SS3 Pro's :)
