I have a 2019 Tundra and love Toyota but i will not buy the 2022+ unless they address the front grill. It is such a disgusting look and i shouldn't have to paint a $50-60k truck right from the dealer just to make it tolerable. I don't know what Toyota was thinking, they spent millions on R&D and the best design they could come up with is this front end? They person who green-lit this grill design should be fired immediately.
Best way to fix that Tundra, the wheel/tire size looks perfect, and that front is so much better than stock, you took a mess of a factory front end and made it look great! I think people who don't like the front end of their tundra could actually think about buying one now because you made it look correct! Great work!
Great job man keep the vids coming. Video skills will come with time. IMO 35’s or 295’s are the best setup with this truck. Color match is a game changer for this one.
Been watching your videos on these toyota trucks awhile now. I can honestly say your business seems very honest and you and your workers do quality work. Keep doing what you do, do not ever cut corners, and your company will grow. I am in PA and would not have any issue sending my truck to you for your magic.
Thank you!🙏. I love what I do so it makes it easier to do the quality work that our customers deserve. Thank you for noticing and following along our journey.
When i get a Tundra, I will definitely be driving from California to you to have the lift installed. This truck looks prefect and I currently have similar Methods and those same tires on my Tacoma. Nice work on this Tundra.
I have this color, methods and Toyo R/T’s on my 2017 Platinum Pro. It was tricky but looks sooooo good. Just don’t ask about mpg’s… I did TRD Pro suspension, total chaos UCA’s, coachbuilder TRD pro 1” lift kit. Gets me a total of 3” of lift. Also did a body mount relocation. I can fit any tire/ wheel combo = no rub. Nice job guys, your work looks very clean, tight and professional.
Awesome build. This is what a tundra should look like. I see some guys on UA-cam getting 17” wheels on them. Anyway you guys can do a build with 17’s? Would look amazing I bet!
I don’t like that truck myself but you guys did a very clean job looks much better your work looks great I just don’t like the truck have a blessed day
Hey Bro!!! Thanks for sharing all your experience modifying trucks. Could you also share what was the alignment set up you used with the 1794 Tundra in this same video?
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the bracket attached to the frame behind the tire that was added to pass the new crash safety standard. That bracket surely had to be removed to get the 37s installed.
We did not have to remove or modify the front corner crash tire deflector. It clears it with no problem. If the tires would not because of it we would have run a smaller tire. We do not mess with stuff when it comes to safety. This is the main reason we don’t install bracket lifts. Because you have to cut the frame and this changes the integrity of the frame and also makes it react different when in a accident. But thank you for asking.
@@westcottdesigns Interesting. I was just talking with the Tundra chief engineer about that and he wanted to run 37s, but pointed to that bracket as being the big area of concern. Are the tires offset?
Thanks for the videos, best one so far. Do you do in house painting or through a 3rd party vendor? Would you be able to paint rear bumper chrome parts as well?
Did you paint the fender trim? I could've sworn both the Platinum and the 1794 had gloss black fender trim? That looks magnetic gray metallic 1G3. If so, the celestial silver and mgm look great in combination. He should color match the handles and chrome window trim to the fender trim. Truck looks awesome! The surround and the grill look killer!
@@westcottdesigns How interesting. It looks so much better than the gloss black. Westcott Designs knocked it out of the park! The truck looks great! It drives great! One of our coworkers has a 2018 Ford Raptor with the Cobb tuner and makes 437 hp and has 37’s and we went off a 25mph roll to 100 and I had the 2 spares on the back and the rack to hold them and it was dead even it that tells you how well it runs. He was pissed!🤣
Toyota designers should have called you guys. The front looks so much better with color matched surround and lower bumper. Stock look like a giant gaping hole.
I want to know how you painted the grille? Did you take it off and just clean it really well? Also what type of paint did you use? Looks really good and I might do this to my new tundra
Where are you guys located? I have 1794 hybrid w/ AVS and i feel like you guys will the be the only shop that would do it right if i lift mine and put bigger tires.
You mentioned the offset being the best? How would a -10 vs the +10 offset differ on fit and the ride quality? I would think the -10 would just poke the tire out a little more.
What about the suspension travel if you hit a big whole off roading? Not that much room to play with but I can’t deny it looks great‼️ sitting like a Raptor now.
In this case of upward travel I think the tire being a 37” will make contact with the fender in the top before the bump stop. With a 35” it would bottom out on the bump stop before tire contact on the upper part of the fender.
I would not use the 37’s off road unless you are willing to remove the fender liners. The 35’s work great. We have some customers that are running 35’s and they get after it pretty hard. Check our Revere Overland on UA-cam he has our kit and he lives out in his Tundra traveling the country with our kit. But the kit does allow the strut to go to full compression and extension without damaging the strut the way a spacer lift will.

I’m sorry I don’t remember but we have done both since this build and works fine ether way. There is enough room for ether tire as long as the offset is correct.
It won’t be any easier. It will require the same amount of work and the lift kit works the same way. As for the factory lift. It will be installed at the hub before they go on the rail or it’s going to be a dealer installed accessory. The cost of the kit is $2995.00 plus install.
Crazy how much a little color match and some bigger tires can improve the look of this truck
