Hello Peter, Came across you channel recently. I actually have small amount of damp. Probably due to damaged kitchen drain outside leaking. What are your thoughts on using the using DRYROD treatment? As these are inserted in the mortar rather than injecting into the bricks? Plus of course adding ventilation as you say. Unfortunately we cannot leave holes between my damp wall and floor boards as MICE get in. I have cleared the mortar between the wall and the floorboards but now have a 1-inch gap for mice to get in. Hi I’m looking for a cellar in my old house old documents suggested that there was one but we haven’t found it the house used to be a pub and was built in the 1800s were could we expect to find it I have tried to find an outside entrance to one but no luck so far any ideas ?!!!
