Thanks a lot for this short, to the point video. I replaced both indicators in 5 minutes (unsing the Bison dynamic 28-LED replacement, which is infinitely better than the weak 3 LED original)! Most importantly, I did not break anything! Big hug, Paul!
Thank u so much. As a woman I found this easy enough to take off and out on. Only cost £36 in today's prices, an absolute bargain. Garages were charging me up to £60 a wing mirror to fix and MOT due next week. Thank you so much 😃😃
Thank you so much for this video, best one on here for this particular job. I followed your instructions - both indicators done in less than 20 minutes, and you saved me a bundle! Thanks again!👍
I just ordered the LED replacement part, then I'll try to follow your method. Thanks! I saved about 100GBP compared to what official Honda shop asked me :-)
Mate you are a total legend after some m0r0n in a van hit it and denied he was at fault when cutting the corner. I've replaced the casing on my one from an old faulty mirror the same colour and its as good as new. Thanks once again and you've got a new sub :)
Seems easier and less fiddly then taking the mirror out and pry with screwdrivers in holes to unclip, but also less possible to break tabs with the brute force I saw from someone i saw replacing SOD's
Nice one many thanks, a job ive got to tackle this year before the MOT. Do you know if the replacement parts are handed for a particular side or do the just flip upside down?
Just cracked my nearside indicator as some idiot in an SUV thought they'd be able to fit past two parked cars and mine on a narrow road. Looked up on forums and they all said pull off the mirror glass and fiddle around trying to undo the clips. Much easier this way with a trim removal tool! Any idea what size the torx screws are and what grease did you use? Thanks!
Chris Loftus Hi Chris, sorry I can't remember what torx size. Just buy a set it's good practice to have them ready. The grease, any grease will do as it's not near any heat, etc
TBH, you are better off taking the mirror out so you can undo/move the clips with a flat head screw driver. Forcing it the above video way you may break your clips and then you will need a new cover. Taking the mirror out only takes seconds. Also if you have not got the little tool a credit/plastic card is fine to get underneath.
You are removing the cover wrong. !. 1. remove mirror glass my lifting up from the bottom of the glass and pull glass out, mirror glass will unclip. 2. Access to the clips is now easily accessible release clips using pointy nose pliers and the back cover will come off with no damage and no risk of cracking or scratching.
DONT FOLLOW THIS you will damage the clips, you remove the mirror glass it just pulls off, then you can pop the clips from the inside with no damage. this creator shouldn't have made this video it will damage you mirror cap.
The safest and easiest way to do it rather than yanking it like other instructional videos. Thanks for this!
Thank you for posting this video! Halfords Autocentre quoted me £110 for this part and job! I did it in 5minutes 😁
A great video, I bought replacements from The Wing Mirror Company and had both replaced in under 30 minutes. Thanks Paul!!!!

Haynes manual says "remove the mirror glass first"😂😂😂😂
Surprised that the book didn't say "remove the rear seats"...😂😂😂
