Hello Ranveer Sirjee - I tried this over the weekend, and this is probably the best recipe by far!! My father loves mutton, but is very particular about the taste. As soon as he tasted the mutton, he was so happy; he smiled, and said - "this reminded me of the best mutton I have ever had - the first time that I had it in Jalgaon, when my father brought it and I started eating mutton since then." ...and he after a long time, had a hearty dinner. I must tell you that my mother left us in April due to post Covid complications, and my father has since been very somber and keeping it to himself - we have been trying to get him back to normal life, but have been struggling. This brought joy to his face and we all felt so good about it - thanks so much to you for this recipe - this gave us a recipe to bring some joy to my father - cant thank you enough sir. He typically doesnt eat nonveg for the second time, but this time, he asked himself, if there was any leftovers, and relished it again - in the same way! THANK YOU AGAIN !!
Prayers for ur Mom, may she rest in peace and may your Papa live a healthy happy life with you too. My Mom passed away too so I know how hard it is to cheer up an old man who is alone.
Bada Khana is basically a feast organized on special day such as National Holidays or Raising Day of that particular core/regiment. Soldiers and their families feast together and there is lot of celebration.
My father is currently serving in army as subedar and when his posting was in base area we all lived together in army quarters , and once or sometimes twice in a month BADA KHANA was being organised and we used to enjoy it . Not even mutton but even the veg items are mouth watering .

We Bengalis have styles of mutton curries that are unique to each household. There is mutton kosha (which is a rich, spicy and flavourful curry), then there is the Grandma’s mutton curry with potato and simple very little spices. It would be lovely to see Ranveer’s interpretation of a Bengali mutton curry. Keeping 🤞🏼

Hi Ranveer!!! Thanks for all the recipes that you have shared till date. .. Earlier I was very uncomfortable if some of my friends talked about food and how they made it.... But now after watching and cooking 70% of the recipes that you have shared my wife tells me to cook every Saturday and Sunday which I enjoy doing now .. Thanks for introducing me to the world of cooking .... And Yes.. Ranveer ne bataya tha ki ye dish banaoge to sab khush ho jayenge👍👍
Idk why watching his recipes is so therapeutic. ❤
It reminds me the "raising day" and "bada khana" in my unit. My father is an army officer and he is still serving. I'm proud of him. ❤

Keeping 🤞🏼
@DOGE different with my case though, My grandma uses a lot of spices and oil, Like if you don’t stand up from your place with a runny nose, you haven’t eaten properly😂
Sir buhat qoob uska colour koi artificial koi b itom nai natural u r perfect pakwan master superb mujhy buhat accha laga buhat pasand aya 👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️Allah aapko aur taraqi dy

Watched this despite being a vegetarian, mostly for your style- the andaaz-e-bayaan. Very refreshing and stress busting style.

Hey Ranveer...love the way your recipes are explained with the added enthusiasm and attachment u have towards food ..tried this today as a Sunday Non-Veg lunch...Everyone loved it at home😋
My family and friends love when I prepare mutton curry..but this seems to be more interesting..!! toh phr kal bannega :)
Kaisa bana mutton curry?
Haan kaisa bana.
@@aaronstone21I know this question is directed to that guy but I'll answer it.. I tried and it turned out really good.. but I made slight changes here and there..
@@sharontigga2060 Oh cool
I'll probably try it too in a few days now
And what changes did you make?
@@aaronstone21 I used cooker to cook instead of handi.. and since I was very sceptical about cooking the mutton in ghee as my family isn't used to eating that much ghee I used the mustard oil.. but towards the end I put 1 full teaspoon of ghee and 1 teaspoon of meat masala for enhancing the flavour.. It was my very first time cooking mutton and won't lie Ranveer's recipe was a bang on!
This reminded me of Saoji Nagpuri Chicken. I would love to see a recipe of that.
Dekh k hi maja aa gaya bhai .. bahot dino se dhundh raha tha aisi mast receipe... kal hi banavunga jarur... Turant subscribe aur like bhi kar diya... Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
