I have to say, as an Irishman, these two are quite a good representation of everyday Irish men.
+TheIrishninjas 100% agree
+TheIrishninjas Around our nations capital, yes.
true
racist fuck
They were so polite and thoughtful. Unlike when buzzfeed does reviews of vegan foods. Real classy gentlemen A+
I always think that vegan food is at it's best when it's not PRETENDING to be meat or dairy. When it's just being what it is, it's fine, and if properly seasoned is even tasty.
agreed!!
'PRETENDING' meat, makes meat eaters try it, it's easier to transition to vegan. People aren't necessary going vegan because they don't like animal stuff and meat (or diet) , they are mainly going vegan because of ethical reasons. So having the non cruelty-more healthy version of a dish doesn't sound bad to me at all.
I don't know, homemade burgers are amazing, and supermarket veggie hot dogs are fine. I really like those PRETENDING foods, it's a matter of taste hahahah.
fun fact about me: i LOVE most veggies but only if they are COMPLETELY RAW (srsly)
+Reisis Saputra
Thank you for making your point without being coarse and abusive.
I love how courteous, respectful and open-minded they were.
ThePolkadog much better then the vegans in the other vids they all seem closed minded but these two did good.
ThePolkadog That is because they are omnivores. They are not afraid of eating anything. That said. I give them right. In that it is not right to call food names that it is not. Why hang on to words such as chicken, when you do not want to eat it?
British sensibility.
These guys are really raising the bar at to what to expect out of Butchers.
Also they put the vegans to shame.
They aren't British.
I applaud their open-mindedness
Ed Leeson fuck of vegan
Jhon James off
lol
when attacks go wrong.. lmao
I don't think they're real butchers. They feels kind of talk intelligence.
They were really courteous & hilarious, glad they went in with open minds :D
I noticed that too. I loved that they didn't immediately hate something and criticized everything.
+Valentine Amoretti Butchers are basically a kind of chefs. I'd ask a butcher for tips on a vegan diet before an average vegan any day (no disrespect to the average vegan).
+Valentine Amoretti While close mindedness isn't uniquely white suburban America its where its most concentrated.
+Clemens Stubbe As a mostly vegan I might agree with you, I would say stay away from fake meat, there is really no reason to try to imitate meat, and its going to fail, as they noted over and over again in this video. You can make balanced meals without trying to replace meat, i think its just stuck in our heads that meat has to be on a plate. If i wanted a hamburger I would go out and get one, not a pale imitation.
+gisforgary "While close mindedness isn't uniquely white suburban America its where its most concentrated." Got a source for that, or is that your bigotedness and closed mindedness showing its face?
"You can make balanced meals without trying to replace meat" No, you can't actually, as proven by two independent studies done in Germany and *Australia that shows vegans and vegetarians are more prone to depression and panic attacks. Because they don't get the vitamins and minerals our body has evolved to need.
You DO NEED meat on your plate, at least once in a while.
www.dailystormer.com/vegetarianism-causes-mental-health-problems/
*Edit: Changed California to Australia, as I remembered the source for the studies incorrectly, and added a link to an article on the studies
almost every butcher i know is bald
+Anna wow Anna you must be very proud of his uniqueness!
+Anna keep on doing good work and waking people up to this fucked up world
Probably more sanitary, or just easier to keep clean.
+Anna That sounds more civilized. I have seen animal rights groups on college campuses who set out (relatively) tasty vegan dishes and show examples of sustainable design and fashion and that seems to be a much better approach. Obviously if you really have a butcher boyfriend you're open to dialogue and tolerance. And yes, PETA does seem like a shitty organization.
+Blan Z bullshit! testosterone level effects baldness, it is a signal of fertility in human nature, men go through stages of developement, if mens sperm quality peaks their level and then declines then they degrade in all attractive features -their hair quality/amount decreases as nature is signalling they are past their prime and their attraction quality to females is reflected in their loss of youthful appearance.
if you can take an anti cholesterol pill to reverse baldness in genetics and natural aging then good luck on planet simpleton with your dumbass population of :1 = you.
I liked these two men. They seem to be intelligent or at the very least, open minded. Can't say the same for some folks in the comments. Why can't we just have fun?
It's because they were raised to be aggressive that's just how our society is right now.
That's how is should be. That's how we survived all these years.
Sinkor22 calm down Skippy I can tell you copy and pasted that. now I'm not saying its good or bad I simply stated it's how it's been for years.
Sinkor22 what kind of crack are you on and where can I get some. I never claimed that it was plagiarism, rather a cut and dry response that really didn't make much sense to what I said.
sXeNerdSnuggleMinxLucy idk half the shit u just saud but dammmn son💀💀
I love how they make the vegan food look as appetizing as possible.
No it's just that vegan food lookes better with all the colors
polina banana yes and food with meat can look good if you put colors in it the cheese burger had nothing in it while the vegan had a ton
They legit got a cheap beef, bread and cheap cheese in the hamburger. no salat or anything.
Why would they wanna make it look less appetizing lol
Well they made all the no vegan food look shit^^
I tried a vegan diet once, but quickly ran out of local vegans... and I hate having to go far to hunt my meat..
Maybe try growing some, I know you wouldn't be able to grow enough but a start
+TheyCallMeGawd All you have to do is open a Whole Foods or a Sprouts. Then the Vegans will come to you!
+lolitabubbles26 lmfao 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
+TheCanadasian1 No its not, a 'strongly held belief' or a 'point of view' is not the same as a disability or the colour of your skin, one is a choice the other is not. Religion, on the other hand should be treated as an opinion....
They compliment everything other than the actual vegan substituted part. lol.
Maybe because it didn't taste as good idk?
because tofu is gross!
+Fab true but pus is grosser
Emilia Elander im vegan, I disagree, animal products are not gross, they're unethical, tofu, especially unmarinated, is gross
Fab ok thats your opinion, I didn't say it tasted gross, I agree like who dosen't like cheese for example. but I also think most* would agree with that pus and blood which milk contains and therefor lots of bacteria thats bad and unhealthy and paying for brestmilk from a mother-cow is kinda gross..
I like how they make the regular food look shitty
because vegan food is more colourful
no they gave the worst options for meat and the best appearance for vegan. look at the burgers, they could have easily used the same bun and added lettuce and it would have looked even better. instead they got the $1 burger from mcdonalds
What would you use to dress up a meat dish? Say, vegetables and salads?

oh you like it ? i bet you wouldn´t if it was made opposite ... veganism is not about open-mindness, its about how fanatic you can be .. you idiots are crazy as fuck .. eat what the hell you want a what you believe is good for you and let other people do the same ...
Taste like a borger
im laughing way more than I should.
LOL
Gloria Borger
Shade pew news!
hahahahahahahahs
these 2 guys are really chill! Good on them for actually giving it a shot, and being fair
well at least they were more honest than if this was on buzzfeed where they'd be saying "Oh my god this is so much better than a real burger, i'm turning vegan right now!"
Sots maybe they liked it though?
"A cow probably dose not like being murdered"-Butcher 2016 10 out of 10 would quote again XD
+MattPokeFan P.S I love meat
PSS you can't spell.
Rosida Andriyana uhhhh you should talk to dr Phil and get therapy
Fun Fact: Butchers eat vegetables, do you think they only eat meat?
LMAOOO
Holy shit. That's so mindblowing. It took me 10 months to process that.
obviously, their blood is full of gravy.
we do eat vegetables but it's an extremely rare amount lol
That doesn't surprise me
These guys were great, they kept an open mind and gave honest reviews.
Just at the first shot of the vegan burger / normal burger, they did everything to make the vegan one look nice, and got the flattest crappiest looking normal burger. I detect a bit of bias in the preparation!
same
to be fair the butchers don't need to be convinced of how meat tastes so the non-vegan dish is pretty much just there for the video not to help the butchers decide
+Revan Ruler exactly
Well, you know what the burgers at McDonald's look like right? Then go into a vegan restaurant and eat a vegan burger. Would look like this.
Go into a restaurant of a similar price class to the vegan one and you wouldn't find a McDonald's burger. Try to keep it equal in the price range or otherwise the entire discussion is pointless.

Why only serve meat substitutes? Vegan food is golden, but tofu meat and all that copy crap is usually pretty lousy.
Depends on how you prepare and season it.
Very true, but still a bad intro to a veggie diet.
+Patrick Winter anything is a bad intro to a vegan diet. Proven bad for you
You've never had pasta with pesto? Nacho and salsa? I don't know who has proven that eating greens is bad, but it does not dispute my point that serving people faux meat is a bad representation to vegan food.
Patrick Winter humans need meat to synthesize essential proteins and enzymes in your body that couldnt otherwise be made from plants alone. theres a reason most vegans are malnourished, but you believe whatever you want
They were fabulous
+RavensSarora your picture makes me question if you were being sarcastic...
Shadow Dragon Yours makes me hope you have really good LSD trips. I bet you've seen some shit.
+RavensSarora hahahaha
Look into the rainbow!!!! LOOK AT IT!
Shadow Dragon I see it mate, and it's beautiful
+RavensSarora +ShadowDragon This conversation is gold
The fake chicken nuggets are bomb! I think everyone should eat those, just because they are so delicious.
+Sophia Angeline I had to spend some time at a 7th day Adventist hospital and the cafeteria food (vegetarian) was about on par with most other cafeteria food I had eaten. Even the fake meat was fine (with the exception of the soy bacon - that stuff is just nasty). I don't have a lot of vegan experience though, but I don't think it would be all that bad.
Tom Leonard Yeah, I don't eat much fake meats because it all reminds me of my inner-city school lunches, but the chicken nuggets are really good. The off-brand ones are usually better than the name-brand's for some reason. I've been vegan for a few years, so I've had my experience with fake meats and the like. The only thing I eat on a regular bases is tofu, but I've liked it since I was little.
yes! not sure where you are from and if they have it everywhere, but I'm from America and we have a brand called Gardein here. Their chipotle lime "chicken fingers" are the best things on the planet.
RandomCrap I'm from the U.S., too. My favorite are the Kroger brand ones.
+Sophia Angeline We don't have Kroger in Oklahoma, at least not anywhere near me, if we do. I can't find any off brand vegetarian/vegan stuff around here.
"I feel 7% healthier" omg haha
I didn't know butchers could be so attractive
sorry but i have to... you forgot the "know"
Malte Jedstrom
Omg you're right lol
And now that all is well the UA-cam correction hero flies off in the cloudless sunset in search of another yet not corrected comment in need of his ungodly powers. And in his mind, he knows that today he has made the world a slightly less annoying world for mankind to live in.
is that attractive?! 😰
voz ew... just ew...
You didn't put any sauces on it for extra flavor?
+Rainbow Spoonie They rarely present the dishes in the most favorable light on these taste test episodes. It's not 100% their fault, but it definitely skews the results.
+Tom Leonard I've noticed that in other videos.
+Tom Leonard I think they cook the food there in the office, they had one once where they set off a smoke alarm. So they can't make everything, or it has to be brought in.
+Rainbow Spoonie A meat sauce, on top of the vegetarian item, would be interesting. See if they could still note the differences.
+Dan B. You can use a vegan sauce.
Here fellas, try this wonderful vegan meal that our chefs took 2 hours carefully preparing and making it presentable, vs. a regular meat-eaters meal that we threw at the wall and took a shit on before deep frying it and slamming it onto a plate.
Bon apetite.
Alert, butthurt vegan incoming.
Get some protein, mate.
+The Third Nerd Chicken!!!!!! lol Damn good meat.:)
+The Third Nerd I think you're missing what he's saying.. He's arguing the meat-eater side of it hahaha. And another ignorant meat-eater, assuming protein is at all difficult to get on a vegan diet. Learn the facts, mayne.
that isnt chocolate omg it is literally almost 100% pure chocoalte. just because it doesnt have dairy in it doesnt mean its not chocolate.
+Aisling L. You mean close to 100% cocoa
. There is a difference. A very big difference.
+Aisling L. Yeh i dont understand how dairy chocolate is considered 'real' chocolate when dairy chocolate is titty milk from cows
+Aisling L. Cacao lait . Cocoa milk.. Chocolate.._
+Aisling L. The most commonly consumed "ready to eat," chocolate in many English speaking countries is milk chocolate. The fats from milk lend itself to the flavor and texture of the chocolate. The brand of vegan chocolate in this video is quite a bit different, however. Most milk chocolate has milk as the most prominent ingredient, followed by sugar and cocoa. The brand in the video is about 30% sugar and 22% soya flour. It has fewer liquid, "rich" ingredients, which would have an effect on the texture and to a lesser extent the flavor. Honestly it's probably closer to something like Ibarra in terms of taste and texture than a traditional milk chocolate bar, minus the cinnamon. The point is that the flavor and texture profile most people associate with chocolate is closer to milk chocolate than the actual bean, which is actually pretty bitter. So it's not surprising that two products with the most important ingredient being different would have different flavor and texture characteristics.
+Christy Lovasz titty milk? opposed to elbow milk? The second part of your statement literally has to do nothing to do with why dairy chocolate shouldn't be considered "real" chocolate. Chocolate literally has milk in it's name, so yes, it is real chocolate. Not debatable.
"your gonna get beat up by a vegan" ahahhahaha
harp per no
All Shaolin Monks in China are all vegans.
Rod 1984 well here's the most invalid comment. Do some research or actually talk to a vegan. They'll tell you they probably have MORE energy than you and just enough protein seeing as how protein comes from plants just as much as it does from animals minus the cholesterol and fat.
There are a lot of body builders that eats vegan. And lots of people that exercise and are healthy in general.
nate Diaz is vegan. and he'll kick most asses
Lol they showed a MacDonalds burger as the non-vegan one! Even the burgers in my school cafeteria look better XD
Things like beans, chickpeas, lentils, and tofu save vegan dishes. I'd take a good black bean burger over a lot of meat burgers any day. That being said, just because you can mold your vegan ingredients to looks somewhat like the real dish, does not mean it's anywhere near a substitute. You're not going to convince me a mushroom is better than a steak no matter how well you cook it. Just eat it for what it is and stop pretending it's a fucking steak.
That is what I've always said about vegetarian and vegan food. Spice and cook it to accentuate the natural flavors of whatever you're preparing, and stop trying to imitate what people already like. I've had plenty of food with no meat at all and loved it, simply because they did just that.
some people like me, hate meat, its just not for me, i dont like the taste, texture or smell. These vegan burgers dont claim to taste like meat, and the ones that do, are simply awful. You prefer meat, and i prefer my quinoa and falafel.
mushrooms are fucking disgusting
I love how they use the most bland colored cheapest non vegan food as the side by side.
0:05 In America cows are not thrilled to be milked. Cows are forcefully impregnated, their calf taken from them immediately at birth, then both cow and calf are injected with growth hormones. The mother is milked once a day and produces 12x the milk her body would normally produce. Her teats are so swollen they drape on the ground. She bleeds while being milked. The calf is put in a dog kennel and fattened for slaughter, never knowing the touch of other cows. The mother's body is exhausted within 4 years, when she is then killed for hamburger meat.
Hell yea sounds yummy to me. I worked in a slaughter house for a year. Boy can i tell you some good stories.
Those vegan breakfasts i think would work better as a quick lunch
I'm vegetarian, (im not forcing you to be) and honestly I prefer the taste of "fake meat" to real meat. That's not the reason I'm vegetarian, like if you went and hunted a wild pig I would eat it, I just don't agree with animals being raised to be killed
The issue people have with vegans is all the false information they claim to be fact. I'm not talking about an average guy or girl who happens to be vegan I'm talking about the radicals in the group who claim oh humans aren't omnivores and if you eat meat you will get cancer 100%
Sheer Cyber Not gonna lie, those people really get on my nerves. Maybe they would be okay if what they were saying wasn't a twisted version of the truth. But can't they just let people have the diet they want? I'm totally fine with everyone's life choices, eat what you want ^-^ meat is yummy after all XD
hi, kate. I eat some meat (and some vegetarian "meatless" options). yay for soy chorizo! lol
anyways, my brother is a hunter/fisher. he feeds his family with what he gets. I think that is the way to go, really.
however, farm-raised animals are good, too. and the whole animal (or most) is used. I do prefer to buy responsibly raised, grass fed, etc. when I can. Other than that, 1 product I do refuse to buy as a meat-eater is veal. I don't agree with the methods, nor do I savor the idea of killing baby animals. they didn't even get a chance to live. that's just sad.
+sweetpsalms Thanks for showing your opinion without being rude to anyone, I wish more people were like that! I don't think I can ever go back to farm raised animals :( I'm so glad someone agrees with me on at least one half of it though, and honestly hunting for food is much better although with how many humans are populating Earth now, I don't think we can go back to it.
+Kate Annett You are aware that without people wanting to eat them they wouldn't exist right? No one will raise animals for no return. Cows make lousy pets and chickens are vicious little raptors with feathers. Some pigs are feral so they would survive as a nuisance animal.
While everyone is complaining bout the food choices, I'm just gonna complain bout the overblown whites and exposure of this video.
i think he is refering to the camera setings the whites are too bright
Jacus Szewczyk its people like you that Trump became president. You are so dumb
This is Ireland. What are you expecting to see?
Bereaver lol he/she is talking about the camera settings, not the people
Man... The amount of people commenting with racist replies to this... It's video editing terminoligy guys. Sure, the irish are stereo-typically pale, but their foreheads are literally the same shade as youtube's white background. The lighting and the post processing on the video were alittle shoddy compared to how they typically do things.
2:44 "This chocolate is actually made by people who were doing yoga at the time they were making it".
Hahahaha!
"This does not taste like chocolate" you do realise chocolate is a plant and that chocolate you ate is probably closer to what chocolate actually tastes like...
+TheBsdinnan "chocolate is a plant", and money literally grows on trees
+Angelous Mortis Uh, not coca. You're thinking of cocoa, or cacao.
Coca is a leaf that people in central and south america chew, and it helps with altitude sickness. And it can be made into cocaine.
+Angelous Mortis life must be great living in minor technicalities that have no actual effect on the meaning of my original statement.
+TheBsdinnan cocao is the plant. chocolate is a combination of cocoa, milks, sugars, and fats
+TheBsdinnan do you always struggle with admitting you're wrong?
You should rename this channel to Opinions.
yahee122 yup
I like these guys, they're very open-minded. They don't completely slant veganism but at the same time they speak their mind which is great. I'm not a vegan but Its nice to see stuff like this.
I don't mind people eating vegan food but i just hate it when people try to make "vegan meat" like why imitate something it's totally not? Vegan food should have its own cuisine and selection of foods instead of being imitation meat
It's mostly for people starting a vegan diet supposedly. But years ago when I started I never really ate meat or dairy to begin with so I guess it's different for some people.
Discerning Daniel yeah but at the same time if it's targeted for people who try to get into vegan food, they temp theirselves with something that looks like meat that isn't. You already have expectations for a hamburger or a steak or meat in general, so vegan food won't meet the expectations of the thing you see
Christian Garcia Theirs that too. 12 years ago when I went vegan I bought 2 things in big bags. Take a wild guess at what they were.
Discerning Daniel what were they?
Christian Garcia Rice and beans ( ;
Butchers seem like honest people.
But they murder innocent beings... just like Hitler
...
And...
Why did Hitler kill millions of jews?
No good reason at all...
Why do people kill billions upon trillions of animals? Not to survive... but because they like the taste.. That's selfish and cruel.
If only they were honest about the horrendous cruelty that a large majority of the monopolized meat industry. And what you said about running out of resources if everyone had a vegan diet, you’re just flat out wrong. I won’t pretend to know statistics off the top of my head, but I strongly recommend looking into articles and resources that do have research and statics on that. I do know that farm animals consume more energy in grains and plant based foods then they create as meat, which is inefficient and a waste of food. They also consume a LOT of fresh water, which we only have limited amounts of (3% of the earths water is fresh water and most of that is not in an accessible form. Meaning it’s in glaciers or the atmosphere), and land for grazing. In addition, overgrazing (which is very common in industrialized factory farming) can end up making land unable to grow vegetation, contaminate groundwater with feces, and increase the amount of sediment picked up with runoff, also contaminating the land water supply. Look into it. There’s a lot more that I didn’t even touch on too, including the use of antibiotics and how wasteful and disgusting factory farms are, often leaving dead animals with the live ones for weeks at a time
I'd urge anyone with an hour to spare to watch Earthlings which is narrated by Joaquin Phoenix. Even if you don't go vegan at least be aware of how meat or eggs end up on your plate :)
Fuck off, stop forcing your agenda down everyone's throats. That's part of the reason people hate vegans/vegetarians, you never shut the fuck up.
Stop forcing my agenda? I eat meat 😂
Yea everyone should know where meat comes from it should be taught in school
danoham10 Exactly and GreenCoast; for Vegans shoving their agenda down peoples throats? I dont see countless adverts on tv for tofu etc. Just constantly burgers and crap like that. So what agenda do meateaters have? People can eat what ever the hell the please. I don't really care. At least be interested in the chemicals that are pumped in to the meat we consume.
+June Mc Backing this, i find more often than not people are completely unaware of how their meat goes from farm to fork, if someone can watch earthlings etc and still not want to cut out meat etc then that's their own choice but education is definitely needed.
Also greencoast as June said, it's not vegetarianism/veganism that is constantly drilled into peoples heads, from a young age what are we told we have to drink to become stronger, cow's milk, what are we told to eat becasue it's "good for you" meat
in my 21 years on this planet other than a few quorn adverts in the past year or so all the food adverts i have seen are for meat, dairy and poultry. The only agenda that is being shoved down peoples throat is one that perpetuates the suffering and killing of animals for human gain, look at GBK's current ad campaign on the london underground, their tagline is actually "vegetarians, resistance is futile" if people who choose to not eat meat or animal products are faced with this on a daily basis i feel they are more than justified in presenting their own case to oppose this attitude
"This chocolate is actually made by people who are doing yoga whilst making it"
LOOOL
Adam Taylor i was gonna quote that xD
I gotta say, I love this channel much more than buzzfeed!
in my opinion, vegans are wasting their time trying to replicate meat based dishes with vegan ingredients. it is the meat that gives it the flavor we love, and without it, the dish is lacking. instead, perhaps you may wish to consider taking vegan ingredients and making the best possible thing out of it. don't try to make a tofu lint hopseed burger that is "like" a hamburger. show tofu in a way that only tofu can be shown.maybe take soy milk and cocoa nibs and find a way to make milk chocolate without animal milk, then maybe use silken tofu with it to make some wild tofu chocolate mousse or chocolate icecream with the tofu chocolate stuff. don't replicate, innovate! be all you can be, then take one step further and be more than you can be.
+zomberz von zombycow I'm definitely agreeing with you, but you really have to check out the vegan super meat that is about to hit the market this year. 100% pure meat without having to go through the animals, with a fraction of the carbon footprint, using space age technology.
+Spoo Rin We have been omnivores for the last 75 million years of our evolution. You may choose not to eat meat out of sentimental or political or health related reasons and that is none of my concern. However, I would suggest not flaunting your ignorance on such matters and acting so smug about it.
hakairyu1
please do not feed the troll.
zomberz von zombycow But trolls are people too!
zomberz von zombycow Also, there are people who actually believe that tripe. If I'm extremely lucky and the planets are aligned and hell has indeed frozen over due to the invention of flight by pigs, one of them will actually stumble upon and consider this.
I like it how they're making the vegan food look all beautiful and colourful, but the regular meal with meat looks gray and terrible. Come on facts don't be so blatantly one sided.
I felt that they were doing the opposite, actually.
+DerkaMonsta I had to scroll too far down to see this...
That's because they had to hide all the shit looking parts lol
Nothing "vegan" that's pretending to be meat looks appealing. It always looks like they grew it out of a lab somewhere.
Try vegans try meat
youre an idiot
Ethical, ecological and medical reasons. Thats why.
Medical reasons I can understand that ecological yeah I understand because farming livestock is not efficient at all, but ethical, I don't give two shits about what happens to that chicken/cow/goat/etc. when I'm eating it.
***** Because we are programmed not to care about them, we have labeled them animals that don't have any intrinsical value as sentient beings. However we do care about cute cats and dogs. We have no carnivorous intent so we have to teach and think that it's okay for some animals to die for reasons being: pleasure, habit, ''convenience'' etc.
(Social) lack of empathy is not something which is natural in humans. It's either taught or occuring in malfunctions of perseption i.e. psycho- and sociapaths.
Also if you only care for your own well being, why are you eating animal based protein? You said you are convinced of the huge medical risk and problem which an animal based diet includes but you still consume it? Or how about the wellbeing of your lived ones?
Benjamin Scotch idgaf
These guys are so polite. Yet very honest.
I love how they made the meat dishes look absolutely horrible and the vegan ones look great, it's hilarious. Did you see the difference in those burgers though m8?! xD
"I love chocolate this doesn't taste like chocolate"
Ok so you like milk and sugar with a hint of chocolate
Smh. People will say they are chocolate lovers but then again these people have never tried anything other than that made by hershey or Cadbury. 90% straight cacao uncreamed and unsweetened, these people would be thrown up
I want everyone to know that you're all beautiful people. Have a great day! :D
I'm just in a good mood. :D
+Scott Is that supposed to hurt my feelings because it hasn't. Why would I kill myself just because a rude ass person told me so
+Anime Lover10157 I don't care about your feelings I just don't like you
+Redpanda Radio you dont even know me
+Thats Cute This girl says shes in the army... A hero my fucking ass, would family and friends like to see what you post online to people ? doubt it... fucking grow up and don't be so fucking rude.
this was probably the most entertaining clip you guys produced... very entertaining
Vegan dishes taste fine when they aren't pretending to be non-vegan food.
Stop putting so much effort into making beans taste more like meat, and just cook the beans to taste _good_.
Everyone likes different things. Mock meats can be helpful for people transitioning to veganism.
You’re acting like all vegans eat this stuff. They don’t.. it’s for meat eaters that want to transition to being vegan while still being able to have the same taste and textures of the non vegan foods they liked. It also depends on the brand. There are so many vegan alternatives out there that there are bound to be some gross ones. I wish they said which brand they used in this video because non of the stuff looked recognizable to me.
The mistake here is in trying vegan food attempts at cloning regular foods. I am by no means vegetarian or vegan but I am a foodie and I have to say that vegan and vegetarian recipes can be amazing when they aren't attempting to clone meat or other foods that require stuff that isn't part of what they allow.

Can you make them try the Impossible Burguer?
Facts.why are ya so one sided make the real food look like shyt but u paint up the fake shit
How are plants fake shit? I don't understand the argument of that. My dad always tells me to eat "real" food, like produce is somehow imaginary. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact they made vegan food LOOK like the vegan food people actually eat. 9/10 videos have people eating bland blocks of tofu and microwaved boca patties. Most of the world is addicted to animal products, they will eat it even if it looks as shitty as it is.
"Looks good, smells good, tastes like shit" yep that describes all vegan food
No
Absolutely not. it just has to be seasoned and overall prepared well... i love meat but i equally love vegan and vegetarian dishes...
Yeah if you suck at cooking.
You're so close minded.
I love vegan food. I'm particularly fond of cows.
cows are unfortunately one of the only mammals I do not like
+Bianca W Basically a cow killed my uncle who was a very experienced farmer, I hold a grudge
+Bianca W have u ever been around a real cow? if your not on your toes at all time they will charge u and try to kill you. we had a few on the farm that would try to trample my dad whenever he entered the field the cows were in
+Bianca W goes dbl for if they have a calf with them
+Bianca W except for the ones who actively try to kill their young which I have seen hell I've seen plenty of cows right after giving birth turn around and start to trample on their baby calf and no its not that they don't like me they just are not nice animals guess that one time u have seen a cow in a very controlled environment lets u know how every other cow out there acts ;)
Some vegan food is good, but vegan and vegetarian food are at their worst when they are pretending to be meat.
+Larwood It really depends on what it is made of and seasoned with, there are Mandarin "Chicken" Nuggets made by Gardein and they actually taste like the real deal
+Travis Clous I second this! All of Gardein's chick'n products are out of this world.
+Travis Clous I've become a huge fan of Seitan recently. It all depends on the right seasoning
P.O. M.E well at least they are using those parts instead of them wasting them
Well it was bound to die at one point.
I respect vegans they have a lot of restraint and will power. I wish i could go at least vegetarian for health reasons. I really do have to get off meat at least red meat...
+warmccl no respect from me vegans are assholes
+Cassandra Witherbee Well not all of you. A vast majority of vegans try to push to be vegan or die bullshit
Matt Bogdalamatt I wouldn't say a vast majority, I think it's more of a vocal minority. I think the truth for a lot of us though is that we're almost afraid to bring up our veganism because we get bombarded with silly questions, and because there's also a vocal minority of omnivores who like to berate us because they somehow take our lifestyle choice as a personal attack. There are a few bad apples in every bunch. :P
+Cassandra Witherbee Meat eaters don't care if someone is vegan. Just be vegan and don't pull the hate crime card out when you see some one wearing a Canada goose jacket
Matt Bogdalamatt I personally know a few meat eaters who go out of their way to let me know how they feel about my lifestyle choices. You can't make a blanket statement like that. Some meat eaters are dicks, some vegans are dicks. The same is true about all groups of people. Don't be ignorant.
👍👍👍 The Hillshire Farms commercial shown before the video!! 😂😂😂😂😂 GO MEAT!!!
Honestly, videos like this give a poor representation for vegan/vegetarian food. People have this false idea that vegan/vegetarian food tastes like shit. It really doesn't! It's just an adjustment thing. Like, if you take someone who has eaten nothing but meat their whole life, and film their initial reaction to a vegan burger, of course they're not going to like it. I honestly wasn't a big fan of vegan burgers when I first became vegetarian. But after about 2 months now I can definitely say you just have to find what you like! Whole Foods has these meatless breaded chik'n patties that are AMAZING as chik'n sandwiches! They also have really tasty tofu options in the buffet! You can't just try a vegan meatless meal and expect to like it first try if you're used to eating meat cause it's def an adjustment because of the consistency.
+llGemini19 you are so true omg bless ,, everyone doesnt adjust to things the same
Lol! I would be 100% vegetarian if this food would taste good. But vegetarian food (mostly) tastes awfull. I eat sometimes vegetarian food because I do not tolerate dairy. Also would like to ask is it normal that after you eat vegetarian food, you have to go to toilet 15 minutes later? Way too much fibre. It totally destroy my stomach, same with disgusting almond, soy, rice ect. „Milk”. I prefer now black coffee than coffee with any milk. I tried some vegetarian food and it looks nice but mostly taste like a carrot with lettuce without spices, dried without any tasty dressing. And I do not talk about fancy expensive restaurants with small meal course for 20€. Just tried something like a wrap for 4,95€ or fallafel. Like for me 2,5/10. Ps. I like dairy free chocolate but it is extremely expensive! 2,95€ for 60g bar. Probably because it is organic, gluten free,, hand picked, handmade, single plantation, fairtrade, Australian chocolate... :D
I’ve actually tasted several vegan food without being told it was vegan before hand and I still thought the majority of them tasted awful.
muzgnasicianie OMG I totally agree vegan food tastes sooo sooo bad!! So what if you have to adjust to it?? You don’t have to adjust to the AMAZING taste of meat!
I don’t think anything is wrong in here just two men giving their opinion on a certain thing they don’t like the taste of
Is vegan chocolate basically dark chocolate or is it cocoa with some type of milk substitute (like almond or coconut milk) ??
It's definitely bittersweet more often than not, but they use cocoa butter a lot of the time with the cocoa itself. The milk varieties with coconut milk or almond milk though are damn delicious. Even the rice milk ones aren't half bad.
***** THANKS! I have to try some soon.
Larry Stylinson oh I definitely recommend EnjoyLife brand if you can find it. They make cookies too which are phenomenal.
***** I'll try them! I love vegan food recommendations :)
A lot of regular dark chocolate is actually vegan seeing as it is basically cocoa, cocoa butter (which is vegan), and sugar. In fact, the "good" stuff is vegan, milk products are usually just added as fillers.
I respect people who are vegetarian or vegan, but I am sick and tired of them rubbing their lifestyles in everyone's faces or trying to tell others to "GO VEGAN" or "BECOME VEGETARIAN" the answer is NO. You can not go around trying to force your lifestyle on other people just by posting it in the comments, all people think of that is an annoyance; if anything comments like that make people laugh at you.. Stop trying to push your lifestyles on others.. If people want to go vegetarian or vegan, than they will convert to that lifestyle on their OWN. If not, leave them alone. It is our life choices to eat the foods we eat, and you don't have the right to say otherwise. Whether you like it or not, we will eat what we eat, and you eat what you eat, and stop trying to change people. They will change on their own if they want to.
You're missing some points
1. Your choice is the cause of world hunger
2.Your choice is the leading cause of global warming
3. If you want to eat animals you should kill them, that's how it works for all the other carnivores and omnivores.
4. Milk is made for the calf, there is absolutely no reason for a human to consume it.
5. People are losing their homes in South America for you to eat meat, but whatever right?
6. The animals are treated like shit before you eat them.
7. What's the right way of killing.
But damn vegans are horrible, right? I don't expect everyone to become vegan but educate yourself & if you're not gonna kill it you shouldn't eat it.
+feffetjonas Oh well.
+Kayter Tot "Panda" i m vegan and sick and tired of people who eat meat rubbing their lifestyles in everyones faces. it goes both ways bitch
+Blazed Duck I'm eating bacon right now, it's SSSOOOO good. You mad??
Statatize lol
How easy would it be for a vegan visitor to find food in various locales in Ireland? Locations, prices, etc.?
That was my main problem with vegan "meat" products was that they were always to dry.
Thats what sauces are for genius.
Good meat should not need sauce
FF sake haha I'm a vegetarian for a week now. Loving it. I ate some Vegan Meat Free Products and they are dry but as soon as I slap a bit of sauce on it its ok
+Sam Southall Yeah because of all that saturated fat and cholesterol that is slowly clogging up your arteries. Delicious heart attacks and diabetes! Yummy.
Who gives a fuck, I've been eating food with saturated fat for 81 years and I ain't dead yet.
ok but can we talk about the way they say "burger"
Irish accent.
Dublin accent. Dublin has the worst Irish accent next to the Cork and Kerry accents.
In Dublin and some other counties, a lot of us really pronounce the "U" were in other countries, like America it's said more with an "er" sound.
lemonyoongi I love the way they say burger, it sounds like booger!
I love vegetables. That's what food eats.
xD YES!
The one to the right has McGregor like humor and I love it
Lot of people saying stuff like dairy farms are horrible, but in a lot, a LOT of places outside of the U.S., dairy farms treat their cattle very nicely...
Farmers in British Columbia, Canada tend to treat their livestock quite well. The States (from what ive heard), and Saskatchewan and Alberta are questionable though. The areas around Vancouver, BC (Okanagan territory) have incredible farms, where its nothing but green pasture and healthy dairy cows.
and in the UK as well...
5% of a million is still 50.000 which is a big number, but the rest (95%) is quite a lot bigger
What I got from the comments section: vegetarians are more relaxed. Then vegans seem to be more hostile, towards the "carnivores". Just what I've seen.
+BLacKspARTan 54 Vegans put themselves on a superior moral ground where they think they can judge people by their diet. Just one more lobby of the politically correct bitches along with feminists, black supremacists and muslim lovers.
They seem like such every day men. Fair play +Facts!
I like this channel, I'm subscribing; Not like that's gonna do anything, youtube.
didn't know that jason statham had a an irish butcher twin brother
+Anugerah Ardiansyah Yeah I was looking for this kind of comment, they look the same. :()
The problem is they just served them meat substitutes.
Probably cause they are butchers.
Of course. Youre like every other vegan, "they just didnt do it right"
@@wheatstonebridge but I'm not vegan lol
@@wheatstonebridge You're pathetic, Sonja. You're like every other vegan hater. just accept that there are also vegans who don't blame others, instead of generalising, and maybe you'd make something out of yourself someday. I have faith!
I'm digging the Jason Statham look alike 😍
Really like this video!!! Nice to see these very handsome men going in open minded with the food they tried! Comical too!! Thumbs up Facts!!
if they merge in one person, that person would look exactly like Jason Statham
exactly my thoughts
Vegetarian ftw
+Scott Saucerman Why are you so aggressive?
+MyPrettyOdd people are always saying that on the internet, makes me lose the little faith I had in humanity. Damn, if we still lived in the wild, and humans actually had to TRY to survive, we would be extinct by now the amount of people there is telling others to commit suicide
+MyPrettyOdd Why are you so passive? Aggression gets you resources and dominance
Fuck vegans, fuck vegetarians. Preachy holier than thou assholes who don't know what the fuck they're talking about.
Greencoast Ummm...IDK about your experience with Vegans and Vegetarians, but I don't preach to people and I've never met any Vegans who do. It's usually those who eat meat who are insulting us, acting like we insult them. Honestly its ridiculous.
These guys are quite real and entertaining. Cool.
I love the way they talk. Especially when they say burger.
I can understand vegetarian. People in general need to eat more veggies, but full vegan is silly, lol.
i agree
I can only speak from my own experience, but I was vegetarian for about 7 months then I went vegan. I felt much better and found I had more energy, I was overall happier and more productive. I would never insult someone's diet as long as it's not hurting anyone. I don't care if I go on a date and she eats a steak. I just find I'm my better self when I vegan.
Irish buzzfeed. but better.
Being vegan is pretty simple these days if you have some common sense. Lots of people tend to give up because they don't want to take the time to do a little research.
shut the hell up
Dragonoid Fox And people think vegans are rude. Haha! Your doing more harm then good buddy.
Discerning Daniel you know that it's bad for a child under the age of 7 to be a vegan because they're not getting the proper nutrients and many children in the Italian region have died because of it. And this rule also applies to both vegans and carnivores you can't just change the food you eat and expect everything to be fine people can't just expect vegans to wake up one day and say hey I'm going to eat a cheeseburger and vice a versa your body can't handle that kind of change buddy.
Dragonoid Fox This is your bio. I'm somebody who is very strict with their opinion and nothing will make me change my mind. Fuck you if you try to. Lost faith in the anime community lost faith in the comic book community losing faith in the video game community.
Dragonoid Fox Just stop before you make laugh.
"Doing yoga while they're making it." You got me. Hahahahaha!
Completely aside from the health and ethical reasons for being vegan, the sad truth is that it must FINALLY be time for humans to admit that our planet cannot sustain 7 billion people gorging themselves on cheese and steak!
Producing enough food to sustain a meat and dairy consuming person uses up EIGHTEEN times as much land as a vegan diet. The day is rapidly approaching when we simply won't have the choice anymore, there just won't be any space to look after that much livestock. And Christ on a fucking bicycle, I do not want to be around when the entire western world simultaneously goes through bacon withdrawal.
Will never happen
paleoleap.com/vegetarianism-bad-environment/ bloop. Read it if you want.
+TuskMonk2 Thanks, I'm always interested in reading more on the subject, although I have to say that the entire section under "meat and dairy are bad for the environment" seems pretty backwards to me - So if the pesticides get eaten by livestock and then we eat the livestock, that's fine? also, that's nothing to do with veganism, just organic farming. The rest of the bullet points are all defunct for the same reason: we grow all those crops to feed LIVESTOCK, not humans! We grow enough food to feed 10 billion people, but choose instead to give more than 50% to livestock. You might find the facts on this page interesting, or watch the whole documentary if you have time! :) www.cowspiracy.com/facts/
Or we could put some more money into countries with high poverty and increase their consumption of grains and fruits. Many places with high poverty rely on animals for both income and food. It's not exactly fair to just say "Why can't everyone be vegan?!". In my opinion, countries that are able to reduce meat production and increase field output through GMOs or whatever will be a big help in themselves. I don't disagree that a meat-eating diet is damaging to the environment, just that we should try to be more understanding of why people eat meat and what we can do to help them first and foremost.
As long as the dumbass EPA insists on MANDATING over half the corn crop gets made into crap fuel, and put in my gas tank...I'll not sweat the relative pittance that goes to silage. Running out of arable land? How about NOT PUTTING MOONSHINE IN MY %$&*ING CAR!!!
They should go to blossom, the vegan restaurant in NYC. I took my carnivore partner there once and it was his favorite burger of all time.
Maybe we should take you to a southern style BBQ restraunt.
FuKItM4n Actually I've already been to many, thanks!
jess noyb omnivore ......humans are omnivores regardless of what you choose to eat later in life........
Ahmar Camacho Ok if you can't take a joke just fuck off dude. I called him a carnivore because he eats meat more than anything else, and he calls himself a carnivore as a joke. Seriously grow up.
jess noyb its over, let it go. been over a month.
It a great way to double your food bill every year.
Fake meats are expensive but ring vegan isn't, lentils, rice, beans, pasta, fruits and veg are cheaper than meat
its cheaper...... fake meat cant be more expensive than meat. if there is a place that sell expensive vegan meat then its a scam
Have you even done some research? a vegan diet is much cheaper lmao
Danny Moe being a vegan myself, that my friend is false lol
Danny Moe depend on what you where eating before, if ur not into the complete "organic" array like myself then yeah it would double my food bill. And to anyone that argues that with lentils and beans, and nuts are cheap ok but the amount you need makes it expensive because you need more to get equal proteins. For example almonds are like $4 for a 6oz bag that's crazy. All in all what I'm trying to say is if you are organic, and grass fed or whatever bullshit u ate then yeah it wouldn't change your bill, but if your like me and many other Americans then having to pay that hefty price of equal protein then yeah it's more expensive
My sister is a vegan and got me to try the vegan breakfast burrito and it was pretty good. It was MUCH better with a few slices of jalapenos! If I could afford to be a vegan and was able to have the supplies easily available I might consider it, but as it is, I will happily continue eating my meat.
Do you live near any type of grocery store? If so you can become vegan very easily. The vegan mock meats cost a lot more but if you got foods like fruit, pasta, rice, lentils or beans etc. They are very cheap. I hope this comment helps you.
why make vegan food imitate the look of meat ? so we can pretend to eat meat? umm ok lol
Some people miss the taste of animal products but dont eat them because of obvious ethical reasons and it also helps people make the switch to veganism
+Gabriella M basically people who want to follow a political statement but cant withhold themselves from the temptations of animal product so would like a food equivalent of an e-cigarette. talking of ethical reasons why do you wear clothes with any polymer or fabric, because its likely to have been made by underpaid people, and/or using resources which damage the environment massively to be produced?
+J B Never got it either. I mean if you want to make a vegetable burger that great but why does it have to imitate a beef burger?
I eat that because I love the taste of meat but don't eat it because of the animals
***** your saying the reason vegan food imitates meat is so I stop eating meat? where is the logic in that ? don't call me a idiot until you make some sense please
Is anyone else having difficulty understanding them?
+Limey Figdet Nope
Cpt Swoops I wouldn't consider myself poorly educated, I'm just having trouble with their accents.
Not really. A couple of things they said I didn't quite catch, but they were mumbling or talking with food in their mouth.
+Cpt Swoops Well the accent is difficult to understand and no i am not from the US at all but i were having a hard time understanding them. I laughed my ass off the way they pronounced burger that was hysterical.

I know everyone keeps saying this but even though they're butchers, watching them be respectful towards vegans and being open minded made me so happy.
Jason Statham on the left xD
+ub98- Bald Burn Gorman on the right xD
So the butchers know that meat isn't healthy?
Yeah, still tastes good. Why does it matter if it's healthy. We're all gonna die anyway
Time Tom that wasn't his question. It had to do with health. The person chooses to eat how he wants, he's not killing anyone else. Not only is your argument invalid, it's down right stupid.
that was directed to you with that idiotic argument that we all die anyways. yeah we all die eventually
it's just I wanna live longer and better
Time Tom that's you, he doesn't have to abide by your standards he is his own person and you hold no authority to his life
you're right he doesn't need to follow my standard but the world would be better if he/she would
Not sure why people still equate vegan to healthy, but hey, more power to ya.
bc you have a raise your chance of having a heart attack, cancer, diabetes, other health problems, everytime you eat meat. Im vegan no necessarily for the healthy part, im more for animal rights, but being healthy is also important.
you are an idiot. it has been disproved multiple times that being vegan is actually healthy. No traditional cultures were ever vegan, going vegan means you miss out on important vitamins you need to survive and have to seek un-natural ways of getting those vitamins. And oh, my oh so favourite argument vegans have for not eating meat, is that killing animals is wrong. new flash. You must take life to have life
Many people choose veganism because they think it cruel to take a an animal's life, but something dies no matter what you eat. For example, field mice were demolished in order to grow the corn for a box of vegan cereal.
Further, plants are living beings, capable of communicating with each other and the world around them. Controversial but intriguing research, indicates that plants can even sense and respond to human emotions!
Nutritional Therapist Liz Wolf sums it up perfectly in her book Eat the Yolks:
If we truly believe that no living thing should have to die for our dinner, we shouldn’t eat at all. If we truly believe that all life deserves equal respect, why not equalize ourselves by embracing the elegant fact that we are all, as Nelson writes, “driven by the same hungers that motivate any other creature- the squirrel in the forest, the vole in the meadow, the bear on the mountainside, the deer in the valley”?
Proven studies, thats why.
Benjamin Scotch like what? and dont say the china one, because it has been disproved on every single point. vegan isnt healthier. end of.
Studies that deal with long spans of time such as a human's life innately lacks power. As of right now, the only conclusive guides we have on diet are diet, are that having a high percentage of your diet be vegetables (doesn't matter if you are vegan, omni, vegetarian) and the consumptions of nuts. Some studies have researched groups of people that are vegan, vegetarian, an omni, but unfortunately, not enough studies have been done to conclusively prove anything as of yet. (Note that one study isn't enough to prove anything to the point of extrapolation. An experiment is different, a study is a huge bag of worms that needs to be incredibly rigorous to actually reveal anything with a high degree of accuracy.)
Studies may have shown that large meat consumption leads to higher risk of various illnesses, but it does not note the displaced foods that were avoided due to that high meat consumption. It also doesn't consider why some people eat high meat diets. Some factors such as demographic(race, culture, location, wealth)/exercise may be normalized. But what won't be normalized is the rest of the diet may not be normalized, and there are hundreds+ of other possible confounding factors. Or at the very least, it would be difficult to do so and still maintain reasonable power (Unless you actually cover hundreds of thousands of people over many decades). Which is what those studies on nut consumption and plant based diets did.
I personally eat a diet that's very high in raw fruits, nuts, and vegetables. I also decent amount of meat. I'm quite skeptical if cutting out meat will significantly affect my health, as I've gone vegetarian for a month, and nothing noticeable happened except my protein intake went down, and I enjoyed less food. Am I like other meat eaters? From a health perspective, it's doubtful. I'm an outlier just based off how much I move each day. I'm constantly moving around.
Credentials: data science minor and I read studies in my free time.
You men are doing the world a great service cutting up meats, keep being you!
i will say a lot of vegan food is dry, very true, so you learn vegans make some bad ass sauces.
Soon they're gonna be able to make factories where the meat is replicated with cells.
globru26 don't know if you're being sarcastic but yeah that's already a thing 😂
+Andy Halpenny wrong, they don't have factories mass producing synthetic meat, they have laboratories that are slowly growing meat.
+ChaoticQuiet NC you mean organs? would be pretty pointless to just grow meat for no apparent reason
the reason beeing that so far it hasnt been given hig hratings by taste tests. While lab growing a "steak" is technically possible, there is some time yet before any mass production on any scale of note can be done, and once it IS done, we will see one of human history's largest economic collapses. As the meat industry would fall apart gradually, million upon millions would be unemployed, billions of cattle would have to be killed off as noone is left to give a shit about them. as i doubt any farmer is willing to simply pay for the animals existance for fun :). Doomsday is coming, and it will be a funny end :)
a good trick i have learned with grounded meat is do half meat half tofu them cook it. i see no difference
Heard the same thing with lentils. Great way to make your money go further.
using actual meat works good too
ThePapino134 soy really isn't all that good for you
But what's the point? Just save on meat?
If you have trouble with veggie burgers being Dry, put some liquid (I like ketchup and jalapeño juice) on it while frying it so the patty soaks up the juice. It flavors it AND makes the texture so much better.
