This is a remake of the original song “Come Back Home” by the legendary group SeoTaeJi and Boys. This group basically birthed the modern day Kpop industry bc they came into the highly conservative Korean music industry and said “eff this! Eff your censorship! we finna dance and say what’s on our minds!” (No one really danced and rapped in Korea at that time nor did people sing the way that they did) Sparked a revolution that BTS has continued 😔✊️💜 SeoTaeJi actually asked BTS to remake this song for the group’s 25th anniversary (if I remember correctly)
He also “passed the torch” to BTS at his 25th anniversary concert. That still boggles my mind. He asked them to perform with him and then basically crowned them the heirs of the throne
Jin and Hobi 💜💜 If you watch the original by seo taeji and the boys you'll see how hobi managed to manipulate his voice to sound similar to seo taeji, but with his own twist.

The original singer is regarded as the father of kpop. Where it all started. This was an exciting era, before manufactured kpop took over. I guess taiji saw something in bts that is different & want bts to bring the scene back to the glorious origins.
Jin can come out and do a sustained falsetto like it’s easy even though it’s difficult for a man to sustain a falsetto. The whole vocal line has beautiful falsettos, but Jin really seems like he worked hard on his vocals so it can appear effortless. Not to give less praise to the others, just pointing out my thoughts on Jin. 💜
Come back Home was actually from Seo Taeji and the boys from back in the 90s. They're from a different entertainment company but wanted BTS to cover this for their 25th anniversary. ALSO!!! This reaction is so wholesome man, damn, like this gotta be one of the best reaction if not, THE BEST, reaction channel I've seen
the original song is from 1995. I really love BTS's new verses and flavor they added to the song. There was a great about Seo Taeji and the boys and the birth of kpop called The Most Influential KPOP artist in History by DKDKTV that was great but it looks like it was blocked by youtube.
@@yashibasanil123 after JYP had formed his company, he could have had one of his artists or groups cover but they wanted BTS, that's what I meant. Sorry for the confusion and yes you are right, they were the first!

Seo is considered the 'living legend' of the K-pop scene. BTS' new "Come Back Home" is a song that brings to life Seo's original charm, but also reflects the charm of BTS Boys, the "big shot" of 2017. Particularly eye-catching is the rewriting of "Comeback Home." BTS performed the lyrics "Come Back Home" on "Come Back Home" with my name in the trophy. Many fans even speculated that it might mean winning the Billboard Music Awards. Through its official account, BTS delivered a review of its "Comeback Home" work. On its official social media account, BTS wrote the lyrics, ``My Name in the Trophy Come Back Home,'' in a good mood as it was the first work since the Billboard Music Awards were awarded,'' revealing behind-the-scenes stories of the popular lyrics. It also tried hard to melt the color of bulletproof while emphasizing the original song's sensibility. It's an infinite honor to be able to remake it in an official manner," he said, expressing his thoughts on the remake of Sher Taiji's masterpiece, "Come Back Home." This is the first time Seo's "Comeback Home" has been remade.
Comparing the two versions, I noticed the slight differentiation And similarities: the context And Answer to this! #That's my impression of this song compared to the original. # While the original version was made at a time when young people were running away from home because of School e excessive pressure from parents, the current version is for young people leaving the country because of the problem of finding jobs and housing (Social problems / pressure from society). While the former made it clear that it was better to go home, the latter says come back victorious! Because the problems of young people 25 years old only increased and today's young adults they still face problems, even after graduation!
As everyone has told you, this is a cover of a song done by the father of kpop Seo Taiji and the Boys. The reason you hear some old school in it is the original was done in 1995, so it was updated some but it still kept it's original flavor. Seo Taiji chose BTS to perform with him during his 25th anniversary and passed the torch on to them. Seo Taiji used to make music with messages and he saw what BTS was doing and that's why they became his successors.
Bts is something else even when they were rookie their stage presence was like professional artists and even better, bts is always above our imagination and that's what we love them tho
It was a huge honor for BTS to be asked by Seo Taiji to join him for his 25th anniversary concert -- he was basically passing the torch from his OG kpop/hip hop group to who he felt were his spiritual and musically successors. The performance is FIRE! You might really dig Seo Taiji and Boys, they were the originators of Kpop and had a very 90's light hip hop beat (but with a LOT of social commentary. They were considered VERY rebellious in their day!)

The song is originally from Seo Taiji & Boys released in 1995 (explains the dance moves), they’re the OGs in KPOP. Seo Taiji himself asked them to “recreate” the song for his anniversary, it was truly an honour for BTS! They participated in the entire concert he held for his anniversary too!
I know it's a cover, but it's still one of my ABSOLUTE favorite BTS tracks of all time! It reminds me of when I was a kid and heard Cypress Hill for the first time
That performance was in a fanmeeting and right after that there's the No More Dream performance with a lengendary dance break, and after that Mic Drop with another legendary dance break, I highly reccomend 💜
I commented this on a different channel's reaction, but I think it bears repeating: Seo Taiji is considered the father of modern Kpop as well as the spiritual father of BTS. He pretty much dragged the South Korean music scene into its current embrace of hip hop, electronica and R&B along with all that entails (societal critiques/multiculturalism/individual artistic expression, etc.). This song along with several others that criticised the rigidity and conformity of South Korean society were huge hits and he literally inspired changes to the censorship laws at the time. It's impossible to overstate his influence on BTS, on Kpop & on South Korean popular culture as a whole. This song also was SO important...not just anyone did this song...so for Seo TaeJi to basically say only BTS can do it right...and to perform it with them...yes...he was acknowledging them. In many ways BTS fought a similar fight as Seo TaeJi did. (Just my 2 cents worth)

They are doing the choreography from the original 1992 performance by Seo Taiji and Boys. There is a video of them learning it from him that's just so adorable. Watching Suga fanboy all over Seo Taiji is priceless. In 1992 it became the anthem for people trying to help runaways return to their parents in Korea, and it worked. Countless families were reunited because of this song. This is why BTS were crowned by Seo Taiji as his torch bearers. They are doing social commentary just like he did back in the '90s.

You should watch the other songs they did during that concert like "Ma City" and "Hip Hop Lover" the first talks about their city and the way those cities dialects can tell people apart and how they also describe the personality of the people from their area then "Hip Hop Lover" explains why they love hip hop and who their influences are it was a truly special night. For their 25th anniversary, Seo Taiji got current kpop acts to do covers of his group's songs. BTS did Come Back Home. And there was also a special 25th anniversary concert. There is also a behind-the-scenes video of BTS with Seo Taiji.

You guy kinda miss this whole performance It three some in this amazing performance .Please react to BTS Come Back Home +NoMore Dream +Mic Drop all of these song are in one performance one after the other on this Show.
So come back home is by a legendary group called Seo taiji and the boys, the first modern kpop group ever, they practically birthed the whole kpop industry as we know today. It was only after Seo taiji that companies for kpop and all were formed, seo taiji also used to sing about the youth and rebelling against the norms, their music came into play shortly after Korean independence, during this period koreans only listened to healthy or patriotic music, which appealed to older generations. Seo Taiji voiced his music for the youth, endorsing individualism and freedom and asked the youth to go against the conservative norms, the practically created a new dressing sense and a whole generation followed them. Seo Taiji asked BTS to perform with him on his 25th anniversary because he sees BTS as his successors, the only people who truly stand for the messages he spoke about, the youth. Also this song was written for runaway teenagers and youngsters, asking them to reach back to their families.
The very creator of Kpop acknowledge BTS as their successors and praised them for their contribution and asked them to make a remake for their 25 anniversary.
BTW, this song originally "Seo Taiji and Boys, come back home" song. It was meant to be for runaway teenager of that time. It was an issue and this song helped for many teens to go back home. BTS gave this song a cool vibe and with Suga's swag it's A+💜👏
Mind you that this is not their concert but Seo Teaji's 25th anniv. The crowd were mostly in their 40s and many are not ARMY when they came in the stadium but turn one right after the event.. Seo personally taught them the choreo and he let the boys call him Father off cam until now..

This song is a remix...And they are honoring the original singer and his style of dancing and performing...
There are some GREAT videos of BTS performing with Seotaijii
all of them got their own swag and all of their swag is always on point
Lyrics Reaction Starts at 1:17 , Live performance reaction starts at 7:56 , 7:05 to 7:54 their takes on it.
I've always liked this song and slam down lyrics especially by Suga! dang very awesome indeed.
One of the first real Army Anniversary Concerts.

I wish you had watched this knowing the backstory.
Come Back Home is a song from a legendary group called Seo Taiji and Boys. For their 25th anniversary, Seo Taiji got current kpop acts to do covers of his group's songs. BTS did Come Back Home. And there was also a special 25th anniversary concert. There is also a behind-the-scenes video of BTS with Seo Taiji.
So glad u finally reacted to this !!! I miss this song , also I was waiting for the day suga would climb higher on blazes list 👀
Believe it or not he is one of my favorites, I love his pure originality. But don't get it twisted RM will forever be my Bias 🤗💜💜💜❗
@@BlazeHVShow nah I understand dw ✊🏻
Ok you just praised Jin and Suga in one video. My days done. My fave rapper and vocalist. I’m done. 🥰💜
Aye they did they thing and we give credit when credit is due 🤗💜💜💜❗
I LOVE this song!!!! I know it’s a cover, but when it hits my playlist, the volume goes UP!!!
Jin and Jim very unique tones that will never be duplicated period.
I can see how genuine you are 😊
You all are ARMY, you say you're Baby ARMY but the way you talk, your understanding and level of respect for their talent to me says you've got your walking legs. You may not know all their dorky habits and each and every song, but that's not what makes ARMY, its caring like you do👍. And yes sir, Jin has got some voice, are sooo many songs I'd die if he ever covered them, it's just too good hearing him throw that range
Suga is the living embodiment of the word swag. Smh. My bias wrecking ball right there, Lol. 🔥🙋🏼♀️
Also, Blaze’s look color theme matches with what the boys are wearing for their live performance!
I didn't notice that thanks for pointing that out🤗💜💜💜❗
It's worth checking out Come Back Home at MAMA 2014 by Seo Taiji (feat. Zico, Vasco), An eagle eye will spot out a particular group happy to be there fanboying
I Hope that BTS watches your reactions. You guys not only catch all the meaningful details, and appreciate each members high spots, but you always show the same level of joy that I feel watching them perform (That GRIN of your Niko) ! Anyway keep it going, you are the best, thanks!
Jin stan here cryin over your comment
it's like one of my fav songs!!
You would never think that SUGA has social anxiety. Just shows how much he loves his craft and ARMY. 💜💜💜
another cover song done justice by our boys, BTS. loved your reactions 💜💜💜
This song pays homage to a senior group in Korea bts used the original beats from the song and just did their own verses and their own twist to it ! It was released in 2017 for the anniversary of the senior group
You have to see the rest of the performance with this!!!!
This song is on my chores playlist. Its a must have
The very creator of Kpop acknowledge BTS as their successors and praised them for their contribution and asked them to make a remake for their 25 anniversary.
BTW, this song originally "Seo Taiji and Boys, come back home" song. It was meant to be for runaway teenager of that time. It was an issue and this song helped for many teens to go back home.
BTS gave this song a cool vibe and with Suga's swag it's A+💜👏
Live performance BTS "Come back home/no more dream/mic drop 4th Muster (eng subs) ",....so good
That's why when people see like boy with love first, I'm like wait! You haven't seen the other side of BTS!
Not only west coast feel but it gives me cypress hill feel added in there
I'm not sure if you guys have watched this already, but you should check out suga and jimin doing Tony Montana. Suga is completely in his element.
This is it!! This is it! You just embodied the reaction that im doing right now!! Hahaha!! God i love you guys
Mind you that this is not their concert but Seo Teaji's 25th anniv. The crowd were mostly in their 40s and many are not ARMY when they came in the stadium but turn one right after the event..
Seo personally taught them the choreo and he let the boys call him Father off cam until now..
BTS did two promotional songs “With Seoul” and “Come Back Home”
Will you be able to react to BTS doing Carpool Karaoke on James Cordon show last night?
The were also on Jimmy Fallon a few days ago maybe last week. They were his only guests and the show was done on the subway, Katz's Deli, and Grand Central Station.
The probably cant its being blocked
Yes, thanks for reacting to this song. It's so dope and their outfits so fly!!! Love it!
u r still one of the most genuine bts reactions channel, I really dont like how many start to use them after getting how interested ARMY are in bts content. ur genuine reaction is what I signed up for ty.
Please react to Suga's older song : "So Far Away", the one featuring Jin and Jungkook. You'll be surprised by the roller coaster of emotion here.
Also, the new rap line single "UGH!". It's a banger :)
