Try getting more vital shots behind the front shoulder or right through the shoulder also buy the tracking dog dlc that makes it alot better

Also learn the guns you shoot the 243 with softnpint is best around 100 yards without the sights at the beginning EVERY SHOT YOU TAKE MUST BE FROM A GOOD BROAD SIDE GO FOR THE LUNGS
