it's been 19 years since Desperate Housewives premiered and she still looks incredibly stunning.
19 years???? Omg im getting old 😂
Lies. It aired last season and she's 21.
Man, she's eye-wateringly attractive.
Remember when she was on the George Lopez show
It's called plastic surgery 😉😉
God we're old
Eva is like a fine wine; better with age. As a Mexican American born and raised in the US who speaks Spanish fluently, I feel the opposite. Here in the US I am embraced as American, at least in the 6 states that I have visited, and when I'm in Mexico I am fully embraced as Mexican. Kudos to you Eva for always representing our beautiful Mexican heritage with pride
Her energy has always been amazing ever since she’s been on camera. She seems like a very positive person. Love that energy!
She act like an airhead dumb upstairs and clueless 😮..
"Where are you _going?"_
"Mommy _works."_
"Well, sure, but where are you _going?"_
Eva, you are so energetic and I always love your laughter.
My daughters first language is Spanish as well and she gives her English speaking father Spanish lessons😂 “Say silla.” “It’s chair.”
My daughters first language is English cuz it’s better
Love Eva Longoria! Beautiful and smart and energetic. I remember her from way back on "Young and the Restless" She was an evil, evil girl on Y&R - awesome!
As a PuertoRican, that dual identity rings so true. You really feel neither here nor there at times, but also 100% both nationalities; especially being from a colonized country that keeps it’s identity separate from the US. I’m glad she brought that up and it’s good to know others struggle with this too.
FYI, the USA was a colonized country, too, almost as long as PR.
Honestly, noAmericanisjust "American". We´re all from other places even though we´re 5th generationU.S. born. It´s nuts. Many Americans will say "I´m Italian", e.g. when nobody in their family has set foot in that country in over 100 years!
@@charlynegezze8536 it’s common of species to claim the place they arrive as their own.
PR was a colonized region. Try telling Puerto Ricans they’re not Puerto Ricans, regardless of politics and social issues, or try to convince any other group they’re not from the actual place they live presently.
There is a strong European (colonizers) presence in all American countries. In the colonial US, the main factor was the almost complete genocide of the local groups, something no "American" should be proud.
Ni soy de aquí ni soy de allá
The world baseball classic allows for players to play for the us or Puerto Rico. I think most play for PR. I think of how insane the us team would be if you ever become a state!
"Mexico is full of beautiful people."
amen
I've met many beautiful people of all ages from Mexico in the USA.
Nah Brazil better
Love! Her
I've bingewatched all the seasons of desperate housewives about three times. In my life😂
Will watch again over 5 years from now. (Forgot most)
I'd certainly enjoy seeing more of her.
Loved Desperate Housewives.
I remember watching it when I was younger, staying with my aunt, but I would LOVE to rewatch the show again as an adult. I feel like there's so much I would enjoy about the show from the little bits I remember from then.
What a lovely woman.
she speaking Stephen's language ! 🥂
She definitely has to play Christina Carpenter (Sam and Tara’s mother) in Scream 7.
Gosh how I love that rendition of "You are my sunshine"
Absolutely gorgeous as usual
Love her!!! Funny gorgeous intelligent. God bless her husband!!
What an awesome gal!
I love how she’s pouring Stephen some more tequila as the segment ended!
I've always liked this lady. Funny, smart. I still remember certain scenes from Desperate Housewives that cracked me up. Her little boy is adorable! And also - Cocktails are good!!!
That's a remarkable lady, body and mind.
She reminded me of my sister, who also majored in Chicano Studies.
She became a teacher and was taken by covid. 😥💗
Im so sorryy 😢
@@kitkatkevz Thank you very much.
Sorry for your loss
@@adelaferreira4575 Thank you.
She helped bring us John Wick, she's pretty great just for that.
She is so stunning and one of uplifting celebrities but still down to earth and reachable person who is interesting, inspiring and very open minded woman. I love this woman!
So many fresh quality tequilas! I'm not a big fan but if Eva makes it I'll try it. Thanks, Eva.
Stunning, stunning woman.
Agreed.
Better with age to me ❤
I wish they was a revival of desperate housewives ! I loved the show !!!!
I saw her in marbella during NY.. she was so small and petite ❤
My goodness, she's beautiful! 🥺💙
Miss her in Desperate Housewives 😭🫶🏻
She's Gorgeous 🥵
She is an amazing and beautiful woman. Great ambassador for Mexico.
She is Adorable 🥰 beautiful and smart.. you go girl
And yes I totally agree and understand the 100% both and belonging to neither as a dual citizen 😢 and it’s a journey for life
There is a significant Mexican population in Detroit where I live and Ive had all its food from Tex Mex to the more authentic restaurants and street food. I thought that was it until I saw Gordon Ramsey Uncharted series explore Mexico. There is still much more for me to try especially after watching him literally uncover food in the desert.
Used to be More Tex/Mex. Stay off of Bagley. Hit Vernor. That's more Jalisco style food.
@@susyngarza yes!! Vernor closer to Dearborn has much more authentic.
I loved her wardrobe in Desperate Housewives! Rewatching right now
THANK YOU EVA LONGORIA ON A BETTER REPUTATION & EXPLANATION OF OUR NORTHWESTERN ANCESTORS (VIVA LA MADRE TERRA) ❤1/3 OF AMERICA 🇺🇸 WAS ONCE MEXICO 🇲🇽 BRAVA
Eva is such a treasure!
She is 48🤣🤣🤣
My only wish is that this had been longer. No soy de aquí, ni soy de allá.
I’ve never watched any of her stuff, but seems smart, wearing long sleeves around open flames.
Loved her comedy chops in Brooklynn '99!
She is so naturally funny. Her timing and expressions are so hilarious. I rank her with the best goddesses of comedy.
"I drink her Tequila, anytime! Chica es muy delicioso!"
5:45 "You've described yourself as 100% American and 100% Mexican at the same time."
Sure, Stephen. 100% of Mexico is in America, along with most (though not all) of the United States.
Mexicans are Mexicans America is a continent l you wouldn’t call Egyptians Africans first 😂
@@illumantix3008 shut up
I love Eva!!
I just googled and read her masters thesis on latino education and it's really good
CDMX 💜
Me too!
100% Mexican
100% America
Also Italian
If more "Texans" were like Eva, I wouldn't be so worried about the country. Between FL & TX, we're in trouble.
Agreed
Eva Longoria was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 15, 1975, therefore, she will be celebrating her 48th birthday on March 15, 2023
damn she still look incredible
1 of the Funniest show ive Ever seen missher comedy show hes A lucky Man Tec1 Latin lover .❤
Don't use the topochico use mineragua!
Topo Chico has bad stuff in it I think. Uses mineragua
So, funny story for anyone interest... Her cousin was my instructor for line school. I had 3 months of lineman school for AT&T [climbing the telephone poles, going in utility holes] and he had that as one of his trivias. He was a short, old fella but a total hardass with a phenomenal personality. He & his wife are avid foster parents, he estimated dozens. He's one of those guys that you'll randomly think of for the rest of your life. Says they have family gatherings in a certain spot but she's only showed up [maybe] once. Says she stays away from the [whole] family for the most part apparently but they don't hold anything against her. He said they'd rather her be happy in her life than pretend to be. Very, very cool guy. Just wanted to let anyone know about him cuz he's really worth mentioning.
damn.. that's kind of sad. I've been a fan of hers since Desperate Housewives and I know she's close to her parents and her sisters. And she seems down to earth. But I guess maybe not so close to extended family.
she didn't change a bit! Even her expressions. She looks exactly the same !
She looks finer than she did 10 years ago
Some parts of Latinas age backwards, that's why.
She does!
She showed up with tequila and a pound cake. Damn
"Tequila" brings back memories of miserable mornings .
You must have chased it with beer!
@@ramblerdave1339 Quite possibly - i'm a Beer guy 99%.
Charming
I'm a Texican and grew up around a lot of Texicans. I know what Eva means about not being either here nor there. Having skin on the lighter side, many Mexicans called me gringa, but when I moved to New Orleans, white people (i.e. my then girlfriends family and an occasional stranger as well) actually called me the N-word. It's always been crazy to me the importance people place on race. I personally call myself a Mutt and love it.
she's awesome!
I went to college with her... she was so tiny... :)
She should run for Congress.
she's way too honest to be working for congress 😉
Nah she would do terrible
I'm currently breastfeeding and daydreaming of the day I can drink tequila once again lol 💭
Eva is gorgeous woman..😍🥰
Lovely 😊
Good on you Eva. For showing your heart and for reminding us that woman do. Have a heart too. And to Mr. Taylor, Boohoo Mona. You never sounded better than Mocking that bird with Carly. No disrespect to Ms. King. But really? Where are you planning on going with this cause you missed the boat.
she is so gorgeous
Yes! Tajín FTW!
We are the same age and she is very beautiful, the young people of today think 48 years of age is old but its a young age nowadays anyway a very beautiful lady.🥰
Gabrielle ❤
I am also very wealthy and during covid had my servants make me many cocktails.
I have literally not heard anyone mention Telenovela since it got cancelled.
I know she’s said she likes producing and directing more but I wish she’d show up on screen more. Beauty like hers should not be hidden behind the camera!
Her son is so cute!
So basically eva stayed home getting drunk lol
She looks so good for her age omg.
Cool lady!
I want the cocktail 🍹 recipe 🥃 😊
they're called ranch waters... not a new thing.. topo, lime and taquilla. everyone is TX drinks them.
@@sharonmickey4566 Thanks! I was scrolling through to see if anyone mentioned the topo which I couldn't quite catch.
I hope CBS is OK with this. Is this not drinking on the job?
Does Stephen get paid for this? Drink on TV for free? Nice!
shes really bubbly and down to earth will havew to try her tequila!
I love the boy, he's so cute
Did Eva thinks she was rolling dice or something lol😅😅
Effervescent, unencumbered, gigglelicious… best wishes, health, joy and wellbeing 🤸🏾♂️ 🖖🏼
If her family is originally from Texas before Texas was a part of America then she's more American than most Americans! Btw still so fine @ 47
Casa Del Sol. So that explains the walk-on music choice.
Dear Late Show: When guests present their drink concoctions, please list the ingredients/quantities? Thanks, your thirsty adult beverage and Late Show fans.
Canada is the US largest trading partner. Mexico is second and China third.
Still hot. That's goood❤
I've been checking out shows she has been on for a while now and one thing I have noticed here on this show with Colbert is how she seems to be losing her accent.
I don't know maybe I am wrong.
Eva, Canada is America's biggest trading partner. Mexico is catching up but is still behind.
Does it matter how they’d refer to learning a second language as having a door at a young age after which time (when it’s closing) it’s hard to learn with fluency and ease?
Meester Eddie . . .
Mexico is in North America so Mexican-American is redundant. Everyone who lives in the western hemisphere is American
That "hyphen talk" reminds me of the speech about being Mexican-American in the movie "Selena": ua-cam.com/video/Sw5bA8cVF-E/v-deo.html
Woman still fine as hell!
I'd love to try that tequila.
See, I'm not an alcoholic, because the tequila is not what I wanted to try.
@@ericminch lol, I'm not an alcoholic either. I just want to try the drink.
@@ericminch lol, I'm not an alcoholic either. I just want to try the drink.
He's having a rough time looking at her face. Up higher Stephen, a little higher, up.
Canada is the largest trading partner I believe.
I'm concerned about Stephen's drinking problem.
If we legalized most of the drugs and then treated them like alcohol where "use" is allowed, BUT,...... abuse gets you treatment or jail depending. This would put the cartels out of business, which would help Mexico greatly. There would still be a few totally illegal drugs but they would be easier to deal with for several reasons.
Alcohol abuse is not a joke. Stephen and his producers and writers must do better!
George F. Koob, director of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism:
“What we’ve been picking up with numerous small studies is that about 25% of the population increased their drinking and these individuals were people who were drinking to cope with stress. And many people who drink to cope with stress inevitably go on to have an alcohol use disorder.”
Please get a grip, take accountability for your problem because in the real world, people aren’t responsible for your problems and triggers.
Must do better with what? Not to mention alcohol at all? Having a drink with a guest is not sitting and getting wasted. It is nothing different then having a pop. Some guests appreciate it.
