Yes, I also would recommend Teacher Teacher Official Live MV as well as songs from the Live in Kiev like Pit Of Consciousness or On The Top. Also Perennial Live at Wacken is good, well just about anything by them is good.
From the same concert, the band does an epic version of "Words of Wisdom" (Live, Napalm Records). It is literally the next song and well worth the time to react to it. (subbed)
G'day Ryan - Great Choice 😉. I felt the same about the vocals, initially a little unsure about the sheer amount of growling - but everything performed so well, fit together perfectly, with great views of guitars and drum work, that this had to be the one to check out. And who said that you can't dance to metal?! Tatianna was having a blast.
I love Who Is Gonna Be The One, definitely an early favorite of mine. I'm glad you added the notes about checking the lyrics, I love Jinjer's music, Tatiana's melodies and especially her lyrics! I think for me, I was struck immediately by the lyrics in Pisces, which essentially talk about a vulnerable person being torn apart. Then I loved the balking against narrow mindedness, judgemental attitudes and abuse of power in songs like Teacher Teacher, On The Top, and Judgement & Punishment. I think the two things that made Jinjer my favorite band ever, apart from the fantastic music and beautiful singing (and to me that now includes describing Tatiana's growling as beautiful!), was the many songs that touch on the two issues most important to me, the two things that kill the most people in the world: 1. Poverty (No Hoard of Value, On The Top and Mediator are the first few songs that come to mind), which kills about fifty thousand people every day, one third of all the deaths each day, caused entirely by capitalism which has always been fascistic (if this statement makes you balk, you very much need to read a book by a former US State Department official, William Blum who has said, "if you told most people the things that the US has done, they wouldn't even believe you": Killing Hope - US Military and CIA Interventions since WWII, alternate title, How Jimmy Carter and I started Al-Qaeda). 2. Our climate collapse that is underway which will almost certainly kill all life on earth starting with humanity in the next two to four years (see Guy McPherson and MEER Reflection Framework). Here the songs that come to mind are both the ones explicitly about pollution and climate collapse (the whole Cloud Factory album, plus others) as well as all the songs about fascism/capitalism, the cause of both poverty and the climate collapse as well as all wars in most people's lifetimes today (Dip A Sail, When Two Empires Collide, Sit Stay Roll Over, Home Back, again Mediator and On The Top, Disclosure!, etc). Thank you for bringing more of the fantastic music of Jinjer to more people! ❤🖤🤘
Great comment, except I don't think that climate change "will almost certainly kill all life on earth starting with humanity in the next two to four years". There's a lot of metal by right wing douche bags, so when I hear a metal song I like musically, I always check the lyrics to see if I can stomach the message. Jinjer is one of those where I actually *agree* with the message, & I can't overstate how happy it makes me.
More Jinjer please... Any is good. My personal favourite is Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev. Rather heavy but Tatiana, Eugene, Roman, and Vlad absolutely destroy it! Thank you for the reaction. 🔥🖤
Eugene's bass work in this almost made me go spend money I don't really have on a 5-string after ~30yrs of playing. That 2-octave-up-&-back-down fingertapped run is *ridiculous* , & some of his choices over Roman's guitar chugs before the breakdown are inspired too. All 4 of them are *top-tier* tho. :)
many thanx for your interest in Jinjer!!!! Jinjer is so much more than a metal band, they are absolutely great musicians and the lyrics are very good too, and...................................... !!!!!!!!!! maybe next time the brand new video: Disclosure! (Official Video) many thanx and lovely greetings from a german musician
Yep. It's a call to action & protest in regards to environmental issues. In Cloud Factory (the title track of the same album) she is singing from an antagonistic perspective.
That's been my favorite song for a long time. I love the message. Then too, the first time I saw them in concert I was standing next to a stack of speakers when she went into the low growls at the 4-minute mark of the video and they shook my whole body which was unforgettable. That "Disclosure" that was being suggested is fire too, as are all of their concert videos and a lot more. For something with less growls and some epic belting, check I Speak Astronomy which is also one of the few love songs Tatiana has ever written. Perennial live at Wacken is a bit lighter than this and really shows of her clean technique. Cheers!
Honestly Jinjer has changed me. I felt the same way when I first started listening to them, but now I can't get enough of Tatiana's screams. I'd HIGHLY recommend Judgement (& Punishment) One Take, as well as Wallflower, which is the lead track for their latest album. Wallflower is a lot calmer overall, but it's incredibly impactful and musically gorgeous
Ryan, you are now Jinjer "woke" 😀. It is great to watch the reactions of new Jinjer fans being born. Dig on "perennial" live as soon as you can. That one is another great live song to watch.
You lucky dog, Ryan. You get to be somewhat of a Jinjer virgin. I'm really looking forward to seeing all your Jinjer reactions and reviews. What's next? How 'bout: "Pisces": ua-cam.com/video/SQNtGoM3FVU/v-deo.html "Perennial": ua-cam.com/video/bxi3i9wzQBk/v-deo.html "Teacher Teacher": ua-cam.com/video/oRkRwL0vjOg/v-deo.html "I Speak Astronomy": ua-cam.com/video/KJoPIgg17U4/v-deo.html Or even more brutal -- "Sit Stay Roll Over": ua-cam.com/video/a98LI-arNS4/v-deo.html Plus their new album, Wallflower and about 50 more awesome songs. Bassist - Eugene Abdiukhanov Guitarist - Roman Ibramkhalilov Drummer- Vladislav Ulasevich Vocalist -Tatiana Smailyuk
i don't think you get the meaning of the song. she is asking YOU the listener if you're going to be the one. it's not really an agreeable or disagreeable question if you don't know what the question actually is. this is basically a protest song against environment issues caused by us humans. "don't step aside" and let the world go to shit.
Go back before you go forward yes, Ok! Song - Scissors 2012 they haven’t completed the band as we know yet Song - Outlander 2014 has a nice reggae vibe in it I would highly suggest, Teacher Teacher (Official Video) has live concert footage In that song, it is very unique to the others It really is a musical ride Showcases her ever soaring range Teacher Teacher & Perennial Live @ Wacken Happy Jinjer Journey ✌️🎶🌸😊
Floor may be the greatest vocalist of our time, but Tatiana is not far down the list. Legend has it that she was once asked to describe her vocal range. Her answer was, "Yes."
@@RyanMear yup but it sucks for us, you know we like to listen loud, just saying you could drop your end without affecting ours. but thanks for the response.
I Speak Astronomy if you want less growls and epic vocals...
No comment, just a great song reacted on by a great person, nothing less
Keep your finger off the stop button.
Go watch the original video!

Ouffff... when Tatiana hits those "roar" i just dmmmmm....hard....but when she sings with "clean" vocal...love it.. she's amazing... Sexy voice
yeah, the bass line is insane, there is bass playthrough by Eugene at YT!

For sure, she is something to behold!
JINJER - Pit of Consciousness 🤘🏼
More Ryan! Moar!
My favorite from them is "I Speak Astronomy". It has more clean vocals in it and I enjoy the lyrics quite a bit being a scientist. :D
Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) next please, cheers

I have to agree with you. I liked it better than I expected.
That's because you have great taste Joe.
Love that bit at the end...perfect way to complete a song like this

"Pit Of Consciousness" (Live In Kiev) is a masterpiece. Taty offers a master class in growling.
When learn the band's history, the lyrics make a Hell of a lot more sense.
Try "Home Back"
It's heartbreaking 😭
Ryan, you are now Jinjer "woke" 😀. It is great to watch the reactions of new Jinjer fans being born.
Dig on "perennial" live as soon as you can. That one is another great live song to watch.
Check out Cloud Factory. Official live version.
Their Pit of Consciousness live Kiev in Ukraine is 🔥
Being able to hear the lyrics clearly is a feature for a rare number of bands: Metallica, Pink Floyd, etc.
Nice reaction man, this band is awesome, saw them in Moscow last september, was great...

Yup. I get it now as well. Wow. That was a trip, dude.
Welcome to the Jinjer rabbit hole! You next need to react to “JINJER - Perennial (Live at Wacken Open Air 2019)”
If you haven't yet...look at the lyrics from this entire album...the lyrics are unbelievable!
Multy talented vocal🤘👍😍
I highly recommend Jinjer Perennial Live at Wacken 2019! Lots of really nice clean singing in that
All of the above, plus, 'Just Another' is (just another) gem of theirs.
Love that you noticed Vlad's T-shirt! People rarely pay attention

More Jinjer!!!
Jinjer is a spectacular band! All Hail Queen Tati!
Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is some next level heaviness from Jinjer.
I've got to see them live once. They're freaking amazing.
Strictly speaking I like her cleans better.
Jinjer - Dreadful Moments
Nice deep cut.
top top firm they are indeed.....
Epic performance!

if so, that's awesome!
@@RyanMear Not sure it's anything more than a legend, but it's a damned fun legend.
why did you turn it down ? 2:45 ... that sucked. nice reaction but come on ...
Because it was way louder than what I was set up for......
