26 yrs ago both of parents went to rest with the Lord....this song always gets me back to then....from Kenya
A genuine christian is torn between going and remaining. To go and be with the Lord, and remaining to enjoy the fellowship with brethren.

I lost my Mom unexpectedly on November 20, 2019. This was one of her favorite songs, and she loved the Gaithers. I am hurting. Singing it with them is bittersweet and the tears are flowing.

I wrote If We Never Meet Again in 1982. My maternal grandmother was in a coma and I didn't know if she would recover. Two days later she passed away, on April 8.
Just shocked how old this band is. May the ones departed RIP. Soon we shall meet on the beautiful show. Thank you so much for writing this song, May you be blessed

Ye, Bily Ann, the player was one of Gaither's best pianists. He died of a heart attack at age 44 while on a Gaither cruize.
