I'm so glad that we are now in the era where we talk about the feel of a software or an app. After listening to this podcast, It's getting clear that the next decade is of creators who can design and engineer products/animation/prototypes etc.
Listen, I do not say this often. This video was curated and made into a fountain of relevant and applicable knowledge. I have been fascinated with Janum's work for awhile now but his depth of experience seemed so out of my domain especially as I am an iOS developer as well. Then I found out this episode dropped. Thank you. This is definitely a corner stone in my experience and progression to the next level as an iOS developer.
What a genius guy, I really loved the Arc animation as i use it daily and wonder who even come up with this and here i am listening to the genius himself 👌
Thanks for a great interview, shader is a block box for most iOS devs as well. But all those juicy animations of apple like airdrop / money transfer / siri makes me wanna learn it so bad :)
This was great! Is there a way for us to get to the behind the scenes of these designers? Get a snapshot of what their figma files look like. How are they organised etc.

one of my favorite interactions in any product I use
This episode is so good ! Janum did a fantastic job explaining the behind the scenes. Love it
ya I put him on the spot a few times 😅 but he crushed it
Fantastic video! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
I'm literally using Cursor to learn Swift UI right now and thank you so much for the book of shaders thing its such a hack!!!
ya I was on it last night. Such a good resource 🙌

I'm using React Native, but should I switch to iOS/Android native for smoother animations?
Pretty different value props. Anything native will allow for smoother interactions but that comes at the cost of building/maintaining 2 apps :)
