With a few days of elbow grease you can make them look really nice again! And the great thing is, parts are so cheap for these that it won't cost an arm and a leg :)
Hele mooie restauratie!
Ive got a tip for you, for some reason a lot of detailers do this wrong but don't start of with the pressure wasser, start of with a absorbing towel preferably one that is specially made for cars with al the cloth things sticking out(idk the name of it, the thing u used before claying the car) because the pressure washer will just push all the dirt and debris in the paint making scratches and doing damage instead of washing, so start by hand cleaning then do pressure washer and then the rest
That's really interesting but I gotta ask, isn't that going to cause just more swirls and scratches? I always thought you should try to remove as much dirt as possible with just a stream of water, before you start your contact wash with a wash mitt or something else
@@trailsdetails4061 No, just don't start with the pressure washer, start with the normal hose and a bucket with water and soap, this will get all of your dirt off.
Definitely! 90's Toyota's are legendary when it comes to reliability, just the paint is usually kinda weak and rust can sometimes be an issue. This one, apart from cosmetic stuff was still very solid! It ran like a dream in the time that I had it
Hold on... WHAT THE FUCK. I'm looking at starlet videos, I see the thumbnail, think to myself is this fucking hamsterwheel, I click on it and it is! since when was this a thing????
Enjoyed the video👍, keep it up!! I am an owner of a toyota starlet 1996 and am also giving it a makeover, do you know a good website for parts that you can recommend me? Ps: am also from the netherlands✌
Hey Jordy!
Well done! Yours looked much better than my recently bought 1995 in white....

Mooie video. Heb vorig jaar in precies zon rode gereden. Heerlijke auto nooit iets mee gehad.
Great example of what a bit of work can achieve!

Hey dankje!

Very soon! The roadtrip is done and I'm editing down the video :)
