Why I Quit Frostborn & Why I Returned!

- Do you play Last Day on Earth? If so, chances are pretty good that you've probably heard about Kefir's other game; Frostborn. As a ldoe player I naturally felt at home in Frostborn...but my experience has been full of ups and downs since I started. The season 8 update was a turning point for my Frostborn playtime...in a good way. :)
What's your Frostborn experience been like? ❄
Haven't played it yet, I think I should name my character "Friendly player" or "friendly K" to avoid getting killed

I’m loving it, The game gets way way better when u get a family to survive together with, especially a good one. It just makes ur progress 10 times faster

These games are a waste of time.
The reason I left the game was first the matchmaking was trash class 2 players against class 4 with full legendary gear and also they were 3 or 4 while we were only 2 even in raids we saw our hardworking just being taken away from these players and secondly it wasn't that rewarding at the time like 7 8 months ago when I left season pass was extremely hard to fill and caches in odin just gave rune instead of weapons so overall it wasn't fun or grind but p2w
New subscriber here, i saw your last video doing season, good luck!! hopefully you completed the season and you get all those rewards. I just wanna say that its very important that you upgrade the classes you really want by donating those blue and green items that you got, because its very important to have high level classes if you wanna do pvp or doing odin. Don't waste your time repairing those green items because its not worth it to repair it. Just repair those purple items that you use when your doing odin

I'd say it's at least worth checking out if you're a ldoe fan. :)
simple, i quit because of the raid systems. i played this game more than a year, so my level reached max level. sure i got a lot of resources but when the raid started(by force cuz if u dont, the raid start when im offline), i got match with player same level as me. imagine grinding for few months worth just got stolen. im not a pro player in pvp but i do know how to get resources from pve maps.
I don't play ldoe that much since before. I only play it when there's a furniture/design on every seasons. Any Tips to have motivation to play ldoe?
100% same only play when furniture in seasons also need motivation
Does it even get decent updates anymore? Also does it have multiplayer? I left after getting Police bike skin about 4-5 years ago.
they are working it out...i perefer kdoe than frostbirn only bec of its grahoic,if only frostborn grpahic like ldoe,it would be cool..but yhey are working on ldoe multiplayer,just wait

I quit for around a year mainly due to
-the grind
-raiding
-my internet got much worse
-too hard for higher lvl classes
I came back In s8 and I think seasons are a great idea

I lost my LDOE. My son linked his LDOE to my apple account. Deleted the game by accident and when I reloaded, his account popped up.

Ahh, damn! I can't imagine how much that stings. I wonder if support could do anything...the overwrite could make that tough, but I'd reach out just to see. 😓

its is worth playing right now. the season pass has been very generous. u can get so much good stuff for free which can help you on pvp and pve
Some season u missed that had level 3 classes for free in season
Phew, that sounds amazing! All the lvl 3 classes I've seen take 10,000 + mastery points.

At first it was entertaining then it was becoming more and more tedious and frustrating, especially when I led clan to the top of the server. By that moment i wasn't playing for me, was for them and their trust that I am really thankful to had but eventually, with all the changes, the seasons, the raids and more, frostborn was no longer frostborn, was like a duty and a Game is not supposed to feel like that, therefore I sold My account and swore to never come back.
It really stings when you lose all of your hard earned stuff because of advanced players in just a matter of seconds Anyways epic vid and stream when?

One time i was doing odin and i died then i go back to oden but i die again nad then i quit for 2 years bc i had good stuff on my account in Frostborn . But now i played it again and im rich now😁 i wish you good luck in the game nd with the grind👍😁
frost born is a tough game where if u dont learn to pvp at low lvl then u wont be able to progrress unless u spend 3 grand on damage to players runes like some people did and kill people in 3 or 4 shots xD its extreamily beneficial to do raids when ur low lvl and kill others who are worse then u in pvp in those raids i am saying that coz in zones u will match with max lvl players but in raids u will only get people 20 lvls or less below you or 20 lvls or less above you seasons are awesome for getting good gear and l recomend joining a frost born trading server coz if you are f2p u wont be able to get a lot of things without trading

for me it was just ldoe but multiplayer, i do not do well unless im alone.
They did say frostborn is coop PvP game so get some team mates to do some work xD

Ouch! Sounds like a grade a drugar. I'm not sure about any reporting system in Frostborn.
This game needs a different approach, you won't stack loads and loads of staff because you can lose them very easy , it's preferable to put all of your stuff in classes , district and base upgrading. It's seems frustrating and hard but when you succeed it's damn satisfying . Also one thing that was missing in your live is coop , this game is made for 4 teams players and if you play alone you will be at a disadvantage
I've been working on my district a good bit...hit a wall with the silver though. Looking forward to nabbing a good bit in the next season pass hopefully. I'll get around to mp when I hit that progression wall. Looks like there's some stuff that's just not possible solo.
@@Pressingx yeah silver is a p2w element but it was worse before , now you can get it in seasons and clan . You can team up with someone and start doing Odin's , when you have a good class (fmage 3 for example is perfect for Odin Solo) you will now everything about the game and you'll know what to do

I was an advance player. Almost finished assassin 4 but they nerfed it. So went for Duelist 4. But still the game became boring and I tried to do Odin twice a day for the mastery points which was exhausting. So I am taking a long break. I hope they fix runes and other issues. Then I might come back. U will have a lot of fun as a new player. I can guaranteed you xd.

Frostborn has a terrible scaling system. In the beginning you can progress rapidly by farming green/yellow zones. Soon, you'll need advanced resources that force you to go to harder pvp zones, which are always dominated by much higher levelled players. So, farming something like maple gets increasingly difficult, and eventually a casual f2p player hits a ceiling, that is extremely difficult to break through, and without a sense of progression, most players quit. The game is not at all for casuals, which I feel is unhealthy for the game.
Yup, I couldn't imagine playing this as a casual ftp. Losing stuff that took hours of grinding would be demoralizing.
