Thank you very much Andy! As always your videos are very instructional.
Concerning the 7th kata, you mentioned that Uchidachi should break eye contact after the Men - Nuki Do. That's how I learnt it in France before coming to the UK. However, 2 ~ 2.5 years ago, my french senseis told me that AJKF made some minor changes to some katas, and among them, Uchidachi should no longer break eye contact on the 7th one, but keep looking at Shidachi. However, the tricky thing is that when I asked them about it again last year, they answered that, after all, many senseis were not in favour of this change and did not embrace it. So we practice both versions, and my dojo's stance is, at a seminar, do whatever the Sensei teaches. (as always)
Once again thank you, stay safe, and I'm looking forward to your next videos

    Hi Andy sensei,
In terms of Kata number 3, regarding to Uchitachi, I have been told that when Shitachi tsuki back, Uchitachi will move the left foot first so the sequence is left-right-left-right-left. However in your video, you said that Uchitachi move right foot first then it will be right-left-left-right-left. Both way will end with right foot in front. Can you explain? thanks

The way demonstrated in this video (Right-Left-Left-Right-Left) is the correct method.
You can see an example in this demonstration from the All Japan 8th Dan Championships - ua-cam.com/video/QuZj8IADBLg/v-deo.html
