The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Summer Games took place in Japan, from July 23, 2021 to August 8, 2021.
I am so proud of Siobhan Haughey and she finally got on the podium in the biggest stage of competition. Australian and Canadian did great job as well..
Siobhan was the quiet achiever in these games. She had World gold in her cabinet. She will be a future Olympic gold medallist if she can stay fit.
@@Fuzcapp Definitely. Do you follow her news?
she looks like a very nice person as well. Her smile......>
Yes and the Australian she lost to is a huge doper so she is the real gold medalist. In fact the entire Australian swim team are always all dopers. Ian Thorpe is one of the biggest dopers ever. Kierin Perkins too. I think Grant Hackett is one of their only clean ones.
The Australian ladies were on fire in Tokyo! Taking out the 50m,100m,200m,400m freestyle events!
They got lucky
@@qornn Don’t think so hater! Mckeon and Titmus are the benchmark for their respective events.
@@qornn lol, yeah Arni just “accidentally” breaks the 400 wr just with “luck”… Whoops!!😂
About time ! I was getting tired of the lack of proper competition. Hopes it's just as competitive the next olympics.
yeah cuz schoestorm wasnt there in her form
Siobhan, we HKers are all proud of you.
I'm not a HKers, but I'm pretty proud of her too
@@raymondvictor9386 shes not even chinese
She represents Hong Kong. She's half Chinese, half Irish.
She’s done amazing for her country. First medalist ever representing Hong Kong
@@sharons4610 no wonder she doesn't look full Asian
Proud of Hong Kong 🇭🇰
after watching a video about pelligrini she is my role model!!! going to the olympics for 17 years and still making an Olympic final is amazing. although she didn’t win a medal, she is def an Olympic legend!!
What a race from titmus. She was mindblowing in the last 60m !!
The 200 free never fails to disappoint - always such a deep field
Susie O'neil won this event in Sydney 2000 in the time of 1:58:24. Titmus, 1:53:50. Massive.
Ariarne Titmus is one of a kind. She always like just start calm behind another contestant but she coming up become no 1, she has really big engine, thats why she called "Terminator"
i love katie ledecky shes a role model in herself although she didnt medal but she is amazing and people had high excepectations for her but people cant always be perfect
Absolutely, i prefer Ledecky to Titmus. If there is a comparison between them at the age of 19-20, i think everyone knows who is stronger.
@@giabaochau9160 And everyone knows whos gonna be stronger in their later ages. :) and its not ledecky at all :P
@@smartasfck i just mean that Titmus is not stronger than Ledecky WHEN BOTH ARE AT THE AGE OF 19-20. Ledecky is 24 now, so she is not the best anymore. You said everyone knows who gonna be stronger at their later ages. So can you answer this question for me when Titmus now is just 20 at tokyo?
@@giabaochau9160 yes i can, answer is titmus
@@giabaochau9160 go and ask ioc to done separate OLYMPICs for each and every age category
From Down Under to on top of the world
Arnie came home in a 28.80. That’s finishing with speed. Wow!!
She came home in 28.45 at trials!
@@XDF745 yup! her splits are insane. her last 50m / 100m are the best in the world right now
@@JessKM Did you see Mollie's last split leading off the 4x200 heat? 28.41
She probably could've gone under 1:55 with a slightly more aggressive race plan.
@@XDF745 Mollie had a breakout games. absolutely! one to watch in the next couple of years. our depth in the 200m is scary. i'm looking forward to seeing what Arnie can do record wise in both the 200m and 400m. very achievable for her right now. she can do better that's what's' exciting. let's hope it all comes together.
@@JessKM the 4*2 was a disappointment for the Aussies, they just gave it away
first time ever that two swimmers each broke 1:54 in the same swim
Please upload Women's Medley Relay Final 🙏
Yes pleaseeee
yes pleasee
AUS won that race right?
Agreed
@@casiecase12 China won!
Thank you, Please upload Women's 400m Full replay as well
Haughey turned in almost exact time that Emma did at the Aus trials - so even tho Siobhan came home much faster than Emma, Titmus would’ve felt very comfortable and familiar with the pacing in this race.
Please upload 400m as well, thanks
Titmus was born a fighter. During the first seconds or even minutes she didn't breathe. But the doctors, her parents, she itself fought for her life. And finaly they all heard a baby cry. She is special!
Ariana Titimus is the new swimming sensation
I like how the Chinese swimmer Yang bowed when being introduced. I've seen the odd swimmer not even acknowledge the crowd when being introduced - to me that's rude. If people take the time to cheer you it takes two seconds to acknowledge them.
"Ledecky just doesn't have the speed". In fairness, Ledecky later dropped a 1:53.7 split in the relay.
Only the first leg counts.
Please upload all swimming finals😥
Yes please
Please upload men and women 800m and 1500m. Thanku
Can you upload the 400m as well
I can’t wait to see the 2024 summer Olympic Games events in Paris France 🇫🇷

Every starter an Olympic medallist apart from Seemanova - every other starter is an Olympic or World gold medallist. Wow! What a field! The Women's version of The Race of The Century!
Titmus is something else🤫
She speeds up when it's the final lap.
Titmus got a huge comeback
❤ wow, titmus is quite the sprinter. when she decides to accelerate from behind, she has the power, speed, and endurance. yet another aussie powered champion (thinking of all the many champion aussie surfers, skateboarders, etc that possess and display fierce powerful aggressive athleticism :)

We need men's race too !!!!!

Wondering Titmus vs Mckeon. Who will win?
Whoever touches the wall first
Titmus already beat McKeon in this event at trials but McKeon.
I like it very much, but nobody asks why there's no latinoamerican swimmers... are they so bad? or there is other criteria when selecting competitors???? wonderful, but very narrowed finally , even if we are talking about "Olympics" games...
There were quite a few swimmers from Latin America in the swimming at the Olympics including 3 in the heats of this event (200 freestyle). Anyone from any country can qualify if they're fast enough.
Ledecky kicked their behind in 800 and 1500 which is more impressive
Nahhh..
It not.. Sorry Amerikano 😂

GOD DAMNIT KATIE.
Katie Ledecky is a fantastic swimmer but these commentators really haven't been paying attention to world swimming if they think this race was always going to be about Titmus and Ledecky. Australian media (which they seem to be) have tunnel vision for the US. They're so obsessed with what times Americans swim that they blind to swimmers from other countries. They did the exact same thing in the women's 100m backstroke: totally ignoring Kylie Masse (who ended up with silver).
It's because the Americans (apart from Ledecky) have such big mouths - eg: their utter posing during their trials, especially around the women's backstroke events (and then Regan didn't even race them!) You mention Kylie Masse deservedly winning silver in the 100 Back (and 200). Just remind me again - who won the Gold? While you're busy critiquing Australian women's swimming, please - remind me again?
It's the other way around genius.. American egos can't accept being defeated by a nation 0.05 % of their population 😂😂😂
At 22 Titmus seems burnt out now. That's swimming.
Woman's backstroke plz.
Ledeky swam 200, 400, 800, 1500... that is impressive
She lost 200 and 400 genius
When you hear the word "Titmus" just throw in the towel! There's no hope!!!
Pretty shitty commentary, they hype up Titmus way too much and don't even consider Haughey as a contender. In truth Haughey put up an amazing race and most people watching live thought she might take Titmus done. Titmus took it out way faster when she swam that 1:53.0, so it felt like she was choking here. Instead she just swam a conservative race.
😁😁😁😁😁😁
