The easiest, creative efficient fix! My boyfriend doesn't trim his kitty's claws often enough & it has created MANY NASTY snags at our new apt which has very light colored carpeting (beige/white!) THANKS big time! U have de-stressed MY mood & our pocketbook (rent deposit)😀
Today kind of feels like I've woken out of a coma. All the sinks are clean and drain easy, tons of dust bunnies took tornado rides, and that snag that has bothered me for years just might bite the dust. AND I've listened to Van Halen "Diver Down" in entirety at the proper volume. I'm such a happy ah right about now.
I put a loop at the end of the thread (made a knot about 1/2" from the end) so I can put the thread through the snag and then through the loop... see the beginning of the video.
This might have just saved me thousands in new carpeting... THANK YOU

When you say you tied a loop wat do u mean (sorry for being a bit thick)

What is the snag does not have a loop for you to put the needle through?
Wrap the thread around the strand (a little past the middle / towards the end) and then pull it through.

Now put a dab of hot glue on the snag so it doesn't come out and it is permanent.
The snag is pulled through adjacent carpet material. It’s no longer visible.
