I’ll comment cuz I know it helps you out. Thanks for the video- I’m feeling frustrated by real estate agents who don’t want to help me until I get a pre approval and debating on just getting a real estate license so I can buy my own home.
This is amazing I'm currently studying this and free lance writing it's great knowing what I want to do for a living! The % of success and $ arent relevant for me personally it's about the type of work that inspires me to dive into these professions thank you for making this video. Subscribed.
Thank you I appreciate all the honesty that you provided I was considering becoming a real estate agent until I watch this video LOL that's a lot of work for that little bit of money I think I'll look for something else
I’m thinking of real estate as a career and I just got a name and contact info for some guy selling millions. His friend gave it to me talking about an internship so I’m really looking into real estate now… I’m on the fence, should I just intern for a while and see how I like it?
Is it a paid internship? It would be a win win to be paid to learn the ropes as you consider this career path. I don't know about your state, but there is a number of expected course hrs (u pay for), then the exam. U take the exam until u pass. Find a brokerage, (pay fees) join the Realtor's Association in your area ( fees), and u are a Realtor. A job and money in your savings is MOST HELPFUL while waiting to create and finalize deals. Sounds like you have a great opportunity!🙂
Hello Ken. I enjoyed watching your video, it gave me insight on what I would be doing as a real estate agent. I thought this video was very informative and would love to get in contact with you to receive more insight. Thank you for this video, great job!
I believe there are some real estate agents work that hard, but I bet 90% of them don't do 50% of what you said. You said it yourself "only 10-20% make it past year 3".
Agreed. The majority don’t have a schedule, don’t prospect for new business, and quickly realize it’s not as easy to make a living as they anticipated!
You're scaring me, but I prefer honesty than lies. Btw, I thought real estate agents bought houses/apartments themselves (with a loan) and sold them/rented them. Or worked in a firm to do so.
I think I have great talking and people skills since I’m great on my schools debate team and being somewhat of your own boss and building your wealth while being financially literate sounds like the dream. It’s sounds pretty complicated going off what you said in the video but that just tells me I got a lot to learn
Exactly! U won't learn all this out of the gate! It takes a while! I'm sure Ken started out learning about all he shared over time. Being in real estate for 10 yrs one should BE knowledgeable and confident. 🙂 BUT, gotta start somewhere!😉
I knew you guys usually get on the computer and do paper and do thing with the important people. Like the buyers and the other different people but I didn't know it was as hard
Any thing new IS hard. You learn the trade with a really good mentor that guides and teaches u. In my state, u have to sell 8 homes before I am knowledgeable and seasoned to do contracts by myself. You are never alone! Your broker is there to support you! Ken started out learning! We as new realtors don't know what we don't know til we know by doing!😉
Spend more time on the long game. Reinvest back in your your business (marketing/people) before raising your lifestyle. Your number one job as an agent is lead generation. That never changes.
Alot of detail - but for anyone who comes from REAL physical labor type of work - no, its not alot of "work" - just alot of mental effort and dedication. So, with that being said, it should be viewed as an opportunity with alot of potential to live an easier life than the average person who does REAL hard work.
Compared to what a Homeowner does to there home ,, A Real Estate Agent dont do Shit ! for the money , I would NEVER use an agent, they are OVER paid , in comparison to what a land owning home owner does and spends to keep there home in shape,, FULL of BS
Thank you so much for this video!
It really helps giving me more insight about this career.

Appreciate the honesty of how hard it is selling home no bs just straight up
Then a realtor is a intermediary between the consumer (buyer) and constructor(seller) right?
Correct
Middle man. Sort of like a drug dealer. They gate keep the source and profit from you

Next time you meet an agent. Ask how much real estate they own. Most don’t own much.
That sounds like property investment. Realtors do more than just property investing! Go shadow a realtor!😉
Good video thanks

Great video, thanks.

Lots of moving parts. One thing I failed to mention is how we essentially become a therapist many times too 😂

great job
Abby Mathew. Appreciate it!
If a college student ever asked for your biggest honest mistakes, what would they be and why?

Thanks
me researching this for a character in my comic lmao
00:50 01:33 Did your interior change colors?!😲
Doe' do i haha! I had to drop my car off at the dealership mid-day!
Wow! That’s a lot of work.
Best job there is :)

I’m just an 18 year old autistic boy I really don’t know if I’m ready to do these type of business work
You look a little bit like the trainspotting guy
I like this video so I need to be good at math?
Lol it’s not a bad idea
It's simple repetitive math equations! You'll get down pat! You'll be trained by a mentor in the firm. 🙂
Do I have to be good looking like you to sell
😂no sir
❤️❤️Priceless 🤣🤣
Thats a lot of work for $15,000
Haha that’s why so many work two jobs 😬
@@kenpozek doesn't seem worth it to do real estate
*I know guys with no personalities and they make good money selling houses. Not sure how these dry ppl make a sell?*
BS
Realtors suck
I’m sure your mom is proud of you
@@kenpozek she's not, she thinks I suck so I just pass the hate on others.
Realtors suck to the extent everyone else does (a lot)
🤠
That’s about the realest thing I’ve heard in a min
@@kenpozek Chris foster sucks
They suck and make a lot of money. That's why they got into it, to be parasitic and make a lot of money for little value added work
