As an oily girl, I totally agree that your need a moisturizer even with a hydrating sunscreen. I am uncontrollably greasy when I don't have a moisturizer on first. I use the CeraVe PM lotion.
For me it doesnt matter if I have a mositurizer on or not before sunscreen. I am naturally greasy. Lol. So I just use a moisturizer-sunscreen gel thats very light and then followed by a true sunscreen (Biore UV).
@@hansquintos701 I'm greasy either way, too. But I find that it happens faster when I don't wear my moisturizer. I can go three or four hours without blotting when I moisturize. I have maybe an hour when I don't.
Even with dry sensitive skin I find a morning cleanse with cleanser helpful. It’s like the cleanse is also an opportunity to hydrate more deeply, and I like knowing my night time products aren’t in the way of my morning products absorbing.
Bioderma sebium cleanser is so good for oily or combo skin too. I only use it at night but it’s very gentle but deep clean, gets waterproof makeup and spf off by itself and balances oil over time.
yess both the pink and blue bottle are amazing, i have tried both and dont really see a difference so i would go with the pink bottle because it has no fragrance
@@fadleadam really? For me the pink one didn’t really get off makeup or deep clean it felt more like a morning cleanser. It’s been a while since I tried that one though to be fair.
@@rosalina2773 oh yeah for sure if ur factoring makeup then its best to go for the blue one for a deep clean, but if its just suncreen then the pink should do the job, the blue one foams up more for sure which helps with deep cleaning, but in general for me i got the same results with both they just have a different feeling
I would love a current dry/calming skin care routine video. I’ve started working out and my face is really flushed afterwards. This scares me because I do have a deeper skin tone that’s prone to hyperpigmentation so I’m worried that inflammation will make it worse 😭
I have oily skin and I love the pina-c sunscreen by Garnier. You get vitamin c and sunscreen all in one and it doesn't make you look greasy or have a white cast and I have tan skin 😄
As someone who lives in a very humid and hot country, who sweat like a loootttt, i love to just use my serum (can be vit. C or bakuchiol serum) and spf (cosrx) for am skincare. For night moisturizer i love clinique moisture surge 72h! I’m already on my third jar. It’s not greasy at all, makes my skin feels so soft and plump!
Soooo when are we going to be able to buy Naturium in the UK? I appreciate these types of videos, but I've noticed that you often use products that are only available in the US. I would love to see a routine for oily skin that only uses products that are available globally (or just start selling Naturium in other countries). PS I have super oily skin but I can't cleanse with water in the morning as it makes my skin dry which then causes more oil. Any recommendations on waterless cleansers? xxx
Great recommendations, thank you! Salicylic acid has been a huge game changer for my skin, I love the Neutrogena cream cleanser that has SA and glycolic acid in it
Personally, I think so! I used it without a moisturizer. However I will say that if you sweat a lot on the face, this one sweats off in summer if you are outside for too long. For waterproof sweat proof options, I recommend the Elta MD Restore (also all mineral and waterproof, fairly matte) or Neutrogena Clear Face as a budget option (this one is chemical but I found it tolerable even though I’ve sensitive and it absorbs oil throughout the day)
Now I was told that niacinamide was the ingredient that when it dries down it gets hard and this is the ingredient that tends to pill. Which I’ve been having a hard time with. Please help me address this problem. When I go in with makeup it just looks like a hot mess.
It really depends on your skin's tolerance. Some people do fine with 2% daily while others can't. There are no hard and fast rules. You just have to experiment how often for yourself.
I have combo, leaning oily in T-Zone, acneic and sensitive skin. I tried the Hero Cosmetics sunscreen and it totally burned and ruined my skin barrier. I would not recommend trying this.

Same here as Hans, I find better results by skipping the moisturizer before sunscreen. Also it’s faster 🙌🏽
Me too using cerave pm during the day

@@sailorgrlie lucky you! In my case, even if I apply my moisturizer, or not, My face becomes soooo oily.
Salicylic acid is now a staple ingredient that every oily skin person is using in their routine. Loved the routine and products you used in the video!

Please do a video on teenage skincare. Which product to use and which should be avoided for teenage skincare
A constant struggle with my oily skin! Especially when my skin changes throughout my menstrual cycle 😭

Missing the reaction series! Would love to see your reaction to Kat Dennings Night Time Skincare routine w/ Harper’s BAZAAR 😅
I love these! I have oily skin and this is so helpful

Hi Susan, code for PMD discount is not working. Been watching you since pandemic started and love all your videos! Hello from Dubai
I am super oily and have tried using a gel moisturizer but it's too much I skip and just do a sunscreen. I do like an eye cream though.
Been trying to shop PMD from the link provided but can’t get through

NATURIUM will be sold in the UK soon.
@@Mixedmakeup When will it be available in Europe?
Honestly, an oil-free moisturizer gonna be your bestfriend (Kielhs, FAB)
Simple routine: toner (Isntree green toner, Origins relief & Resilience soothing lotion) + oil-free moisturizer + unseen sunscreen
Helped me so much!!
I was wondering if you could review the new elf skin care the pure skin line. Please and thank you

I love azelic acid more, its pregnancy safe if you get to that stage in your life, and I get the leave on cream, it leaves my skin so soft.
My derm said using a moisturizer + SPF is personal preference. I prefer with 💗 ps you SOLD that Hero SPF 🤑
Great recommendations!!
What would you recommend for very large pores
is the hero cosmetics sunscreen moisturizing enough to be used without a moisturizer for oily skin?

Why do You think about skinyPEN laser for large pores?!
My okay complete sunscreen is a great moisturizer on its own
Me over here with my oily skin and my 10 step evening routine 😬
Me too and I love the feeling of slathering it all on! I don’t think it makes me any oilier at all.
Evening is a whole different ball game! Live it up!
What can you use in place of salicylic acid? I’m allergic to it :(
Glycolic acid is another option. Hope this is useful.

I didn't realize that 0.5% BHA was ideal for daily use, and the 2% is better used a few times a week. That's good to know

That sunscreen is not great for oily skin. It's greasy. I'd recommend it for dry skin.
2% salicylic acid is great for oily skin. 5% is a bit too strong .....🤔
She said 0.5% for daily use and 2% for a couple times a week.
