De-escalation infringes on my right to self-defense! As a guard I have control of the premise. I must be able to use lawful, reasonable force to exercise control of premise. when people are causing a disturbance or trespassing. I have to be able to use lawful, reasonable force to prevent that person from escalating the problem. Blaming the guard for taking control of the premise by saying the guard escalated the problem is wrong. The guard was doing his job! 18:11
