- Today I'm rearranging my antique booth Green Onion Vintage. I'm sharing my process of redecorating and creating vignettes in the antique farmhouse and cottagecore styles. My booth is a mixture of antiques, handmade goods, and refinished furniture. We primarily use Dixie Belle chalk paint on our furniture which you can purchase on our Etsy Site. Hope you enjoy this video!

Love it all
Yes ready for primitive colors. The mustards , rust, and evergreens. I would keep the drawer open with a small fabric hanging out so they see the butterflies. I love the mirror.
I thought that about leaving the drawer open too.
Love!
Maybe try taking antiquing wax on the mirror to bring out the beautiful details. The wax will stay in the recessed parts and wipe the excess off the raised parts. Your booth is beautiful.
Beautiful space 💕💕💕
I like to watch video like your because I never get to travel or get out much...I enjoy everyone sharing their spaces. It really helps to see the outside other than our own surrounding....which I do love..but yurn for change .thank you ❤️ so much for sharing
I'm so glad you enjoy them! Happy to have you here!
This is a treat getting to visit your booth tidy up while getting to listen to a favorite acoustic song choice.
As always you have such a way with staging and revamping items. think you should open one of the drawers of the dresser with the butterflies., open one of the drawers and let the customers see your idea of whimsy. you are a creative young woman keep on with all you do to give others joy.
I’m from Minnesota. It’s a little hard to shop your booth but I love your videos and find them very inspiring on how to put items together. Keep them coming.
I love the red and white case
I have a old farmhouse in England, I’ve completely furnished it with old and vintage things , I’ve done most of the up cycling myself , but I do like to visit different little shops and antique markets , I used to go to the french markets before COVID , I could pick up such beautiful things for a few euros, but the prices in the antique shops and markets back in the uk were ridiculously high and I just won’t pay them . I love everything in your booth .😊
Thank you so much for watching. How I wish I could visit your farmhouse in England!
Love your shop. I think you should open the drawer on the dresser so people can see the butterflies. It may bring a new light to the piece. Is beautiful. Tyfs
Great job 👏 prices seem fair, I love going to such places but seems there's not very many in my area.
That mirror is gorgeous….LOVE the chalkboard idea. Would totally snag it then
I'd probably buy out your booth. I love a lot of the things you have!
Beautifully presented booth.
Thanks for sharing.
You booth looks great! Always so excited that you've posted another video. Mother of three grown children, but still remember how little free time you have when they are your boy's ages. Thank you for squeezing in some time for your youtube friends!
Everything looks Great and I love the size of your booth.
Thank you from AZ…so great to see how you stage there in the mid west….love everything in your booth❤️
I love everything very nice booth
Love your booth
I enjoy seeing everything in your booth 👍
TFS. You two have a great booth with very nicely done items well staged. The prices are too high for my small town, but bet they're spot on for yours. Maybe have a sale week to motivate, but don't reduce much. That mirror is a beauty. Maybe distress it or mark down some, but chalk boards don't sell as well as mirrors for me now. Stage the highchair with a big ole plant on the seat and some folded napkins, etc. on the tray. I've been doing this 40 yrs, and still have no idea why some things sell & others don't. Sales will pick up soon, so hang in there!
I am a reseller as well and have a couple booths. They do take a lot of time and attention but just love doing it!! I find it so curious how some pieces fly out and others just sit. And of course time of year affects as well, just never know.
Such a great job on your booths and items, the mirror would be perfect for my bathroom makeover!
it's all beautiful!
Love it. I love to refinish antiques also. Congrats on your new baby!
Love your booth and your style!
5:29 Love the mirror. I think country French/Italian is going to be the next trend. I'd hold on to it as it is for now. Making it a chalkboard? As long as it's replacing the mirror, not destroying it. Store the mirror, that way you can put it back if need be. I like the new arrangement. You say that some things have been in there for so long but people weren't shopping for a very long time. I know I'm still not. I think COVID is going to keep mutating, like the flu does.
Luckily, people are more optimistic than I am and are starting to come indoors to browse and shop. Outdoors has been the craving but that'll change soon.
Paint that mirror teal! To beautiful to ditch!
I just like to see what you’re doing! Looks nice.
You have such a talent for staging!
Thank you! I enjoy it!
Great stuff loved it all
Love your booths!!
Maybe bring in more black & white furniture... I enjoyed the video. Hope you're having an awesome day, and lots of sales.
Open the drawer of that beautiful Chester drawers so you can show the stamped features hang a really beautiful quilt out of it
Try just moving the white mirror. Round/oval mirrors are more popular now…at least in my area in Ky.
8:13 I think you should stage that dresser with one drawer pulled out (maybe drape lace or doiley out) so they can see surprise and also may be able to sell for that price. Seems a bit high, but the details should be accentuated.
I love your booth. I wonder if (@ 5:56) your window would sell if you raised it up from the floor and displayed it differently? Also, your precious chest-of-drawers should have your detailed drawers opened with a linen of some sort draping out. Otherwise, as a customer I might not pull a drawer out and notice itJ ust a thought (as a virtual customer).
I thought the same thing about the butterfly 🦋🦋🦋🦋drawers! Great suggestion! 😀
I thought the same thing on both the drawer & the window shelf. I absolutely love the little tiered table you redid!!🦋
I have a booth at an antique mall, my stuff is more of a 1930’s time. Sales slowed down the middle of June, I’m sure it will pick up this fall.
Love your style and set up, everything is beautiful 👍
Thanks so much! 😊
Just a suggestion but maybe try and see if you need to mark down that mirror to ~$50 because it's a smaller wall mirror. And for the dress you're having issues with, try to see if you need to change the door handles, perhaps it needs something a little more rustic to match with it. Like I said though, just a suggestion that might help, otherwise always love when you tour your booth as I wish I could have that experience to see it. Always liked your style and decor as I'm more of a color person when it comes to design.
My friend and I both have antique booths here in Monroe GA, and it has been very slow. I believe so many people are traveling and not shopping as much the last month. We are hoping it picks up soon. I love your channel!
My booth sales have also been very slow this summer. Summer is typically slow but things are beginning tI pick up and will hopefully continue.
I cant believe that blue gingham dresser hasnt sold yet!! I looooove that one
Looks good
Looks great! You display everything so nicely! I'm a dealer as well & understand the concept of styling merchandise.
Thanks so much for watching!
I'm not a pro by any means..but.. I net if you styled your dresser with the butterfly sides left open a bit with cute things styled inside the drawers here and there that it would sell faster. Those details make it pop, but you can't see them. Your booth is beautiful!!
greetings from california. love all that you have great ideas ... i wish i lived closed by ill be buying tons from you.
Dear friend thank you so much for sharing your antique booth with us love seeing what you put together and how are you design it
You have so many beautiful things in your booth.
Leave the drawer pulled out on that beautiful dresser so the butterflies can be seen. Love your booth. Wish I was closer to buy the wicker chair.
You didn't ask for suggestions, but I hope it's ok if I give you a couple? What if you pulled the dresser drawer out so that the butterflies are visible? And drape a quilt or something out of the drawer? That way, people can see the detail. I think it's a beautiful piece and well worth the amount you're asking for it. The second thing is the window shelf that is on the floor and kind of back in the booth. Have you ever staged it on top of a table or something (somewhere higher), with some smalls in it? I think it's a really cool piece and maybe people just aren't seeing it when they go to your booth. Maybe it would help if people could see how to use it. I really love your channel and enjoy seeing your projects. Your booth is really nice and actually only a couple of hours from me. I hope someday to visit it.
I’m new to your channel very nice. Can’t wait to watch you do diy projects.👏🤗
great job on the booth revamp...and i LOVE that high chair :)...your prices are definitely competitive--hang in there...repainting the mirror may help...if it's been hanging around for any length of time with no "bites" it's time to rethink it...don't know how you manage all this and take care of a new baby--thumbs up to you :)...make it a great day and thank you for sharing :)
Booth looks beautiful and you did an awesome job putting everything together and making some wonderful little Vignette all about hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy
Thank you!!
Love your booth before and after. It is important to shuffle your booth around. Looks good
Your booth does look great. As for the ebb and flow of life, so too do sales ebb and flow. Does the mall manager ever host special sales where they have additional vendors outside thus bringing more oeople from afar? A local shop here does that and her vendors inside experience increased sales on these days as well. Happens twice a year and really helps people who didn't know about you....find you.
I love all your things and I think your very talented. However, where I’m from in NY I feel allot of your stuff is price kinda high but, that’s just me.
You do such beautiful work on your furniture and the shopper isn’t thinking about all your hard work you put into it they are looking for a good deal.
Of course I’m sure you know that. I hope you sell it all. Thanks for sharing. Hugs my friend ⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️
Hello,if you are ever around West Frankfort IL please stop in and visit Your Hearts Desire. Great place and people! Love your channel ❤
Thank you for sharing
Great job Nicole, thank you for being honest with your sales mine have been down too and it is so discouraging. I am hoping things will pick up soon!!
Love your booth! You and your Mom together, that’s a beautiful thing!
I have a dresser just like yours that is behind the wicker chair! Mine is wood finish and no door. Otherwise identical down to the pulls.
You have such great taste and beautiful unique things I would go nuts in your store I would be buying up everything I’m going to buy a house in the next year and I’m looking for things that I like and I really love your style of course I will have to wait to see what the house is going to look like and all but I’m getting really great ideas and maybe I can buy some small things I live in South Carolina so we are pretty far away from each other and I’m sure the shipping would be a lot have a great day thanks 😊
I love the mirror! Maybe lower the price some.
Your booth is very attractive! I would love to shop, but I'm in Georgia. If Anything... on the mirror I would consider adding color in lieu of changing to a chalkboard.
Love your booth. You have so many beautiful things. I wish I could shop there. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day.
I’m getting ready to start my booth I am in a waiting list and adding to my back stock !!
I so enjoyed seeing your booth! Thank you! I love your chest of drawers and surprised they haven’t sold. I look at Facebook marketplace some. I notice some vendors will put their item on marketplace with the antique store address. I have bought a couple of items that way. I would have never seen them if they didn’t post them. I’m not sure if you do that already but may be an idea. Love your stuff!
tip: Leave at least one of those pretty drawers with the decorated sides open.
I couldn't agree more!! I was going to point that out in a comment as well.
Star live close to you I would come by that mirror from you I loved it and then I would put I would make it look old looking and then put a wash of white over top of it and put it in my bedroom by my nightstand but you live too far away but it's a gorgeous mirror I'd help you out if I live there keep up the good work
I see so many things in your booth that I would love to buy wish you were selling online too
love the white mirror! the chest of drawers is beautiful. many great ideas from watching your show.
Looks great! Love that bowl and the window with shelves!!
Thank You for notifying me that I won the brush giveaway. I sent you my address awhile ago, just double checking that you got it? TFS Have a blessed day. Love your shop!...
Congratulations, Elizabeth!
Too bad I don't live closer as I've been looking for a dresser and a side table. Looks good
Keep the drawer open with the butterflies on it so the shoppers can see it
LOVE YOUR BOOTH❣️ I live in Dallas and have been wanting to visit your shop this summer but health has gotten in the way. But, my husband is driving to Chicago this afternoon and coming back in a couple of weeks. He said he would be happy to go visit for me if not too much off the Interstate or too far from Joplin??? He can only bring home smalls but I’ll take that❣️
Where is your 2nd location??
I love watching your channel and the tour of your booth. Love the white mirror, don’t make a chalkboard out of it, the frame is too beautiful!!
Hopefully 🙏 my husband can make it there⁉️⁉️
Thanks, Lynda Gretser
Lynda, I'm so sorry, I struggle to keep up with comments and am just now getting some responses out. My booths are in Edwardsville, IL at My Treasure House and Greenville, IL at Third Street Market. Edwardsville's store is closed on Sundays and Greenville's store is closed Monday-Wednesday.
Love the high chair and the red/cream striped chest.
Mind to tell the price of the set of plates? Can you show the price of some of your stuff, love the vignettes in your booth.
I wish you the best in your booth.
Wish I live close, would definitely be purchasing from your booth.
It's so funny, I saw someone yesterday, who was making hanging shelves, from wicker plates, and just jute rope tied to them, as the hanger, and she said she was selling them for $18.00, and they flew out of the store, but you are having trouble selling a real antique bowl, for $18.00. I dont know if it is just the different areas, of the country, or if it is just the style. I can say, for myself, I would rather have an antique bowl, than a wicker plate with some jute rope on it, if I were into farmhouse. I mean, the little hanging shelves were neat, but the bowl is quality. Another thing, is the dressers, when you watch some of these channels, they seem to be selling their furniture, quickly, so, I don't know what it is, but it is strange to me, because you have some gorgeous items, that you are selling for much less than what they were selling them for. I have been hearing that the farmhouse style is starting to fade, too, so, maybe, that is what it is. Thanks for showing how you styled your booth.
You have such an eye for decorating Nicole 😍 Our styles are extremely similar. I love all of your videos rather you are just rearranging your booth or doing DIYs 💞
You need to leave the drawer open! It makes the dresser!
The booth looks great! 😃😍 So many pretty things! 😍🤩❤ Would you consider selling💰/shipping📦 the green-handled potato🥔 masher? If so, I'm interested!! 😃
Looks great as always! I have had booths & I'll be opening a shop soon. I was noticing your tags. Is the bar code for the shop's POS system or your own inventory system? I'm curious what is being used? I'm researching. Thanks!
Hi Jeanne! The barcodes are given to us by the store. The green onion tags I make myself on my cricut. I use the barcode numbers that are given to me in my record keeping---when something sells I only see the barcode number online, so I have a detailed record of what item corresponds to each barcode so that I know what has sold.
I loved seeing your booth! I just got back from doing a major overhaul on my booth (and filming it 😊) since I sold a dresser and was able to double the size of my booth. My sales were down last month and the start to July has been slow. Maybe it's happening everywhere as I'm in PA. I enjoy your videos! tfs
I saw some things I really liked as well. Fabulous booth. Do you sell online?
Would it be better to drop the price on the mirror by $10.00? There might be someone that would pay $55.00 for it.
So agree Janet Erin. So nice as a mirror. Do we really need another chalkboard ??
Your booth is lovely!
Hopefully your sales pick up some! I'm sure the pandemic had something to do with them being down, then people wanted to be outdoors after being stuck inside for so long.
I still love that blue dresser. Omg I wish I lived close to you. I love your style. I did make some of the wood risers you made. PS, you do not look like you just had a baby! 😉❤️❤️
Don’t do the chalk !! Do the frame in gold leaf !!!!
Price your mirror for $45 it will sell $65 is to much. You'll be surprised how quickly it will sell.
Just reviewed your changes. Leave the drawer open on the dresser with the butterfly on the side. Buyers can't appreciate your work with it closed!
