    Hola! los recomiendas para utilizarlos para hacer los títulos de los apuntes de clase? es decir, en las hojas de libreta de transparenta/arruga?

      hola, solo si usa demasiada agua, probablemente usaría marcadores de alcohol más que acuarela, pero creo que depende del efecto que desee

    What kind of paper did you use, Bonita? Everytime I've used these, they tear up my paper so I'm very curious.. Such a cute illustration too!
    I had no idea you have a skill share class!!! I'm gonna go take it right now!! 💖

      Hey! I used spectrum noir watercolour paper, I think because its not as cottony as other wc papers it doesn't flake as easy under fibre tips x

    As always this is a great video. But you said something that kind of threw me. You said they are vibrant because they are dye based not pigment based, and I know to be quite the opposite. I have some Winsor & Newton watercolor markers, and it says they are so juicy and vibrant because they are pigment based,not dye based. And indeed they are very vibrant. So now I don’t know which one is true

    • @BonnitaDoodles
      @BonnitaDoodles  5 років тому

      As a rule i have found dye to be richer and travel further with a brighter colour than pigment but that may not be true with all brands. I haven't used the W&N water colour markers yet so not been able to test out. I've never known dye based watercolour markers to be not as vibrant though. Maybe I need to do some experimenting! Thanks for watching x

      The upside to pigment is it's a lot more archival than dye!

      Bonnita Doodles I’m sure you are a lot more experienced than myself, but in this I will have to argue that you are not correct. I did research before I bought the W&N watercolor markers, and I also bought some nice dye based brush markers, so I wanted to see the difference, and it’s really the opposite. The pigment based markers will always be more vivid colors, stronger and juicier than the dye ones. There aren’t too many watercolor markers that are pigment based, and you say you didn’t use the W&N ones, so ya, if you will try them you will see the difference. That’s why the regular tube watercolors are so much stronger and the colors are so vivid.

    So basically you don't really paint with them, you just are laying down the color?

      Yup! Use your birsh and water to paint with them
