I try to write notes because writing helps me remember things even if I don't refer to them when I'm revising. What my teacher tells me is that it is not effective to study like the day before the exam and he tells us to relax the day before and don't be so stressed. Of course, this is only my own studying tips, it might not work for you. Don't worry though, you will find your own technique! ;)
