    Im a 40 yr old women. I am lifting weights four times a week I do HITT four times a week and I walk two miles on my off days. I was so sore and these are not intense workouts. I started taking Creatine because I heard it's great for older women and it has been a complete game changer. Im absolutely mind blown by how much better I feel. More women need to be taking this supplement.

    I don’t social media other than this platform. My question is : should I take creatine alone even if my preworkout serving I take already has 3grams of creatine…… plus I’m a huge meat eater.

    Is regular old creatine the one to take or should I take a different kind? As far as I know, plain old creatine monohydrate is the way to go, but I want to make sure I take the proper one.

    It sounds from what your saying creatine isn't just for those that workout, but also for general health, even in those that don't. Couple questions:
    1. A lot of the products I see on the shelf, have added sugar. As a person trying to avoid sugar, why is it necessary to have it in most products I see? Are there any sugar free creatine products?
    2. I'm not into strength training/body building. I am into doing a lot of intense back country hiking/backpacking(much more enduranced based than pure strength). Would creatine be helpful in this pursuit?

      Your best bet is creatine monohydrate, it's the most researched form of creatine and it doesn't contain anything except for the creatine itself. Since it helps with recovery and provides the muscles with more energy for activities, it will most likely help you as well

    • @Steamyarmpits
      @Steamyarmpits Рік тому

      Take creatine monohydrate, it’s the most researched creatine and the cheapest. All these new forms of creatine are not proven to be any better than creatine monohydrate and the newer forms are a whole lot more expensive

    Back in the day the U.S. Army forbade troops from taking creatine and even made on base stores stop selling it.
    Imagine all those wounded, or just injured, soldiers losing months of building up strength.
    Some soldier drinking only Pepsi and beer while dipping a can or two of tobacco a day and consuming 3 months of creatine in a week and the general's blame creatine for organ damage.
    Does the Army still prohibit the sale of creatine?

    • @aster5193
      @aster5193 2 роки тому

      It's almost fake! Creatin can lead to a rise in DHT, the hormone wich cause hairloss. But to loose hair and go bald you need to have very high levels of DHT, and Creatine doesn't give you that much. If you don't have bald men in your family and you are not at risk of going bald, creatine will not make you Mr.Clean

    I have been taking creative for a month now and within that timeframe my left knee has stopped clicking while going upstairs. I came here to confirm that it could be the creatine that had done this and found a not on Google that it helps in enhancing g cartilage formation. I thought my knee would never stop clicking and yet here we are.

      As far as I'm concerned there is no such thing as "best" creatine. Just buy the simplest creatine monohydrate anywhere, no flavour, no nothing just pure creatine and you are good to go.

      Everyday, 3g to 5g of Creatine Monohydrate. Studies says that creatine is safe up to 5 years of continously taking it, but as of now I think it's because we didn't had the time to make experiments longer than 5yrs

      As per the recommendation, you should take 5g of creatine per day for 4 to 8 weeks and then cycle off for atleast 2 weeks before resuming.
      Even the companies that make creatine recommend you cycle off on their label.

    • @inglessimplificadoquito
      @inglessimplificadoquito 2 місяці тому

      @@tear140 Yes it does. I have had the worse lower back pain imaginable. Almost snapped my spine on a 500 lb deadlift. The thing is, you want to strengthen the back muscles. These days my back is a whole lot better, especially after deadlifts. But, if I just slobout and not do exercise, I get back pain. It's all about building or strengthening the muscle. Creatine will just help restore the muscle that you exercised, and give you more strength to do the exercise.

    • @inglessimplificadoquito
      @inglessimplificadoquito 2 місяці тому

      @@tear140 It also depends on the Creatine. I find CREAPURE...Akind of creatine, is effective in taking away pain associated with weightlifting.
