Before that, there were about 10 generations of hmongs living in complete isolation in laos. The ones who stayed in china have the Chinese tone. And you can hear the thai tones in hmong thai and the Vietnamese tone in hmong vietnamese..from the newer generations. As well as the hmong laos tone. Accents I should say. Just listen to the documentaries during the secret war and pre-war by jacque lemoine. The isolated hmong villages speak it to how we're used to in the United States. So in conclusion the og hmongs in the United States have the original hmong tone. And will be the last if we stop speaking it.
