@Warmaster2001 usually by the emperor yes, mostly because france usually rivals them and thus can't inherit, and whoever the emperor is usually maintains better relations than whichever third option is selected though usually the player will inherit if they go for it due to the AI being bad at managing relations.
Sometimes i've seen Spain get it from Austria, I've seen France get it, but usually some weird nation gets it and then releases the Lowland States as HRE princes.
Pretty sure the British divisions on Dover didn’t lose org because it needs to be a successful para drop, i.e you would need to take a tile next to Dover
So, they actually implemented the thing, that the description of "Combat insertion" said all along (This effect can occur once per state every 30 days)? Sounds not like a nerf but like an overdue bug-fix for me.
No. France doesn't always reject "Demand Calais" on historical. I know that at least if both you and France are fighting a defensive war against Germany (do not need to be in a faction together), and you are doing well, and if you apply Political Pressure, they will accept. It's possible that only that first one matters. I don't think they even have to like you that much, but you may as well try (I never asked for Military Access and had some other negative modifiers, so I doubt I got it to 100%). France still managed to die because they are stupid, and I fought Germany for those lands. So you can make Belgica without angering the Allies. Once you have cored that land and given all the Allies Military Access to your land, the Allies will even give that land back to you instead of France during a D-Day. And of course, the Allies won't intercept your convoys from Curacao, The East Indies, and Suriname. Japan will declare war on the East Indies, but if you allow your puppet to make its own units there and garrison the ports, they don't seem to be able to do successful invasions. Also, I was able to get an Air Facility relatively early. I just sold my initial air force for a little bonus to construction. I'm a bit disappointed in the false clickbait. :-/
I’ve had historical on for Calais option. I’ve improved relations with the Dyle Plan focus for +15 with France and they gave it to me with the bottom option. Easy to core 3 million more pop. and continue the focuses since you’ll be able to cap France easily anyways.
Hi FeedBack! Love your stuff France does not always deny Calais. I have had them say yes twice - once when I threatened war when they were already at war with Germany, and another when I offered a piece of the Congo during the interwar. Both instances on historical. I did save scum to see if they would ever accept, and it took 4 to 5 restarts to get 1 acceptance. Could be very poor RNG based on exterior factors (such as war with Germany, alliance with France, high opinion, etc)
The paradrop landing would have been fine if you landed two paratroopers on the tiles behind dover. You'd get an encircled bonus on the tile, and the two divisions can help in the fight/open up the combat width
Might also be because Dover has 5 static AA so it's not the best to paradrop. Bittersteel just did it in Hull with Hungary. However I suppose Portsmouth or Plymouth are also possible.
13:38 Even with historical they accept when you „buy“ Calais, at least they did that yesterday when I played Belgica, but I had like 2 full armys at that point.
I had more success with an early paradrop. Basically I put most of my factories making transport planes, as well as a 2nd airbase close to the front. When France refuses to give up Calais I already have 200 transports, so I can drop from two locations at the same time, taking France before they get their planes in the air. The real pain is I have no navy or means to tangle with the Brits.
The butchering of all words in this playthrough angered my ancestors. But, I do that with English on a daily basis, so there's that. Nice video, can't wait to try it myself when Im able to play again. Can't wait untill the next one!
I spent 10 mins on this with my out of date undergrad Latin. 'I came, I saw, I Belgiumed' would be 'Veni, Vidi, Belgavi' or possibly 'Belgi' Corrections more than welcomed.
Thank you for leading Belgium to the path of glory... You don't even have a glimpse of what being Belgian means... In every game about WWII, no belgian army... And HOI was always painful... "Speedbump hé"... The only game where people would select Belgium is Victoria 3. Now we can conquer the world with our magnificent country. Thx paradox Thx feedbackgaming Thx the world for making that even possible :-)
martial law is definitely not a neutral option for compliance. if you are at peace and getting a 10% compliance gain buff, you will still generate compliance about 3 times slower than on civilian oversight. after a year you will only be at 8.7% compliance compared to 26% on civilian oversight. in two years you will be at ~15% instead of around 45%, in 3 years you will be at 20% instead of 60%, and it will take you 4.5 years just to reach 25% compliance compared to less than a year for civ oversight. After 10 years you will still be at 31.5% compliance (compared to 94.6% for civ oversight). and this assumes you are at peace the entire time. without the compliance gain buff it will be even worse. in general, any compliance gain buffs will make the harsher occupation laws more viable as they reduce compliance by a flat value, but they are still super bad. i'm really not sure how you considered martial law somewhere in the middle as it has the highest resistance reduction of any occupation law (aside from the fascist exclusive one) and the worst compliance gain of any besides the fascist and extra factory/resource laws. it's towards the bottom of the list for a reason. if you want a good law to use for compliance but also reducing resistance, use local police force or liberated workers. otherwise use civilian oversight or local autonomy.
I was able to get Calais in the first demand just by maxing out opinion and having a spy max out diplomatic pressure. it was the further demands for me that the French wouldn't give in to and led to a war. I don't know why, but pairing diplomatic pressure with boosting opinion seems to force the ai to agree with the nonhistorical demands like 80% of the time. Its literally one of the only uses I can find for the espionage system. Also, is it just me or does it feel like smaller divisions are better on the offensive these days? I swear since gotterdamerung (probably butchered that one...) came out the game feel like it wants you to use small divisions. I've had thirty width tanks completely fail to take much ground, maybe a tile or two, but then I have a force of 18 width tank divisions that I can cram a lot more of into a single battle and pile drive the air back several states at a time.
I really appreciate your efforts! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
yeah it seems like with every update paradox continue to punish people who like to play minor nations, taking away things that only add to the experience for no reason
Christmas is early this year, bro you must have been working like a mad man!
🍩🥛
Eu4 player here, usually burgundy gets personal unioned then annex

@Warmaster2001 it can be anyone to the point where it get's very cursed
@Warmaster2001 honestly I've seen it under sweden more than anyone else, probably because burgundy likes to support their independence.
@Warmaster2001 mostly by some random opm like hesse or bremen
Sometimes i've seen Spain get it from Austria, I've seen France get it, but usually some weird nation gets it and then releases the Lowland States as HRE princes.
in your allied intel tab, at the bottom you van hit "open logistics" and you can see everything that they are missing
Dave, learned this from Bittersteel but change your planes to day operations only when training. It massively decreases air accidents.
I've heard this before. Not sure if it's true
@@FeedbackGaming new video with spreadsheets coming? lol
@@FeedbackGaming It definitely is. Tried it as turkey. Lost 20 planes total. Using the day trick, lost 4. Could be random though
Don't let FeedBackGaming find out what an "Imperial Diet" is

It was hilariously op, I'm kinda sad they nerfed it but it's understandable
the paratrooper strats dont work because theres now a cooldown on the thing that decreases the org
不不不,空降師要在進攻的時候,突然的,出現在敵人後面,才是真的有效,而且最好形成包圍圈、阻斷敵人的補給
exactly
For the paratroopers you could just do the usual tactic to surround dover and paradrop also on it with cas, old ways still works like a charm

You can click logistics to see what their deficits are, it only works for people in your faction tho
"Burgundy! Rising! That's right, we're now a purple Burgundy."
...
Purple Burgundy?
Don't you mean burgundy Burgundy? 😂
25:00 - to increase detection you can equip planes with dive brakes, flying boat, and air to ground radar modules!
16:57 Burgundy shout out literally the best color other then sardania or Byz or zoro persia in eu4

You missed the open logistics button at the bottom when trying to see what Germany needed

Burr-Gun-DEE!! Holy crap.

16:54 imagen after that focus the Netherlands start rising up against you

Feedback you can click open logistics for an allied nation (Someone in your faction) to see what they need in lend lease 39:00
21:31 When I did this path this event didnt fire. I believe if you complete the focuses to make the king a field marshall, this event will not happen.
how are you pronouncing burgundy so wrong
English get +100 to mispronunciation rolls.
Thanks for the vids. I enjoy having g something to take a short bit of time for entertainment from time to time

Your government doesn't collapse after bribery changes those are two other focuses one before and one after
France won’t always reject though?
You have surround a port with paratroopers not just spam all of them on a port. Kinda embarising for a claimed minmaxed video. Great video thoe
Go play as latvia in kaiserreich and restore USSR

Why not puppets dutch east indies and take there recourses anyway? Dont have to defend them this way
