Oh my god!!! This is the best limiter I've heard in my life, totally bashing out precision by UAD. Could you plzz make a comparison between this and the AOM?

So many tools. I like variety. There is no such thing as an all-in-one limiter because of the math involved...technically speaking. Some limiters can be used on a broad variety of genre and songs but if one has different limiters, you'll find that some work better with the song you're working on. That's my opinion based on what I know understand about the algorithms used in a limiter plugin. I think my opinion becomes more obvious when you find that you can't fix a problem at the end of the signal chain and have to go back into the mix, which usually causes problems because you already got it how you wanted. If so, these broadband eq's won't cut it. Just saying. Not trying to start a war but this is just from experience.

Just did a shoot out with the IK files and Slate FX-G won out over all my limiters ... had limiter transients at 3 Hard Smooth in the middle and 3.5 of Gain... no compressor... Stealth lost a little of detail in comparison.... Just a thought, looking forward to comments...
What about the AOM limiter?
wait, so you're saying IK stealth lost to the slate FX-G? or they are both tied for best?
if you don't use the transients parameters and dynmaic perception , FGX is on pair with Stealth but not better ...until FGX 2 ;) that said FGX , well used is a beast for sure and highly used here ;)

No not a lot at all ...it depends also on the oversampling ... notice that since it s supposed to be mainly used during mastering , you re not supposed to have a busy loaded session at the same time ...
not really, but if you put oversampling to 16x then rip bro:D but always use oversampling before exporting, gives a lot of quality!
Is this still good in 2021?
yep , it's not the best but one of the stongest and fastest , no suprise and does it well .... it got all options needed for a professional use while some still don't have them !!

It depends on your work and what you need ... if you want simple , the weiss maximiser is exellent ...if you want versatyle and one of the best sounding , imho ozone 9 maximizer is exellent .
Fabfilter is another keeper even sonnox limiter witch is higly underatted ... the ik is also superb ...
