Hey thanks for getting all those boxes dirty. The hot mud box has a plastic blade doesn’t it. You ever try a Blueline box. They have inside track wheels so you can run the center of but joints while their not fully dry without leaving wheel tracks. And good to know about the built in bead guides on the new tapetech boxes. I love those level 5 Extendable box handles. I have the little one same as yours. Love it in closets. Need the medium size one like your drywall master. Amazon has good prices on level 5 stuff. Mahalo
Thanks brother yes the hot mud box has plastic blades but they leave way to much mud for my taste. I owned blue line in the past solid built they just felt a little bulky to me. The level 5 handles are a great value and the drywallmaster handle is honestly the one that gets the most use till this day still running like new after at least 30 houses🤙
Have you tried the Tapetech box on corner bead. New style you said is like bead boxer guides the edge. I called All Wall to see if i can retrofit my 10 box with those.
They do but I think you have to replace the whole rear axle so its $$ if not they sell the bead boxers adapters. It works ok but if you want it really nice you still have to chase it with a knife. Only really works on mud set bead and metal bead , have to baby the no coat a little so it doesn't peel the paper...
I found a kit for $45 shipped. Too retrofit the older TT boxes Comes with axle base plate and wheels. I like the Blueline box for first coat. It holds way more mud than the standard TT box.
Ya dude stay away from the platinum looks like a good idea but over all just a cheaply made product. If your looking for an economical box I would look into asgard by tape tech. Its basically tapetechs answer to level 5 since level5 is the cheaper well known brand. Find it at all way or on ebay you could probably counter offer on ebay and get it for cheaper.
Hello msg u all the way from Portugal.I love your videos keep going Brother…I would like to know if u ever tried the automatic Boxes from TapeTech?also if u have an experience with tapepro Boxes. If yes what’s the difference…Big hug of a Brazilian guy whom lives in Europe.🤙🏻👊🏻👊🏻
