- this is super common misconception, but in the same way that a person can be transgender without ever transitioning. someone who is Detransitioning isn't always leaving their Trans identity behind. Detransition is a technical term for a specific action not an identity in opposition of transgender Identity. And yes someone who is nonbinary does fall under the trans umbrella as transgender means aligns with a gender other than the one assigned at birth. ❤

You mean to say you can't change your biologicalsex gender is more presentation or as you put it appearance than anything else. I recommend reading the definition and distinction of gender and sex from the institute of endocrinology its one of the most clear and up-to-date definitions. Detransitioning does mean you stop being trans. That’s why it’s called being a detransitioner when you detransition.
Your incorrect the definition of detransition is to stop or reverse Gender affirming care it actually has nothing to do with personal identity. Transgender doesn't mean transition many trans people do transition many can't or don't they are still transitioning the same is true in reverse with detransition. If you want more research on gender diversity within detransition i recommend you read some of the work from Dr. Kinnon McKinnon who is also a detransitioner who is studying and researching detransition as a transgender man who has detransitioned. Don't be condescending when you haven't done the research.
There's no point arguing when the other person is adopting definitions to the terms vastly different (or sometimes _opposite)_ to what you are referring to. So you may see what you identify as a dog, and you may even be able to further identify this dog as a bulldog. You may describe this creature by the term "bulldog" to a complete stranger who has never set eyes on it, and that stranger may also refer to it as a "dog" and even be able to accurately describe what the creature looks like based on that commonly understood term, "bulldog". And yet, you may hear someone who defines their own terms call it a "goldfish". That would sound very nonsensical to you, but they hold a definition in their head based on a perception of reality completely inconsistent with what you can observe. And for some of them, they have a goal of getting you and the bulldog-loving stranger to adopt _their_ terms. And by doing so, adopt their version of reality.

I always thought, why don’t people just be androgynous?!? Nowadays nobody really cares, just be who you feel like being, without the need of dangerous surgeries and hormones. I have many androgynous friends and to me they all look absolutely stunning, they can kill it as a man and as a woman too.

THIS!!! I've been saying this for forever. Instead of worrying about being misgendered because no one can read their minds, these people should just present themselves however they feel that day. More feminine or more masculine, then just accept the pronouns they get. It would make everyone's lives that much easier, including the person questioning their gender identity. And besides, if all these people want to push the idea that gender is such a fluid factor of life, why get upset when someone calls them a she or he? It doesn't make any sense.

Well, sayings that you're just you. I think people need to stop fixating on labels and putting themselves in boxes. That's the problem with the trans movement. It just reinforces the gender stereotypes. People just hold onto labels because it's scary to let go of that way of thinking.
Thing with gender fluidity, you have to understand how utter confusing that is for the majority of the population. Flip flopping back and forth between personalities is extremely disorienting for most people, and generally people want consistency. And that’s not just for gender fluid, people with bipolar disorder, skitzophrenia, MPD all have this. Doesn’t mean they are bad people, it’s just that it’s understandable why someone might not understand. So just be patient with people.

Cross dressing is the safest most logical way of being transgender without suffering permanent effects and regret and the healthiest way to be transgender. I think you look beautiful both ways.

Not in any way shape or form gender fluid is a gender identity a way people exist as themselves. Dissociative Identity Disorder (not split personality) is a trauma based psychological disorder that causes multiple symptoms including but not limited to Dissociative amnesia between different segments of a mind. Gender isn't affected by trauma however many people are very confused by this. Hopefully the explanation helped 🙂

Do you mean you medically and socially detransitioned and you still see yourself as a woman, but a woman who switches up their gender presentation when they feel like it?

The thing is that feminine looking men are still a thing. I’ve known feminine looking men who dress up and they still consider themselves men but they just don’t look the stereotypical masculine way. That’s why we have personalities to distinguish ourselves and that’s what makes humanity beautiful. You don’t need all these levels to feel comfortable. I’m gay and sometimes I’m more feminine specially with friends but when I’m out public I’m just more masculine straight looking since I feel more comfortable like that. Men and women are beautiful how they are. When it comes to trans I always used to use in something more specific like men transitioning to trans woman and viceversa and not a “spectrum”. Now since I want to use the same terminology I use TRANSEXUAL since “it’s an espectrum” ruined it 🙄.

I feel like chopping off your g*nitals or wanting to change yourself is a lack of self love. Just something tells me that in the deep future, being trans will be a relic of the past snd irrelevant bc we will simply see and live fully in our divinity and not wish to change ourselves. All of my trans friends are deeply unhappy and hate themselves. I do wonder if, they fully healed, if they would still identify with being trans. Just feels like.... i have 2 channels on the same tv in my head, and i want to form a solid opinion and be a better ally and hold more compassion. But my instinct just says that it is a destructive pattern within society and not something that is authentic to our evolution as divine beings. Non binary is just something i dont get as well. I love ny friends who fit under these categories and hate feeling like i am lying; but i cant get past what for me feels like an obvious truth: being trans, while those emotions and experience are real and valid, is 100% a product of self hatred and a deep lack of self love.

If we can change gender, why can't we change other things about ourselves for example why can't we change from being a taxpayer to a non taxpayer in an instant or from non employed to corporate ceo status or from citizen to politician at a moments notice, oh yeah because everyone panders until money is affected.
Because much like you can change you hair or musculature get a surgery as needed so can another person. You pay taxes because it is a legal obligation based on income inorderto ideally fund the needs of the society. The ideas are not connected more than anything is connected to money it all both is and isn't thanks to a capitalistic ideal however money is not the source or center of everything contrary to your belief. Actually survival ,safety and the pursuit of individual happiness is the center of like that's why people need to use money to pay for things like food clothes and protection the basics of human survival. Gender diversity actually pre dates what we use as money, as the indigenous cultures of every continent of this world had people in their society who would now be seen as transgender, nonbinary, genderfluid, or even drag queens as gender presentation is part of our history as humans.

Less than 60 seconds of me using technical terms to explain who I am in society. Not analyzing anything simply explaining to people who I am, when I can get the medical care I need without a label ill stop using them, when people stop telling me what I am Rather than just listening when they don't understand ill shut up about terminology. I am different than you but not all people, when people can understand we are all different from each other and that variation is part of life ill leave it at that. When people understand that humans aren't simply male and female ill leave it at that.
Thank you for explaining...I have 2 kids in the LGBTQ+ community...one is starting the transition to female, but his pronoun is still "he" at the moment. I'm so nervous for him because I'm afraid of bullying; he's 28 and just starting...he'd already been bullied for having high functioning autism, and I got into trouble defending him (hey, I'm a momma bear!)...now I'm afraid of what will happen when I defend him for something else. I just want my kids to be happy. And as long as you're happy too, then that's all that matters, right? 😊
I'm best advice to you is this, don't worry about the pronouns he will let you know if they or she works better if that ends up being important to him. As far the bullies they will continue and if yall live in the US like I do its not just people its also laws that can be up against him, don't let that be a determinant just support him as his beautiful queer self and if that identity language changes work with it.
