Very likely it's a detuned engine to meet the VES requirements. In addition, Stinger is going for End of Life hence this Arteon will have dominance in this segment.
I have an Arteon with DSG. Great gearbox, lovely ride, poor interior materials and build quality, ongoing infotainment failure. Nice car to drive but I will be going back to a Japanese manufacturer next time: VW quality and reliability is just not good enough
Hate all the touch buttons on the steering wheel. Feel cheap and not precise. We have 6 senses, one is the “touch”, why don’t want to use it ? Nice feeling of good buttons Is so cool Not talking about finger prints also now on these touch buttons 😂
Any 2000cc turbo car which generates less than 200bhp is a joke. DSG gearbox somemore, not for the faint hearted as a lightened wallet after warranty is highly likely, especially under frequent spirit driviing condition. This interior look nice though.
@@samirav1137 I guess it will be good for u to update yourself on the latest car technology. Many car models already have 2000cc car in excess of 200bhp for many many years and there are no issues with that whatsoever.

Sad though malaysia gets the 280 horsepower while Singapore gets 180 plus horsepower..and the price Rm 280k and sgd 240k so much difference

What's wrong with a 190 hp 2.0tsi? Probably the best choice since a 2l shouldn't have more than 200hp if you want it to last long
