I got my detail geek chemicals and have already used the iron contamination spray to fix those tiny spots and there were a lot of them. I will use the "instant detail" spray later this weekend. Irish spring smells awesome and it’s a great mouse deterrent. Speaking from experience with our camper.
I honestly don't know how he does it without breaking a sweat. Every time I clean my car I'm exhausted and out of breath. That's how you master a skill, you make it look so easy!

Okay, so I posted on one of your videos a few months back about having bought a McCulloch because of your videos (absolutely love cleaning with it, BTW). Well, last week my newest toy arrived: a Bissell! My furniture desperately needed a deep clean. I’ve been over my recliner once already with it. And NOW I really appreciate just how much work and filth is involved in one of your 5-gallon bucket dumps after cleaning a vehicle! But boy is it fun to use! So satisfying to see all the dirt getting sucked out of my chair. :) Thanks for another great recommendation!

Soap is supposed to keep mice from making a home in your vehicle, my dad puts shavings of Irish spring in his car during the winter
Because she's too lazy to clean her car, she put soap to prevent mice. Disgusting woman.
My uncle had a mouse build a nest in his exhaust pipe, carbon monoxide vented back into the car and nearly killed him. So clearly mice don't care if a space is clean...so long as it's a warm, dry space to live.

Do you buff the 303 with a clean dry microfiber after applying it, or do you just apply and leave it?

Bought the McCullough steamer and it was worth the money on the first use. Bad ass tool to have.
So many uses... remove paint stains from hard surfaces, grease from stove tops, clean patio door slide rails... such a great tool
Alex Rihani I have only used the circle brush that comes on the gun and the gun itself on my suv. I haven’t even scratched the surface lol

Just bought a 2020 Seat Tarraco (VW Tiguan or Skoda Kodiaq) 1.5T for my wifey... man, these cars are very comfortable!! Very classy, lots of legroom and very fuel efficient.
Irish Spring soap is much nicer than most of the hanging “air fresheners” IMHO

The Irish Spring may have been to keep critters away, but I used to keep a bar if soap in my glove box for zippers. I had a bag that the zipper would catch on, and the kids' jackets got sticky zippers too. That bar of soap saved me many a kid melt down, or being late when the bag wouldn't open.
I've never been so late, but I enjoyed the detail! All the hair remind me of my cute husky Kira (kisses!).
My grandma keeps soap bars as air fresheners in her drawers.

The soap is a vermen repellent. I used it when I closed my camper for the season.

Dealing with water spots is very challenging.
I mostly encounter them on the windshield, and found a solution: kettle cleaner.
I put it on a microfiber towel and wipe the already clean glass.
I did not use it on paint or trim and I probably shouldn't.
The soap can actually help with reducing the smell from inside the car, I actually use this strategy in my car, it leaves the interior always smelling clean up to a certain level.
Have you checked your cabin filter?
@@michellemarshall6352 May not be the cabin air filter. Body odor and other scents can just naturally build up over time. If you live in a humid environment, carpets can soak up water and get musty as well.
Being someone that's owned a black 1999 Chevy S-10 and currently own a 2012 Dodge Challenger I can confirm it's not easy to prevent swirls and minor scratches. I don't have a pressure washer but, I do pre spray my car down with a sprayer before washing her by hand right down to toothbrushes (for the wheels) and Q-Tips for the grill, the hood vents, around my taillights and round the lug nuts. I don't even take my car to a touch-less car wash.

One area on vehicles like this with a rear hatch is how you clean that area. It’s not like the doors so can’t imagine you spray the upper hinge area like on the doors as you would be getting water inside. This area gets packed with layers of dirt, pieces of leaves and pine needles. Been looking to see how you do it so I can do it on my Acura.

Irish spring soap is to keep the mice away. Works for flies as well. We use it here on the farm all the time and were surprised how well it worked.

I hate the odor of "air fresheners", however, a bar of soap with a fragrance that one likes for hand washing or, better yet bathing, is something that, for the owner/driver for the vehicle will be something easy to live with while making the car smell nice. I have a bar of my favorite bath soap tucked into the storage tray under the front passenger seat and my car is always pleasant smelling. But, then again, my car never looks like any of these 4 wheeled disaster scenes you are hired to clean up.

Funny thing is that I have never seen Mitch detail a Toyota if he had, it was probably a long time ago and the ironic thing is that they are one of the most sold cars in the world
And the most reliable, & Honda. Him saying these Volkswagen’s are well made?😂. Lol, until you find out all the gargantuan electronics that are a big POS. Usually Modern Volkswagen’s start falling apart around 130,000 kilometres. Mechanics have told me this for a fact. The only reason people usually buy Volkswagen’s is because of the brand names of the Volkswagen original Beetle. They have nothing to do with them, you could fix a VW beetle back in the day with a screwdriver & a hammer. Well, those days are long gone. Too much plastic crap under the engine as well. We drive a 2006 Toyota Matrix, and my son cringes every time he detailes a Volkswagen.

Use compressed air between leather cracks for a better outcome, also makes life easier, also used compressed air for cheaper carpets to get the rest of the crap out, makes like 10000% easier, love your vids ❤️

Have 2 black VWs 2001 Bora (Jetta) V6 4motion, 2017 Touareg V8 TDI. The black is a Pearl metallic and clean and polished they are gorgeous. Both have beige nappa leather.

The green bar soap looks like Irish spring. We use it for a more natural form of “bug spray”. If you rub it on your clothes or picnic table the flies won’t bother you at all.

The soap is for smell and maybe bug control. I have heard Irish Spring, which is what that looked to be, is good for repelling mosquitoes and flies.
