If they're doing a really good job, you give them a tip. You get a good hair cut, good service in a restaurant or even a good experience in an Uber, they all deserve a tip. Especially Uber and Lyft drivers because of how they get paid. A lot of these folks are either paying their way through school or taking care of an ill family member. And all of them basically live off of tips since they make under $2/hr. Again, it's called being a decent human being.

I honestly think this is a Canadian thing. My grandparents were from Winnipeg, and man their cars were ALWAYS trashed like this. Always all kinds of rotting fruit, bread, food everywhere, stuff everywhere, tissues everywhere. I asked my Grandpa once why his cars were like that and he just said that is how Canadians are. I think in the middle provinces there is a lot of traveling involved for a lot of them so they have to pack a lot of stuff in the car in the event they break down in the snow and get stranded etc. Some people are just pigs also. 15 hours, wow. When I tell customers it's gonna be 8 or so hours their mouths drop. I try to explain to them that 8 hours isn't bad, especially when I'm charging a flat rate. But there our other shops around my town that would have had their "full detail" on that van done in 3 to 4 hours with 3 people working on it. And they'll charge more bc those employees need to get paid right? So I work alone to keep costs down and it's better for me to do what needs to be done instead of having to go back over someone else's work. Your work always looks great.

There is zero potential for damage if you use the steamer properly, so short blasts and don’t hold it one spot too long. With speaker grilles, I always hit them at a steep angle, limiting the steam that gets behind the grille, or if I’m using the brush I simply work quick. It’s all about knowing your tools and how to use them properly 👍🏻
