Really liked the story of the windsurfing invention. I own just 1 Starboard windsurfing board, it was bought about 19-20 years ago and incidentally it's the Starboard Go 180 L which you mentioned, 1m wide with optional sidefins and a formula like 60cm Drake fin. The EVA softdeck is still in excelent shape, the board is still used by my family, when we go to Vasiliki in Greece, we take it and kids and beginners play with it or even windsurf a little with small sails. Indeed it's like a family water platform which can be used both for beginners and for advanced riders, as it can go planning nicely with a 9sqm sail in ~10-12knots.
