Just came from FliteCup and it was amazing to see so many fliteboards in operation pushing the limits. Well done David and the team! More videos on Flite series 2 coming soon on our channel!
I just about Series 2 Pro and it's awesome. But my real comment is that the shim description is confusing. There has to be a clearer way to describe what lower shim numbers do versus higher shim numbers. When he says shim Zero is for advanced riders and shims 1 and 2 are for beginners it doesn't tell me what the board will do at the same speed. I still don't know if higher or lower numbered shims means the board will foil at lower speeds or higher speeds and what experience that brings to riders. In any case, I was using a number 3 shim and the board foiled far too often at speed 6 and always at speed 7. I'm 6 foot and 190 lbs. I figured lower shim number will give me more control over when I want the board to foil and, hopefully, take less effort for me to maintain it. I'm switching to shim 2 to see if I can foil more consistently without the board wanting to rise so high I could hear the propeller breaking the water! Cheers and let me know if this is remotely accurate.
It's impossible to give clear advice, there are so many combinations and parameters involved not just the shim but also the wings you are using, your own weight, speed, conditions, wind, chop etc.. Play around with shims 0-3 with one wing type and see which one works for you. For me worked well shim 2 but I know some like 0.
My Series 2 Pro became disconnected from the remote. I was able to re-pair the controller using the magnetic clip but what is the method for re-pairing a Series 2 if you're at the beach? Can it be done without opening the lid and using only the controller?
Love to buy one but @€10k+ I cant justify it starting out. Ye need to work in getting production costs down. Entry level model 5k max. If customers experience it working well and it being a quality product they'll upgrade to higher end models with better features.
You can check Fliteboard owners FB group for second hand series 1 boards. 5k is not realistic though. Even Waydoo is more expensive and it breaks a lot. You get what you pay for.
Great idea to have this FAQ session. So many questions well (and entertainingly) answered. Keep this communication and information up. Thanks.

i wanna buy the ultra , but not sure the foot strap can change position, cause I use to put my right foot infront, instead of the left front foot
